I took my granddaughter to DHW Automotive on 05/20/2020 to look at vehicles, for her first car. We went and saw a Jeep, that she liked and realized it smelled of mildew and had MOLD EVERYWHERE. There was rust throughout the jeep and the head gasket had a leak in it. The brakes SCREAMED and when we spoke to Andre about it, he acted surprise saying that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. My husband is a mechanic and from the looks of Jeep, it is a flood damage vehicle and by law in NC you cannot sell a FLOOD DAMAGE VEHICLE, but this business is tried to do such anyways, BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Reasonable pricing & low down payment . However, was disappointed when ac compressor went out after two weeks and was told it had just been replace before leaving the lot. Yes! Thank you for fixing the power steering FREE of charge the day after purchase greatly appreciate. Thank you putting your customers first.

BUYERS BEWARE: Went and bought a car with a $1500 down payment, everything was great the first night. The next day the engine light came on & the TP light came on. Took it to Auto-zone, ran it & was told we need a new CATALYTIC CONVERTER. We went to Danny & questioned him, he just hooked it up to the reader and cleared the codes, which cuts off the engine light and TP light off; when we asked about the car originally we were told there wasn’t any issues with the vehicle. Now we’re in the process of getting this fixed with another mechanic shop. Personally advice, don’t shop there 🗣

I bought a car there a month ago & 2 days later the check engine came on; took the car to Danny and explained what the mechanic told us, and he said he’d “take a look at it”, and by that he meant clearing the check engine light & codes he pulled. After leaving him, the light comes back on only 5 minutes later. I proceeded to autozone to see what the problem was since he said “everything was good to go”. I have paperwork from autozone with all codes & also paperwork/receipts from where we had to have the catalytic converter replaced! All of these fees completely out of pocket after being told everything was fine during the purchase of the vehicle. There’s no reason i should be paying to replace nor fix anything after only having had the car for a month. Please don’t come for me on this situation, i have recorded conversations & ALL receipts regarding this matter. I have no reason to speak negatively on you nor your business besides the ones you’ve given me. I will warn all possible consumers to steer clear of purchasing ANYTHING from you and DHW automotive so that they are not left in the situation we’re currently in.

Danny is awesome, what you want to know is are the cars good, YES they are, I got a car from them last year and its running like it was when I got it, his prices cant be beat, he also worked with me when I was unemployed for a while, DHW is a great place to buy a vehicle.

I highly recommend dhw automotive if youre looking for a car Ive had nothing but great service from dan. My car has had no major issues for the almost year ive had it only thing thats happened is i had a cylinder misfire and needed a new door switch and he fixed both those problems pretty fast for free too which is a plus.
