We happened upon this flooring store by chance while out looking for new carpet, and I’m so glad we did! The owners, Steve and Brenda, were knowledgeable and helpful, but also very down to earth and it was such a pleasure working with them.We love our new carpet and feel as if we got a great product for a reasonable price.

Local, family-owned business in Shelby Ohio. They were extremely professional crew came in and did a wonderful job and did not leave until my wife was satisfied.

No reason to go back again. The work was shoddy. I spent thousands of dollars there and 3 of their mistakes had to be fixed the first month. They are nice and try to get the job done right, but they could improve in many ways.Customers shouldnt have to keep calling them to get repairs done. And customers shouldnt have to clean a layer of dust off of absolutely everything when the job is done.

I contacted Lewis floors for an estimate after receiving estimates from Empire Today and Home Depot. Even though the estimate was a couple hundred dollars higher, I decided to go with Lewis Floors due to the facts that they are a local business, they have been in business for a long time, and they have a great name! Less than a week from having my estimate, I have beautiful new flooring. The installers did a great job. I am very happy with the results. The only issue I had were a few times the owners were supposed to call me and did not. I would have to call again. Other than this lack of communication, everything was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lewis Floors.

Awesome people great service I will never go any where else

I can not believe how unprofessional Steve, the owner of Lewis Floors is. They were supposed to lay carpet in the stairwells of my facility and the corridors. The interior designer for my project has been doing this work for 20 years and ordered the carpet for the stairs and corridors. The way Steve and his crew cut the carpet made us not have enough to complete the stairwells. According to Steve, we didnt order enough carpet, but my interior designer disagrees. I then had a stairwell landing without carpet for 2 weeks, since they through the old carpet away. While Steves crew was installing the carpet in the stairwells, I caught them smoking in the doorway, which my guest loved the smell of. After they finished installing the stairwell carpet, they didnt clean up anything. They left razor blades and other carpet debris in the stairwells.The installation for the corridor carpet was very poor. The carpet has gaps in it where you can see the foam padding underneath because they didnt lay the pieces close enough to each other. I specifically showed them spots in the sub-floor that needed filled before they installed the carpet, which they said they would take care of and they didnt. I even told them my maintenance team can take care of it so you can focus on laying the carpet, but they said they would take care of it. Before the work for one hallway was completed, Steve came to me with an invoice and said Hey, sign this. I wish I was joking.Once Steve and his gang finished the hallway I inspected it and found the issues I listed previously. I decided that I didnt want Steve and his gang to install the other hallways so I told him and his response to me was, Go to Hell.I hope anyone who chooses to install carpet reads this before they make the same mistake I made.
