Absolutely delighted by the quality of my rug. Buying such an item on-line can be problematic, but this was a great experience. In addition to the fine product, but something showing a concern Stroud has for delivering just what a client wants, is their offer for samples. We are delighted with the 5’x8’ rug we received! The colors, the workmanship, and the homey look of it. We also appreciated the sample they sent, to see the actual colors and style before committing to a big rug. Our order arrived within a week, and looks perfect in Mom’s living room. It flattened out almost immediately, despite being folded for shipping. It’s thick enough to keep the floor warmer in winter, but not so thick as to be a tripping hazard. We used some double sided tape to make sure it can’t slide, but it is just what we wanted.

Excellent company to do business with. They generously sent me samples (twice!) and both the samples and the rug I eventually ordered came quickly. The rug was packaged in an environmentally friendly way, too, with no plastic but neatly wrapped in a cardboard box. It arrived perfectly and looks fantastic. Im about to order a second rug! This was a great experience from start to finish. From receiving samples to personalize service and consulting. I have ordered five rugs over the past month and am thrilled with each one. All came sooner than expected even when they were down to the wire for closing due to COVID 19. I ordered two wool (an 8 x10 and 4 x 6) and 3 Olefin. I originally ordered only a runner in the Olefin and was so pleasantly surprised with the look and feel that I ordered 2 more for the entry way. The Olefin samples do not do them justice. While the wool is more luxurious both by feel and look, the Olefin are very close. The Olefin are a bit darker when ordering the same color. I had ordered other small braided rugs to try before deciding on Stroud and there is no comparison in quality. Stroud rugs both look and feel better. My pics are of Brown Tweed and Oatmeal Camel (no band). Oh I also ordered the pad for the runner and that rug hasnt budged an inch. I couldnt justify the cost for all of the rugs since I already had pads, but if I need to replace them I will definitely get the Stroud pads.

Folks, Stroud is so very generous with sending out your free samples you cant go wrong with color choices. This large wool braided rug we bought and just laid down in the dining room is hands-down lovely! The shipping is free and it came in a sturdy cardboard box folded all up with the rug pad already underneath the rug. I was surprised at the size of the box as it was smaller than I thought. We bought a 9x12 foot rug. No muss - no fuss! It a high quality rug and I cant wait to get another one for our living room this year. I received my rugs today and they are beautiful. The burgundy color matches perfectly with the burgundy in my other rugs so I am thoroughly thrilled! They arrived much faster than expected and I appreciate being given detailed instructions as to the rugs care.

Rug was defective with yarns becoming undone after a couple of months wear. Contacted Stroud and after lots of communication, was told to RETURN RUGr for FULL REFUND. Paid $32 to return. Stroud contacted me and refused to accept it. Then I get the rug returned and now she says “they repaired my rug and “I have the rug so no refund due”. SO they basically lied to me.As long as you don’t have a problem, You might be OK buying from them but hope you don’t have a problem.

My rug just arrived and I couldnt be happier. It looks even better in person than it did online and the colors are gorgeous! I love my rug. It coordinates perfectly and covers a lot of the green tile floor in my 60s bathroom that I was attempting to cover. The padding keeps it securely in place and the quality craftsmanship is excellent. The free samples were also very helpful.

I have had my rug less than 2 years, and it is quite literally coming apart at the seams. I also bought the pad, and it was a good sized rug. I loved it when I first received it, but within a year it began to unravel. I am now with an expenive rug and pad I will need to put on the curb. I cant even donate it as it is such terrible shape and beyond repair.

I requested a rug sample from Stroud Braided Rugs, and it arrived promptly in my mailbox. It looked and felt good to me, so I ordered a small rug with a non-skid mat for the side of my bed. The rug and mat arrived promptly via FedEx. It looks fabulous, appears to be sturdy, and feels great when I get out of bed in the morning. The rug and mat arrived rolled, but they immediately flattened out. I was so pleased with the small rug that I ordered another small rug with mat for the other side of the bed and a large rug for the living room. This time the rugs and mat were folded into a big box, also from FedEx. They flattened out right away. They look and feel just like the first rug. Im sure theyll complement my home for years. If you are looking for a braided rug, there is no reason to look anywhere else. With all the options available for custom rugs, there is really no excuse not to purchase from Stroud. Quite honestly, if you were to buy from another company, you would be selling yourself short.

We are extremely happy with our purchase of the  braided rug from Stroud. We had just finished redecorating our bedroom and my wife wanted a rose colored rug for in front of the bed. We looked everywhere but nothing was to her liking. I found their website and showed her the selection of rugs they had and she picked the James River Rose rug.We requested a sample that was sent in 2 days which sealed the deal. We received the rug in about 7 days. The quality and workmanship is exceptional. We love the  olifin material. It looks and feels just like wool. We also like the fact that it is made in the USA and our purchase is from  a small US company and not some big box store whose products are mostly made in China. We will definitely purchase rugs from them in the future.

Quickly received the shipment of the small, matching braided rug. My living room looks awesome!!! Best decision I ever made. The rich shades contained in both the small and room-size braided rugs brings warmth to my living room. Will order the rug pads at a later date after the hardwood floors are installed.
