6 staff people all on their phones when I got there.Had been waiting since lunch for a message that my phone was ready.Called VERIZON Corp about 5 and they told me to go to the store,They had sent them the order twice and had not got any response.A worker greeted us and asked us if we were there to pick up a phone.We said yes, he walked to the back of the store and shortly came back out with the phone in a bag.
The young gentleman that assisted us was great! Had our issues resolved and out the door quickly!
I was having an issue with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Dropped calls, messaging problems, etc.. Triston and Sam fixed me up. It turns out, I just needed a new SIM card. I was in and out of the store in just a few minutes and the phone works better than ever. Great guys, great service !

Amazing customer service from James and Tristen today! My mother and I came to Verizon to get assistance with her new phone. She was switching from Android to IPhone and her Android phone had been lost. Tristen greeted us upon arrival and listened to our concerns/issues then paired us up with James who was able to get us up and running on the iPhone, recovered pictures, contacts, and other things from the lost phone. James was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We were blown away by the above and beyond service we experienced today. Five Star service with a smile!! By far the best customer service we have experienced in a long time!! Keep up the great work!
Horrible customer service on May 23, 2021. I have been a Verizon customer for 15 years and have always been very satisfied and happy with my Verizon service. The representative that waited on me was unfriendly, unprofessional, and totally unhelpful regarding the purpose of my visit to the store. This store formerly was very customer friendly, professional, and helpful, but that is not the case any longer! The representative that I had contact with was only interested in selling me the most expensive iPhone in the store. I will never visit the Shelby NC Verizon store again.

I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years. They have always been a 5 until now. My wife passed away December 31, 2020 and I have tried my best to get access to my account to no avail. Was told Saturday to come in Monday to the store and they could do it. Was not told to get an appointment. Frustrated. Problems have been resolved. Danielle gets a 5 for putting up with my frustration and fixing the problem. Verizon gets a 3, going automated calls keeps you in a vicious loop when you need to speak to a human.
The gentleman I worked with Tristan was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and very helpful.

My wife and I have been with them close to 20 years. They seem to be all about the money and really NOT about the customer. No matter how long you been with them you dont get a discount. I am a local trucker and i delivered to all their local stores and every store i went to they were NOT NICE TO ME,, Only one was nice to me, the rest acted like they didnt have the time a day for me and I was delivering their products to them. They were to busy. Online service is awful, wait, wait and wait some more. Only one thing I like about Verizon is their Samsung galaxy phones. They need to work on Customer Service, because it is slack. To me Customer Service should be first above all, so I give them a one star.
My girlfriend went to this store and was shopping for some new phone cases. One of the associate proceed to help her find some newer phone cases. As the associate was helping her he also completed her physical body multiple times and at the end of the transaction he asked her for her number. Making her feel even more uncomfortable and her leaving in a hurry. She felt like this was one of the most unprofessional retail experiences she has been through. Needless to say I don’t think she will be buying from this location anymore from this experience.
Ive been a customer for years but Verizon has changed. Their customer service is so poor that they have lost my business. Shop here at your own risk. Verizon is the shady car lot of cell phones.

WE GOT IT THROUGH THROUGH THE MAIL, WOULD NOT TOUCH IT TO SHOW US HOW TO PUT THE NEW CHIP IN IT. WE USED TO GO TO FOREST CITY TO THE VERIZON STORE THEREBUT- THEY CLOSED THAT ONE. REALLY HATE THAT. THERE WAS A REALLY NICE EMPLOYEE THERE NAME-KENNY.. WE REALLY ENJOYED GETTING TO SEE HIM. WISH WE STILL COULD. DONT RECCOMEND GOING TO THE VERIZON STORE IN SHELBY FOR ANYTHING. I always dread going to Verizon as the wait is often long. But today......it was worth it. Alex helped me and she is awesome. Great personality. Quick to help and solve my problems. Saved me money......didn’t have to offer me a better deal. I wasn’t there to buy anything. I had issues with my phone. A new replacement will be here the next day. No charge. She was eager to help, patient, great attitude and took time to help me. Did not rush! Go see Alex. She’s on top of it. Best service I’ve ever had! Thank you !!!!!
Went to Verizon on September 22 2020, had very bad experience. Was looking to transfer my phone plan from at&t to verizon, reception problems in some places that I would go in through at&t. Verizon only gave me a plan that only lasted for one month. Stated that I had a dummy phone did not know what that meant. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 they replenished my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S 10 . I guess thats where the problem came in at. Had never had a problem with my phone IMEI number untill I went to Verizon. I had to go back to AT&T. Had another phone network carrier even before AT&T did not have a problem except for a reception problem.

Two stars because when I first bought my phone here the staff was very helpful and nice. About a month ago I took my phone in to solve a problem I was having with continuous robocalls. Also to get my Apple ID to work. Spoke with a male employee after about a ten minute wait. No problems with the wait but I was very aggravated because I could not use my phone due to the continuous calls. I cannot remember his name. I explained the problems and he didnt seem to understand what I was saying so I told him again. He became very belligerent, accused me of being aggressive even though the only thing Id said was I was having problems with my phone and what they were. I was very nice and asked him to just start over with me because he said I would have a very long wait if I didnt let him help me. He did not fix the problem, I still cant get my Apple ID to work, and when I got home I looked at my Verizon account and found hed added services I already had, which raised my bill $37.00. Plus there was a $9.95 consultation fee. I guess he charged me for the privilege of being treated like scum. I called Verizon and was able to get these charges removed. I have never had any problems like this at any other business. Never. Ive never been treated this way by a customer service person either. If I need further service Ill go to another Verizon store.
This facility continues to practice safe social distancing... much to the dismay of some customers. I was helped with in 15 minutes and my service person solved my problem within 5 minutes. I was vey pleased.
Technicians are very helpful, not too long of a wait. Went to get my mom out of her contract. She has an illness that she wasnt able to remember how to use her phone any longer. They understood and very nice about it.
The staff at Shelby Verizon are always so helpful! Especially Alex Skelton she is always my go to girl when I need phone help or accessories for my Apple Watch and IPhone! I recommend her to anyone! Friendly staff and clean store
Well let’s see we suspended our device because we lost it and obviously I know we still have to pay for the device perfectly fine with that. But no after a month they want to charge service for the phone that WE DO NOT HAVE OR USE! I could even understand if we had to pay more for the phone to get it paid off but charging for service that’s not being used also on suspension is scamming for money! I don’t care how good the phone service is after there paid off will be switching.

After waiting for 15 minutes, which would have been fine however there were 3 staff members having a good time behind the counter we were finally greeted by an extremely rude lady by the name of Danielle, I am a veteran and have had 4 lines with Verizon for several years however after this experience I will take my business elsewhere.
I love going there especially when they remodeled. Its nice inside and the customer service. They acknowledge you when you come in. Love it. This Verizon is recommended.
Manager was at Cleveland County Fair and gave me a deal since I have been a loyal customer for so many years. Just $10 more a month. Good price for what they were offering. But when I got my bill it was way more than what he had said. I had asked him at the fair several times to make sure I would pay only $10 more. He assured me that it would be only $10. Went to the Verizon store and was told sinceI changed plans there was differences in the plan prices. Oh yeah, they also said they had not taken the $50 dollars off my bill as they should have. After taking the $50 off it was still more than they had promised. Way more because of differences in plans. So paid one time outrageous price. Next bill not $10 but $20 more a month. Went back to the Verizon store. They said they had thought it would be automatically drafted from my account and if I wanted to get it drafted from my account it would be the $10 they had promised instead of $20. Nothing had ever been mentioned about automatically drafting when offer was made. BEWARE!!!
I purchased a kids smart watch from the Shelby location and was helped out by Alexandra. Super fast and very helpful and she was very polite! Definitely recommend this store. They have great service.

I’m going to start by saying that there are two or three people in here that genuinely care and get the job done well. That being said, the rest of them are absolutely incompetent. I just paid $1300 for a phone and needed it overnighted as I was going on vacation two days later. The lady messed up the shipping and went with ups ground. I paid the money for overnight but got ground. That’s not okay. I also despise Verizon as a whole. They seem to care very little about their customers. I’m honestly sick of being pushed around by these companies. Verizon is not helpful at all, it takes an eternity to get customer service, and they are generally terrible at helping you resolve anything. The people in this store generally make you feel like you’re an i convenience to them. I despise this branch and this company and sincerely hope that they go bankrupt. They deserve it.
Hannah helped us today, and she was super helpful and funny! We only waited a few minutes even though there were about 6 people in front of us. Hannah took her time and answered every question we had and even calculated our payments and what we could save by doing a few things to save us some money.

My hubby and I went to purchase a new phone, and got tricked by an employer to open up 3 new lines which didn’t save me any money at all, it just helped her..... so we went in the next day to calculate everything and I luckily got Alex who works there! Everyone here is saying you have to wait a good long bit. Yeah... been here 2 hours waiting. If this is always the case why do they not hire more help? I already pay out the wazoo for service every month so Im pretty sure they can afford to hire a few more staff. Sorry that is unacceptable!

Store clerks were helpful. I have a complaint about the company as a whole. While deployed Verizon disconnected my number instead of temporarily suspending it as requested until I got back. When I returned to the states I had no way to communicate with family, and to add to this they sent my bill to collections and lowered my credit score. They admitted this was an error on their part, but are taking their time correcting their mistake. I had the number they disconnected for 10yrs or more. Work, military and personal use. I do not recommend Verizon to anyone they ate not military friendly. Until this I never had any issues but this is awful to come home to and deal with especially during the holidays. #thanks but no thanks Verizon!...not a way to show appreciation for those who serve your country so you can live comfortably in your office. Theres not an option to vote no stars on this.
Be prepared to wait if you visit this location but the people who work here are nice and dont rush you through when its your turn. Could use more chairs for those that are waiting - seating is very limited.Edit 12/2019 - make sure you check your bills carefully. I went into the store to get assistance with a problem. A sale rep named Danielle helped me and was completely clueless about my problem. Ended up having to just get a new number. While she was activating it for me, she signed me up for the protection plan without even asking me if I wanted it. I got an email immediately and asked her about it. She said I got it free for thirty days. As soon as I got home, I looked at my account online and saw I was being charged for it!

I cant understand why anyone would use this place. Everything is so overpriced. the salesman couldnt even Give Me One Reason why I should consider using this place over what Im already using. I have an awesome Motorola Gen 5 phone from Best Buy for two hundred bucks and I only pay $45 a month for unlimited talk and text via Straight Talk. They just cant touch this

This store is my favorite way to negotiate my bill and also find new fun tech toys. We just visited and picked up the UE Boom2 speaker. Every time I visit the store there are great products on sale that are fun to accentuate our devices!
Trying to contact Verizon Wireless local office or main office is impossible.The most rediculous robo call system I have ever encountered,and I have yet to see any that rate above 2 star.Would have given 0 stars if available.Totally would advise nobody to deal with Verizon by phone !

I dont know anyone who likes this store. It is usually packed and they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I could write a book. It was not like this when it first opened. There also seems to be a big turn over. I have had half a dozen different employees I would request, but they are all transferred, fired or quit after just requesting them once. I believe Verizon is working toward doing away with its brick and morter stores. They have stopped carrying anything except for new phones.
Alex always goes above and beyond to be sure you are getting the best deal on your plan and making sure all your products are working and even takes time on her days off to help you when you’re in need!!! She is the epitome of a wonderful staff member!

The employees in Shelby act like you are a burden in their store however Forrest City is the place to go for excellent customer service. I have never had a good experience in the Shelby store. I will drive the extra 30min to Forrest City.
