My wife and I just left Curtiss Ryan Honda. We met our salesperson Joe and told him we have a ‘17 Honda Pilot and we were looking to upgrade to a new Pilot. We explained we came because they had great reviews.Joe found the one new Pilot they had and after we looked at it, we started asking questions about the price. Joe completely shuts us down and tells us his hands are tied and there is no negotiation. We asked if we could speak to a manager and he replied that that’s just what it is because of the low inventory. We again asked to speak to a sales manager and he agreed.He came back and told us after speaking to one of the owners, they could discount $300 on “this” and points at a sign. We asked what this was and he said -“this what’s on the sign”. All he did was pick up the sign and read it. He did not educate us on what it was or why getting a discount off of it is worthwhile.He said multiple times how his hands were tied and he did not make the experience personal at all by not even trying to build rapport.They (Joe and co-owner) expected us to just buy because of low inventory vs earning our business. I don’t know if there is just a lack of training or if it was because I was in sweatpants and a hoodie.Between the salesperson and the poor process they follow, I will not be back to Curtiss Ryan Honda . If I was on the leadership team with Honda, I would be disappointed and embarrassed to know my team represents the brand this way.

If you plan on purchasing a Honda at this location, ask for Christopher Mrijaj. This man is a true professional and gentleman. Probably one of the most genuine consultants I have ever worked with. He had a ton of patience throughout the entire process and helped both my brother and I secure the vehicle we both wanted during this chaotic time. They say it’s the hardest time in history to ever get a car, but Christopher made it easy.

I bought my car about two months ago and it had many problems. I still have small issues but they never advised me I could not add extended warranty to the car. They are a friendly staff but after you purchase the car and they make that sale, it’s as though you do not matter. I will be purchasing a new car in a few years but not from here. Honda of west port because I’ve heard great things. Do not recommend, only went because it was near my house.

Long time customer. On a Saturday I had a minor emergency. Brake lights out and my 23 old son leaving for his first trip going to NY in an hour. On a busy Saturday, the service technician (forgot to get his name..Mike?) on the desk personally came out to my car and did the repair on the spot. No charge.. just $11 for a couple of bulbs.. I recently brought my Pilot here to have a brake issue corrected and to diagnose and correct a transmission problem. They had the vehicle for 7 hours and I hadn’t heard anything. I finally called to get status. The lady who answered the phone was curt and sent me to a voicemail. I called again and they told me that the car had been assessed and gave me the options for the brakes and said they could not reproduce my transmission issue. I don’t understand why they had not yet called me to supply this information considering they were closing in an hour and a half. I told them that I would have been happy to come in to help recreate the transmission issue but he said they “wouldn’t have had time to do that”. I called 2 days later to speak with the service manager and was sent to a voicemail that was full. I left a message with a receptionist and have not heard anything. I don’t know how this dealer receives such high customer service marks because I have not dealt with anyone here that has offered anything but mediocre service and quite frankly is the exact reason I don’t go to dealers if I can avoid it. I will not go back to Curtis Ryan.
