Worst service by far of any DQ Ive been too. Cashier was rude when asked to remake an order cause it was set on the pick up counter and touched by another customer. I can completely understand being frustrated from a rush of customers, but do not take it out on customers who nicely request something to be made when food hygiene factors the quality.

They were busy and had a few new employees but they did the best to get orders correct.

What a great hidden gem this place is. With the old school signs and neon lights atop of the building. Its clean and service was fast. Ice cream tasted perfect.Although on our visit at night none of the signs werent illuminated (this is why its a 4 star) and we almost missed it since its hidden behind a gas station. If youre looking for this place its in front of Kroger.Definitely worth a visit if youre into nostalgia

Couldnt make a Misty float properly

Was passing through town when I walked up next in line. The other window didn’t appear to be in use i stood patiently with my fiancé and baby in the car for him to get his food for someone else to walk up to the other window. The waitress took that order which I was okay with being skipped no biggie but then when another person got their food I finally got asked what I was waiting for and she told me they don’t order through that window when I was patiently waiting for 20 minutes already I was expected to just go behind four other people who just arrived. Beyond the worst ran place I’ve ever visited and especially the rudest.

I ordered a cake for my wifes bday online and got an email confirmation. I arrived and the place is boarded up and not open. I tried calling three times with no luck.

I very much prefer the old school walk up Dairy Queen locations such as this! It has that small-town U.S.A vibe going! The workers here are pleasant. As always, I appreciate happy people who enjoy their jobs! Thank you 😊😊

This is an old school style DQ its a walk up one with no indoor seating. I like this style better for some reason. The service was good and fast, food and shakes were good

It was wonderful the ice cream was frozen just right I had a large vanilla cone is small thats why I always get because I love it so I give it a five star plus they save my change I forgot my last visit I left my change and they were kind enough to save save me the change it was $10 to $12 give me so I appreciate that too

Average pricing for the brand. Service somewhat short and not friendly. Ice cream was already melty despite cool temps.

Their ice cream is always great. But this one needs to be updated. Chicken strip baskets at Dairy Queen are the best. Especially when you can get the 5 dollar deal where a sundae is included. SHELBYVILLE NEEDS A NEW DQ

They might have been busier than I have ever seen and the crew kept up, moving through the line quickly and efficiently. Other nearby restaurants could learn a thing or too from them. Good job! Great blizzard!

Our Dairy Queen might be smaller than most but it is wonderful! The service is always good and the food is always done to perfection. Not much in seating, and it is only outdoor seating, but still very worth it!

Were from out of town and wanted icecream. We came in off 74 after we googled for icecream. We were very excited until we pulled in and its closed. Very disappointed since the goggle site said it was open .Update your hours on Google so no one else is disappointed.

Yummy seasonal ice cream and burger shop in middle of town. This is a very old mom n pop type DQ thats been around a long time. Great ice cream for a decent price and good eats with sweet treats, ha! Closed during the off season.

Dairy queen is always great and we have an amazing little one that runs well. I love all the fundraising they do for the community and they have kept our cow going!! Its a tradition to get your photo with that cow!!

Its an outdoor dairy queen. You walk up to the window like the old days. Small seating area outside summer or winter. But the ice cream is delicious. Good blizzards.

Great place to have a refreshing snack in the summer heat.Minus 1 star because its outdoor seating ONLY.Its my opinion that a DQ that only serves COLD foods (another reason I subtracted 1 star) should have indoor seating to give added comfort to escaping the hot weather.It would add to their business as well because they wouldnt have to close down in chillier weather.

Great place for ice cream and snacks. Only bad part is no hamburgers. But the staff is super friendly and their treats are awesome

The staff here is amazing! They are very quick and accurate with the orders every time I visit! By far my favorite DQ! Just wish they were open year round.

They dont over achieve but they get the job done in a timely manner.

Whom ever invented the New York cheesecake blizzard was a culinary genius!

I watched an employee serving a blizzard drop it on the counter and it rolled. She picked it up and with bare hands wiped the ice cream off the top that touched the counter then licked her hand off. She served the fingered ice cream and began making more food with her licked hand.

Lady was nice, food was descent but i only got 1 strawberry out of a whole blizzard that was strawberry with the ghirardelli chocolate!!!

Wonderful outdoor version of DQ that has been around for quite sometime. The fact that its a smaller store that serves you at a walk-up outdoor window has its advantages and disadvatages. But Ive always felt it was much more positive as long as you know the limitations of this type of store.For one, you do wait in line outside, no drive through. Although the staff are usually a well oiled machine and prepare everything quickly. Youll notice they call this a Treats Only store, and while that isnt strictly true as there are savory foods available, the selection is much smaller than a traditional large DQ.Basically, go here in the summer for delicious ice cream, prepared right in front of you. Also of note, this place specifically still has chocolate soft serve, which Im told is hard to find at the large stores.
