The Top Shop truly lives up to its name as THE TOP Shop. They installed laminate countertops for us 10+ years ago and did a great job at the time. Over the years, our evil top-venting dishwasher ruined the underside of the countertop, warping the top of the counter. Scott came out to give us an estimate and The Top Shop was very patient as we took awhile to decide on a replacement laminate, then we ordered a new sink that arrived damaged. Once we were ready, Dennis and crew came out within a days notice and removed the old countertops and installed the new ones in two hours. We are extremely pleased with the result, and will highly recommend The Top Shop to everyone.

If you ever have your under-mount sink separate from the underside of your counter, all you need to do is call The Top Shop. They came out fast and did a great job of reattaching our sink and making it look better new again at a very fair price. They also clean up after themselves and are good people. It is great being able to use our kitchen sink again instead of our laundry sink.

I know the reviews say that Bill is grouchy, hes matter of fact, but a nice guy. Quick turnaround when I needed maintenace on an previous install. David did the work and he was very thorough and did a good job explaining things.

We were really happy years ago when we used them for laminate so we decided to have them give us a bid for granite. They never followed up with their written quote via email as promised so we chose to use Canyon Ranch Stone Company (wonderful choice). Thank goodness we didnt use Top Shop because our friends did and is a disaster!

Bill(the owner) was nice to come out on a Saturday and take our order, that was the only GOOD thing about the whole process. He brought the top when it was ready, installed it and immediately demanded his payment he did not even let me look at what he had just installed. Zero customer service. When the doors were hanged on the vanity it became obvious that the top was cut wrong! One one side it was the same level as the door, on the other side there was obvious overhang. It was not centered, there was a visible gap between the counter top and the wall. Bill blamed the walls being not straight. We asked him to fix the issue(many times) because when you pay close to $1500 for a custom vanity top you expect it to look right. He kept telling us that he would fix it next week but it never happened. So 2 months later we filed a dispute, our credit card company notified us that he promised to fix it within a week. It never happened!!! We ended up going with a different company and finally got our counter tops done! I would never recommend Bill Owens at the top shop, not only for lack of service and inability to fix his mistakes but also for disrespect that he showed to us all the way through the process. We have been very patient! It lasted almost 3 months.

Wow great service I had a excellent experience with the top shop Bill is straight with you and he will get the job done! The installers were very nice and neat about cleaning up the mess!

I will keep this short and sweet. I have no kitchen countertops, sink or plumbing in my kitchen. He tossed the old ones after doing the worst counter install I have ever had. Instead of doing a quality job and work with the customer, Bill would rather argue with you and refuse to do the job right. I told him to take his countertops, refund me my money and get out. Is there a option to give negative stars? Thanks for robbing me of my old kitchen and leaving me with nothing Bill. But I am not going to pay 3400 for bad work. If you are looking to get LG or Corian do not use this guy.

Bill with Top Shop did not communicate. He didnt finish the job properly. Then charged us more, made us wait weeks, then didnt keep track of the right piece needed, installed the wrong piece, blamed us for his not keeping records of his jobs, then noticed his error, removed the incorrect piece, didnt communicate again, we had to call him as its an investment property to learn he didnt complete the job. Then he said he will return our small check for the piece as its $200 for the piece he needs to complete the job and its not worth it. The he started name calling via text when asked where to order the part ourselves.

If you CAN get someone on the phone, you have to beg for information from them. Theres a major pattern of lateness that does NOT show a level of professionalism. After waiting three weeks AFTER he did measurements, I still did not have a copy of my quote, so I went elsewhere.

Bill (owner) came out to give us a BID. He was very pushy and smart with me.He called out of the blue three weeks later to inform me that he had the coutertop built at his shop, and ready to install. I proceeded to tell him that I had never authorized the job, and that I ONLY asked for an estimate bid.I then offered him the job (out of respect for his inconvenience) IF he agreed to match the lowest bid (which was only $200 cheaper). He the CUSSED ME OUT over the phone and said that he would cut up the countertop and throw it in the trash.Spare yourselves the headache and call someone else.
