Very unfriendly girl at the front counter. Drove from Tenino to buy work boots and pants. Online hours say open till 7pm. Got there at 5:55pm and was told they close in 5 minutes. My husband said you need to update Google and she said well its been like this since covid and so almost 2 years now..very rude. You would think that in the 2 years you would have had time to change your hours online. Very disappointed with the attitude we got. They lost out on our business and we will never be back.

It may suit this business to understand the demographics and who would generally shop at a store like this one. I go through a minimum of 4 pairs of boots per year for work. Danner is all I purchase, as well as carhart work clothing. Id prefer to support and buy local but I will not support this outfit in any way. As a business if you do not agree and support the population within your small town that is on you. Ask and you shall receive. If anyone else asks about this store, Id tell them anywhere but here.

Cool store! Hidden gem in Shelton. Excellent resource for Carhartt, Grundens, work gear and supply. Picked up a new knife after accidently coming across this store. Dont live in the area but will be back next time Im through.

Got some rain boots for my daughter here not alot to chose from in the kids section but like what we got. Seen alot of stuff for adults men and women rain gear, work gear, boots, pants and socks.

My first visit but I really liked the store, A really nice selection of boots/shoes and alot of other work wear. I will definitely be going back.

I am blown away by the inventory of great clothes, shoes, inclement weather gear, and great gifts. It is so cool to have this selection of great PNW gear without having to go to the big city.

Spend money in here all the time, spent 250 today even after being made to feel like the boots my mom wore in were stolen, mind you there were bought there a couple months ago. Poor service and attitude on your employees part, also if I find out we were photographed while on there further action will be taken

The store is very clean. There is no floor help and the staff at the register are polite enough but not very engaged. They have a very good selection of work clothes, hunting clothes for both men, women and children. They also have a huge selection of shoes for men, women and children, from galoshes, tennis shoes to dress shoes. The prices are not to bad but a little higher than your Walmart and other box stores. They always have plenty of parking, including handicap spaces.

To pricey....went in for a safety vest and a safety coat for my husband only to be waved off into a general idea of where they were at in the store. The counter clerk was no help and when I did find them the prices were outrageous. I try to shop local and support small businesses but I went to olympia and found what was needed for a way better price.

Was a 5 star review......But today while spending $250 an employee says to me, are those our boots? Well I bought them here, when, before Christmas. Well they look like ours!They were theirs before I paid $167.97 for them, I dont like the way I was treated. She then took out her phone and I believe took pics of us and our vehicle!As a Patriot I want to support local businesses, but this employee was clearly triggered by my daughters mask, with a political statement displayed. I can do business in places where snowflakes arent offended!

This store is an outdoor workers dream. I get most of my safety and wet weather gear here. They have a variety of high quality brands and the sales are great. They have something for everyone in the family.

Wife bought me a knife here, I tried to exchange it for a different one. The lady was extremely rude and made a scene in front of my son. She wouldnt exchange the knife and tried taking it from me when she got frustrated. Avoid this place...

There are some good prices available here and they are conveniently located off of Hwy 3.

Great place gadgets n things

Needed some urgent hiking shoes and they had some. Nice staff and good selection. Only issue is it was a bit away from the trailhead.

From what I could see, it is just a generic outdoor equipment store. Not a dollar store but no high end stuff that I could see either. I was not allowed to walk thru the store with my backpack on. I dont patronize those businesses that dont trust me. Nothing bad to say about them, its just a practice for me.

They have good casual clothes and boots for those living in the wet PNW.

Arrived at this store and even before we could get through the door we were greeted with We close in 10 minutes, like they didnt even want us to walk in. At this point I made up my mind that I would never buy anything in this store, talk about piss poor customer service. The entire time we looked around they seemed annoyed that we were in there. My father was looking to purchase a new pair of hunting boots and asked if they had a certain style, the young man said they didnt, but when I looked in the boot section I noticed they had several pairs of Danners and other brands like my father had asked about, the kid just did not want to help him, told us to come back and look around when we had more time. Needless to say I will never step foot in this place again, I try to support the local shops, and I will be sure to tell anybody who wants to know about my experience with Shelton outfitters.

Linda had a cranky customer and handled it beautifully, although he felt differently about her for a moment, he calmed down and checked out with ease.Theres a huge selection of work/durable clothing, shoes, boots, even stuff for the kids. Great hunting clothes, as well! I hope Shelton outfitters are here to stay! With Walmarts legally binding agreement with Fred Meyer, the Shelton outfitters is one of the only places to go for new clothes in Shelton. Support your local stores!Theyre return policy is the only reason I dont give 5 stars, although I do understand they cant have worn shoes and clothes returned and that is why their return policy is so strict.
