Visited 2 stores last week, Klarides in Seymour and the new Danbury store. Klarides used to be their best store near me. Now the inventory and selection is below their standards. The new Danbury store is huge and fully stocked. Its now clearly their best store near me. So 5 stars for Danbury.

Great place for plenty of less expensive items. Everything from clothing shelf food goods,pet supplies and for me gardening goods. Always good specials. Important to become a member of their rewards program,no cost and no need to clip their coupons if you do. Several stores in this area.

This is a great place to find bargain items. Outdoor furniture and other items are good quality and reasonably priced. Theres always something there that you just want to grab and put in your cart.With so many items to choose from in the store, youll find that theyre not so organized. Its very hard to find items by categories because theyre all over the place. Shoppers pull items from shelves and just drop them on the floor, or just stuff them back haphazardly on the shelves. I doubt think the staff can keep up trying to clean up after these shoppers, so things just lay around until maybe the end of a shift?The main reason why Im only giving this store 3 stars and Im totally surprised that they havent been fined by OSHA or the Fire Marshall in their town, is that the aisles are constantly being blocked by skids of unloaded merchandise. On numerous occasions when I go there, I cant go down some aisles because of these skids. They are such a nuisance and a hazard. I just dont understand how management allows this to happen repeatedly.In summary, if youre looking for good bargains, this is the right place for that. Just be prepared to do some maneuvering through the aisles.

This was my first visit since the Covid started. I have never seen this Seymour store in such disarray! I was really surprised. The Christmas decoration section seemed poorly organized as well as other Items. I was sad to see it that way. It must be difficult to have things in order with less employees due to Covid. I hope that things get back to normal after the Covid crisis.

I would have given it 5 stars if people werent in there without masks on that dont know how to stay away from others. Employees were fast, helpful and friendly- actively sanitizing.

Job lot has great deals there not always having all the things u may want however 90%of what u want are there at a great price

This is a cool place. Nice for things you need quick and cheap. Toothbrush, deodorant, socks etc. batteries are cheaper here too. Nice paintings for sale and some good winter jackets. Tools are available here and don’t cost a fortune. Tarps duct tape, and pet supplies are plentiful. They sometimes get MRE’s in and those are really good. Sunglasses, reading glasses and women’s clothes available also. As are toys Christmas decorations and seasonal items should you need them.

Associates were very helpful at finding our needs.

Be careful with some of the Crazy Deals they are very tricky. Its just another way to to get you back to spend even more money.

The store in Seymour is large & packed with a huge selection of items. Plenty of parking in the lot, Nd not far from Route 8 and the antique district. Bargain prices on clothing, footwear, rugs, tarps, household goods, and my favorite items are the foodstuffs! Tons of exotic cheap candy, nuts, chips, chocolates, teas, jellies & jams. Well worth a visit!

Retail store that has a bit of everything. Good for prices of off brands and closeouts. You can get some name brands at better pricing, like Bobs Red Mill products. Or bed sheets and curtains to spruce up youre bedroom. Maybe do some gardening with a shovel and hoe. Its a good place if you need a few quick things.

It is what it is, inexpensive warehouse type setting for rock bottom non perishables, household, clothing, outdoor items, pet supplies etc. Cramped aisles, a little dusty. Hit or miss on some things. Great insiders club weekly specials, often offset entire cost of item with same value given in club card. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Check them out when you have time to explore.

I like shopping here, even just to walk through this store can be fun.The staff is friendly and has been helpful when needed.I also appreciate the many non profit agencies this company helps.

I was pleased with my visit. When I got home I noticed I was missing several items. I called the store and they already had set aside the bag of items I left on the counter. I enjoy shopping at this store. Good prices and good people.

I needed a couple of things and found them there... And very reasonably priced. Also picked up All Spice to put onto pan of water with cinnamon stick to give house nice aroma throughout.

Always new things arriving. Sometimes lots of finds and other times not. Great to look for each season for supplies. Clothes and food too.

Absolutely worth the trip. Some things are carried on a regular basis although most are not. Its worth the time for the money you will save. Spring on gardening necessities, summer essentials, school supplies and winters woefully needed items all for a fraction of the price. Standard items that they carry are spices, bakeware, personal products, school supplies. Check it out.

Lots of junky stuff but some gems too, especially if you know what you are looking for. One of my regular items is aluminum cooking/baking pans, and suet ($1 a cake). Clothing is hit or miss-lots of off colors but plenty of basic tees for men, socks for everyone and season stuff if you are a small or medium. Lots of area rugs, sometimes the selection is better than other times. Shop during off hours. Aisles are narrow and lines are long even then.

Huge Ocean State! What was nice is that the store had a little bit of everything with decent selections/variety. It was picked up, not disorderly, and our cashier was pleasant.

I thought I was in Rhode Island when I went in and then realized I was still in Ct so I started screaming at the top my lungs that This was Connecticut, we are not the ocean State. I ran outside and put the entire store on top of my Kia soul and drove it back to right state, customers screaming bloody murder but I got everyone there safely.
