Nothing but 5 stars for this location, Fredrick and the whole team are extremely knowledgeable I have been there dozens of time, got the parts I needed or just plain honest advice. Raises and bonuses should coming thier way soon.

One person working the counter, 7 people in line and you can hear a group of workers chatting in back. Part is showing in stock and they could not find it. 30 minutes wasted.

Great place my mom needed new windshield wipers for her 2015 Ford fusion hybrid, and they couldn’t match the original windshield wipers, then they just found a the right j hook.

I want to share a positive experience I had with a sales associate by the name of Preston who works at the AutoZone Store No. 3782 in Shawnee, KS. I needed to go into that store yesterday (8/26/20) and see if I could get a replacement windshield wiper on the drivers side of my car. Here is some history for the reason of my visit to this particular AutoZone: In January of this year (2020), I stopped in at this store during a winter storm in bad need of purchasing windshield wipers plus an additional wiper for my rear hatchback window. The associate helped me that day with this purchase and I believed they had been installed correctly by the associate. Then, in mid-July, I drove through a torrential rainy thunderstorm whereby my drivers side wiper came loose and blew off while I was on the interstate. I had to pull over to wait out the storm since I had no wiper on my drivers side. I eventually got home safely and parked this car for a few weeks (I have a second car I can drive), and then decided to drive back to the AutoZone where I had purchased the wipers back in January to see if we could figure out what had happened and get a new one put on. This was yesterday, 8/26/20, and Preston assisted me. He was so great and understood my problem and proceeded to get a new wiper and put it on. THEN, he made an observation between the new drivers side wiper he had just installed versus the passenger side wiper. There was a missing piece or small cover that should have been snapped on both wipers back in January! He noticed that that small cover was not on the passenger side wiper and went back to get one to snap onto that wiper so the same thing could not happen to me again! I can now see why this problem happened to me in the first place (back in January) and because of Prestons keen eye, the correct installation of both wipers could then be made, and now I have confidence that such an incident will not happen again. (My single rear wiper was perfectly fine and needed no correction). So, today I just wanted to point out this Customer Service WIN for Preston and express my appreciation in getting this problem satisfactorily solved. Joni Riffle, Parkville, MO

Extremely busy, one person at checkout but he was very nice and apologetic and acknowledged everyone until others came out to help. Then 4 people were there and it went very fast. They also loaned me a screwdriver to help me determine what products I needed. Very positive experience!

Awful. Placed order online for next day delivery from this location on February 1st, and it has yet to arrive. They claim it was delivered, but tracking never changed and we work from home. They lie. Horrible customer service.

And if I could put 5 more stars on there I would!!! Earl, who is also the Manager there, went above and beyond to get my headlight changed. There was also a great young lady working that night that started out helping me, she got one headlight changed but the other side was really hard to unscrew so she asked Earl if he would give it a try. But there were SUCH COMPLICATIONS with this - but he refused to let me leave and risk getting a ticket. At one point he was laying on the ground under my car chasing a runaway screw. He was my hero that night, and in the unseasonably cold weather too. I dont know what I would have done without him, God bless good souls like Earl! Go to his AutoZone, he takes excellent care of his customers!

They locked the door early. I came at 9:42 for a bottle of fluid. When I pulled on the locked door the guy at the front ran to the back.

Wonderful!! I had a dead battery in my car when I tried to leave work at 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday. My work security jumped it, but it was AutoZone that saved my bacon. They had the correct battery in stock and were able to install it right away. That meant I could easily get to work the next day. Nate was especially helpful. I really appreciate him freezing his fingers to help me.

I had one of those horrible brake jobs where everything went wrong and I had to hit the store multiple times for additional items. Then I had a complicated return for some of them at the end. Everyone was awesome, and Ali and Nate in particular were super patient and competent.

Jack and Nate did a great job again. Looked at the reviews and allot of people speak highly of them. They helped me as much as they could while I was driving through town and had a break down. Was able to fix in the lot and they let me clean up no questions. Awesome job gentlemen.

Great service at this location, like REALLY great! It took less than 10 minutes to get a laundry list of wear parts for my car. The associate was knowledgeable, quick, and kind of having a good time at his job.

Not very knowledgeable about stock. Seemed like they were making 1 person, the new guy do the work and didnt seem to want to help him.

Always helpful staff, great rewards program and they always have what I need in stock. I didnt realize that I had earned 20 dollars in rewards until they told me at checkout, I had lost my rewards card which I need to redeem my rewards and they gave me a new one and took the time to explain how to activate it. Will continue shopping at AutoZone and this one is near my house which is an added bonus.

Ali and this older gentleman I forgot his name forgive me lol helped me out in the most amazing way. My car battery died while going to the lake yesterday and I managed to get a jump to autozone since it was so close to my house. I have a Dodge Journey in the battery is by the wheel so they can’t change my battery and I was literally stranded at atuozone because my car wasn’t going to hold a charge. This nice man jumped my battery and said this older gentleman who I can’t remember the name lol gets off at 3 he would change your battery . So I asked the man and he said yes he would I gave him my number and address so he can meet me at my house. My car died again while I was running back in to buy the battery so instead of waiting till 3 he literally said wait here and he will change my battery on his lunch break he didn’t have to do that but he did I am so extremely grateful because he didn’t have to do any of this but he did. Five starS isn’t enough For what them two done for me if you guys have any issues those two be the best one to do the job they take good customer service to a whole other level!.

Asked for assistance with an issue with a fuse..The employee said we dont do fuses& walked away..Poor customers service. I stood around for 10 minuted before she even acknowledged I was in the shore.

Stood in line for ever while at least 3 other employees just walked around the store. One sat just looked around sitting there doing nothing.

My windscreen wiper had broken off in the icy weather and I needed a replacement quick! Took the remnants of it in to see if it could be repaired or to buy a replacement. The staff there really tried to fix my old one, and once we agreed it was too far gone, they quickly found me a new one and then helped me fit it (these new wipers are surprising fiddly!). Great service and reasonable price - thank you AutoZone!

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasnt for a worker coming up to us like no we was up to no good,asked if we needed help. We said not yet browsing but if you could give us prices on spark plugs for my friends car g5 that would be great. Did he do it, nope he said they can do that up front when your ready to pay for something and then he turned away and went outside !! Im afraid my experience wasnt great. There wasnt enough help up front to assist those waiting in line to make purchases. This, despite the fact there seemed to be plenty of employees there but just in the back doing other things. Forget about having anyone on the sales floor to answer a question. Thankfully a smart phone saved the day so I could get my own answer.

Had to replace my first ever headlight to burn out. YouTube made it seem simple enough. but the employee that rang me up made sure I did it correctly, it was on the drivers side of my crv so much smaller space to work in. So helpful!

Long wait times, 3 people all working up front and only one able to help. And even then when I do get helped it seems like the employees dont really know what theyre doing and they cant even find parts that their computer says are in stock. Idk it hasnt been great, im updating this review now the second time ive been here and gotten terrible service.

Had a terrible experience. Only one person working in the front and he was very helpful to the customer he was serving. We stopped in for a trailer hitch and some license plate screws, easy. Waited 10 minutes at the registers for no one to help us while there were three employees in the back on their phones who knew there were more customers in the store. After multiple Can anyone help us? requests we left.

Been taking advantage of their oil change deals for the last five years, buy the oil and oil filter advertised for the advertised price. If you want to upgrade the oil filter then pay the difference in the oil filter price. It says this right on the advertisement all over the store and they honored it last weekend for my Honda but today wont honor it for my Chrysler because I dont want the STP filter. You lost a long time customer today with your inability to follow whats written on your ads and been done this way since you arrived in KC.

Went in there to get a headlight for my vehicle. I approached the counter to get information about the headlight that I need for my vehicle. I was told by the associate that he really couldnt help me. It would be a whole lot easier if I would just bring in the headlight that needed to be replaced.

Customer service was far beyond the best. The manager got sick at work while placing my order and insisted we continue making my order in his time of tragedy. Ignore me and help her. That goes to say that there are alot of great people out here and hopefully I will make it to see my mother in the hospital after my part comes in. I lost one parent already, and hope to spend time with the other soon...
