They were confused when my husband tried to pay for formula with WIC and declined him. How can walmart not accept WIC?

What a HORRIBLE experience in this Walmart they do not serve with professionalism I asked the guy from the Electronics area for the Craf Department for help and an Associate never came to top it off a wait for a Cashier to charge you OMG

Pretty much in and out, which was surprising. Usually this place is packed and bustling. Loved the experience.

This is my go to store when I need a quick pick up. Store is clean, organized and fully stocked. The checkout lines can get a little crazy but what do you expect from a well knitted store that has all the things needed. Like I said, this is my go to store.

Its WalMart, what can I say, that people dont already know. They have it all, but service could be a little quicker at check stand, but over all a good experience. Companies need to pay there staff a better wage. Especially a company that pulls in the profits WalMart does. Share the wealth.

Why did they move pick up for online pick up like door dash to the back of the store? It used to be next to customer service which is so convenient coz we door dash drivers are being timed and to have us walk to back of the store is a waste of time. I had 5 orders which were different places so I was late for the drop off .Please please move online or mobile pick up back near customer service pls.

Today I was in this store, and notice the amount of irresponsible people walking inside this location without a mask, I ask to speak to the store manager of the shift, and some Spanish short guy, comes up to me and ask how can I help you? I ask him why are so many people in his store walking around without a mask including some of their employees, while there’s a law mandatory in the state of CT for everyone to wear a damn mask in public places, he goes on to saying (that they can’t obligated no one to wear the mask, well you know I ask everyone to wear one but, what can I do ) First off there’s is no one in the front of the store asking no one anything, he’s attitude was of I can careless, even when I pointed out your risking everyone’s life’s that shop here including your employees. Still he just raised his arms up like he can’t do anything, and he wasn’t going to do anything. I did report them to headquarters, as well as to the state health department. Try to avoid this location while possible, especially on the weekends when it’s so crowded.

Basic small Walmart. Limited on grocery items.

Found everything I needed. Childrens books had a great selection

So much better than the Danbury store.It seems there is more knowledgeable help in this store.It was very clean and organized. I found what I needed when I asked an associate working in an other department .They were out of a product that I specifically came for though.Otherwise 5 stars.

So the pictures of this store are deceptive. It is NOT a supercenter with groceries. Pictures clearly show it is.

I mean, its Walmart. You know what youre walking into, no surprises. If you need something asap and want to save a few bucks, Walmart is basically the place everybody goes. I personally like this location as they are very friendly, clean, and never out of stock.

Was quickly in and out once I found a staff person to help reach a product that was over my head.

Who doesnt like Walmart? Ive never dealt with unfriendly staff either. Everyone is helpful. The Shelton location is one of the friendlier locations, my opinion

For what its worth, Im satisfied with this WalMart. The employees based on the time of day are usually nice. The prices are always good and on top of it all subway is in the store as well. Love it all!

Love this place, it can be hard to find someone to help you at times, but when you do they are helpful. They sell everything here so its such an amazing one stop shop.

Not the best Walmart Ive been to. Messy stock, not much help around and not a lot of choices of the items I needed.Good fishing supplies.

This is the worse Walmart I have ever been too. I havent seen a walmart not be a supercenter in 18 years. This place is in need of a major renovation. This also includes the staff. The greeter Ellen yelled at me to enter on the other side. Mind you I was walking in that direction to enter the store. The lines are super long and the self checkout is too small. I recently moved into this area and I have been to this location three times. It gets worse everytime. The shelves have very little to no stock. Things are also not in designated spots. The freezer and cooler area need to be organzed.

Said online they had a bike and it was marked down. Said 2 left in stock and in-store purchase only. This was the only store in the state that had any left. I drove 40min and they had nothing, only to be told that Walmart dot com has not been right in years.

Its a Walmart, exactly what you expect, with the added bonus of very friendly staff. Only con was all the clothes were sold out except for Extra Smalls & Smalls lol. RIP us bigger girls I guess.

I only gave this place 3 stars because Everytime I go here the lines are incredibly long, they only have two regular registers open and the rest is self check out. Theres only 6 self check out registers. The entire time Im in a long line waiting I hear other customers complain the whole time about how Walmart is lazy and doesnt want to hire more people. Its kind of a mood killer to listen to all the unnecessary complaining about the lines. Walmart happens to be way better with pricing than other places that I will leave unnamed for review purposes but I happen to like products that Walmart offers

Usually find what I need to buy. Need more cashiers though and some new electric carts for handicapped patrons. My friend sometimes cant get one or the batteries are dead or die in the middle of the store.

All Walmart stores are not the same. This is one of the better stores in the area.

Very organize, not as pack as other Walmarts, very clean store with helpfully staff. They have a decent size grocery section and a very good camping section. First Walmart I have been to where help is always there. Thank you this a very good Walmart to visit I recommend it. Have fun shopping.

This is a decent Walmart Not a Super Walmart but they do have a fair size food section with freezers ...

Whats not to like about Walmart? Everything you need under one roof! Grab your groceries. Need a gift? House need a coat of paint? LOL 😆Always the go to place! They greet you when you come in and thank you when you leave! Yay Walmart!

Its a standard Wal Mart; not sure what else to say? Large selection in every major department, generally lower-quality brands (clothes come to mind especially), reasonable prices but not as reasonable as they would have you believe

Found what I went for then right out. It seems they had an associate at the door keeping the crowd control down to the minimum yet once inside it seemed maxed 😳. Great customer service @self check out👍😷

Place order online and pick my order up at store by way of curbside service my order was bought out within minutes I love the service, would definitely recommend it to my friends ifyour busy like me and cant go in the store curbside is the way to go!

Walmart need to stop display when the its no longer in stock. Customer service is poor.... waiting 20-30 minutes for assistance at certain areas is just unbecoming! (eg. Perfume and paint areas) in general there are no floor person to ask questions.

I enjoy Coming to this location, but the lines are just way too long, and not enough cashiers on staff. However the department associates are always friendly, and the place is always well organized. This location is definitely better than Stratford.

Boy nothing is more sobering and nauseating as a trip to the local Walmart and watching my fellow Americans shuffle about through an overly heated store gladly giving away their hard earned money for poorly made products that probably originated from China in the first place. Why am I here supporting this dreadful company? Good question, Im not shopping here anymore, Im tired of stores like this wiping out our smaller mom& pop stores!! Its only going to change if we all say something and stand in solidarity and stop supporting these corporate monsters that are destroying the fabric of our society and limiting our choices to feed their future takeover of other markets and other towns.

Shelton Walmart Store is one of the best ive ever been. The people are so much maticulous, respectfuly, playful, patient and most of all very helpful. I travel from Stratford to Shelton all for the service and getting my items in Shelton is so much easier. I will recommend friends and family going over there to shop.

Products are good and cost efficient and delivery is fast

It took 45 minutes to check out of this store, I tried calling store management to ask for additional help for the cashiers but I was hung up once, ignored twice and left on hold indefinitely. I’ll never shop at Walmart again due to this issue, but was forced to this time due to circumstances. I will never go to another Walmart again, I don’t care if I have to pay double for slightly better service.

Was pretty crowded this time I went shopping, but I love the options and prices. They have a bit of all your wants and needs. Whether you want or need Arts/crafts, toys for the kids, books, teaching/learning necessities, any computer equipment, TVs, hardware, gardening equipment/supplies, grills/out door needs, furniture, food, cleaning, wellbeing/pharmaceuticals at their pharmacy, toiletries, and groceries Walmart has it.

They need to come out the dark ages! The busiest retailer and their checkoutCan be greatly improved! How about opening up ALL registers and stop penny pinching! Ridiculous. May I suggest scanning the customers on the crowded lines and completing the sale ON the line? Eliminate the incredible amount of WASTED time. Consumers waste enough time in their lives just WAITING. ITS time for a change, dont ya think?

Walmarts order online / pick up in store is truly a terrific option minimizing your time in the store and therefore exposure to potential virus sources. Unfortunately, I arrived at 8:00 a.m, store opening time, and the folks in the pickup area had a problem with access to their scanners and equipment required to process online orders. There was a line formed of about five people also waiting behind me and they ultimately resolved the issue about 8:10 a.m. and began processing the orders. So the only complaint I have is with a local staff not the service itself. This is a reoccurring problem at my local store in Shelton Connecticut as at least half the time I head over to pick up my orders, even with the advanced notice that I provide through the app that Im in the store or on my way, theres often no one available to assist at the pickup location. This time the people were available but they didnt have access to the equipment they needed to scan my orders barcode on my phone. If you notice in the photo, it was about 8:10 AM and the young lady was just opening the container with the the equipment and scanner as she finally did gain access. No one apologized for the delay or offered any reason or explanation except to say Youre going to have to give us some more time. They must have said that four or five times during the wait with no further explanation.

So understaffed and staff is undertrained. Checkout lines are insane clearly no real management.

For some reason WalMart only sells children bikes. No 26 bikes. Ive been drinking from Bridgeport, CT. to their Startford, and Shelton stores every week for the last 2 months and neither have had any 26 bike. Im tired of wasting my time, i wont be going back to either store looking for a bike or anything else. 😖

This store has a much better variety if craft supplies and clothing. The location is very clean and usually quiet. The lines, however, have been beyond long lately and for some odd reason they do not open more registers.... overall a great location if you dont mind long check outs 😊

This one is good. The one in Stratford sucks. Location location location. Overheard a patron, at Stratford, complain about how they lock some products up. Although, Not a mention of complain as to what/who, lead to them to have to do that.

Always a great pleasure to shop at this Walmart here in Shelton where Ms. Ellen always greets you with the most beautiful smile ever as u walk in and as you leave. Every worker here is helpful and friendly

I rarely shop at Walmart. But, a particular brand of cat food seemed to be available only at this chain. Since there were long lines at the checkout, I decided to do a bit more shopping in order to make the wait worthwhile. I found some needed items in their Pharmacy section, Grocery section, Automotive section, and Bath section. By the time I got to the checkout, the crowd has dissipated and I made it through quickly. BTW, bring your track shoes, this place is enormous.

Very tiny parking lot for a walmart .needed 3 things and waited over an hour in line.had 3 cashiers opened on a Sunday at 130. 3 cashiers lines where all the way down the isle. Picture of where I waited for one hour! Never again going to this walmart in Shelton CT...
