Really great team here in Sherman. I was looking for a specific car and had been told at other Kia dealerships in Frisco that they could get the car, but at 7k$ more than here. They not only had my car, but priced as per their website, no strange mark up pricing because of shortage of cars. Knew I was in a hurry - sold me the car - did a trade and got me out quickly. We had an incredible experience with Matt Orr at Bob Utter Kia. I called from out of state to see if they had what I wanted in stock and he was so kind and answered all my questions over the phone. Then when we drove 3 hours to the dealership everything was ready for us. Matt was so friendly and helpful. It felt like you were buying a car from an old friend rather than a pushy salesperson. He was so patient with us while my husband and I juggled our small kids, we never felt rushed or pressured about anything.One thing I truly appreciated about Matt, is that he included me (a woman) in all the decision making. Other dealerships would kind of treat me as an afterthought, and only really talk to my husband and would direct everything to him (even though it was my car I was purchasing). Matt made our buying experience a breeze.Everyone at Bob Utter was so friendly! We chatted with everyone like we were friends while we waited on different things. They were so sweet to our kids. It was just such a comfortable environment. I cant say enough good things about this place! Thank you!!
Extreme low balling on trade in, raising MSRP on vehicle, and salesman had a bit of an attitude. Was looking at a Kia Stinger at Bob Utter. The salesman we talked to was in the Ford building trying to sell a Kia. Bad review for both because of the shady practice at the Ford location and raising sticker price to make it seem like a better deal on the Kia side. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Also outside financing not allowed. You have to take their high interest rate offer.
The only option to buy a new vehicle is to finance through Bob Utter. They will not accept outside financing or cash. This was not a miscommunication, it was clearly stated several times. The reason was because they are a small dealership they dont make money if they allow customers to use their own financing.
Overall poor experience on more than one occasion with the service department and disappointment in our Kia vehicle. We purchased a 2017 Sportage new from Bob Utter. Our first issue was with a door latch while the car was under the full warranty. We had a 9:30am appointment for the repair and were assured that it would not take long. The car was not taken in to a service bay until 11:30. We did not get finished until after 3:00pm. We were not offered a courtesy vehicle. Within a couple of months another door latch failed, along with a window motor and front hub assembly. The vehicle was also flashing an airbag system fault code. All at under 65,000 miles and no accidents. We scheduled another appointment to leave the car, we requested a courtesy vehicle but were told one was not available. After 3 weeks, 3 trips to the dealership, and 2 attempts at ordering a replacement airbag they could not conclude what was causing the airbag system fault, which of course was not covered by warranty. So long story short we were left with a vehicle to drive that may or may not have functioning airbags. Nothing personal against their staff but every interaction we have had with the service department has left us with more questions than answers and more hassle than it was worth to keep our car.
Just wanted to make a comment about this dealership at Bob Utter, I went to pick up my new car early saturday morning I got their at 8am and was done at 8:40 it was quick and easy if you have all your information in order and Mike Mounce was a wonderful person and the internet depart I do not want to leave them out, that person name is Collett, just want to say thanks to everyone their.

I went there to buy a new Kia Stinger. Jane had the car ready for me to test drive when I arrived. I had asked to test drive 3 cars and she gave my husband and I the keys and let us take them for a drive. I decided on the Stinger GT1. We got amazing deal and the process was easy. She never pressured us to buy. Chris in finance was also great and didnt try to sell us anything extra. Finally, Danny walked through how to operate everything in the car. It was a great buying experience.

Had Intake issues with my vehicle .The service department was very professional and made sure everything was taken care of under warranty so I wouldnt have to pay nothing out of pocket. Extremely friendly environment and they have free cappuccino you can enjoy while you wait for your vehicle to get fixed.
Saw a car online I was interested in. Called and spoke with Kathy who verified car was still on their lot. Met with Kathy when I got there. From the start she was very friendly, easy to talk to, and non pressuring. Whole process was quicker than most dealers. Finance person, I forget his name, was also friendly, answered all my questions fully and patiently. They also gave me more for my trade than I was expecting. Any other dealer would have offered at least $1000 less than Bob Utter Kias offer. I say that with confidence as just 5 months ago they bought a vehicle from me, without me making a purchase, and actually gave me what is was truly worth. If youre in the market, its definitely worth a trip to Bob Utter.

I cant say enough great things about the staff in the service department here!!! I got a flat tire on the way to a weekend of camping with my girl scouts, and lucky for me we were relatively close to Bob Utter Kia. The tow truck came pretty quickly, and it was like having my own pit crew in the service department here. Everyone I met was so kind. Its actually tempting to drive up here from Dallas for my routine maintenance, they were so helpful and knowledgeable.The only bad thing I can say about this experience with Bob Utter Kia is that I think all those girl scouts may now have unrealistic expectations! Theyre never going to see speed/service/kindness elsewhere like we experienced here. We even made it to camp in plenty of time to enjoy a campfire that night :)

Roy and the rest of the staff fixed us up in a matter of minutes after finding the problem and we were off to Houston. They are amazing!!!!
Took my car in to be serviced. They had it for over 48 hours before giving me a loaner vehicle to drive. Once I finally didn’t have to wonder how I was going to get to work my car was ready the next day.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience using Bob Utter’s Service Department.I made an appointment and took my van in for some warranty work. I was told by rep Jason W. I would get an estimate by the end of the day. I did not get a call back so I called the next day around noon. I was told that the mechanic who was working on my van was out to lunch but that my van was next to be worked on and they were running behind schedule. I was again promised a call by end of business. Again, no call back so I called in at lunch time on day 3. I was told nothing had been done on my van so I told the rep that I would be in later that day to pick up my van. The rep gave me loads of excuses for the delay. When I went to pick up my van, they had miraculously gotten some of the work done and ordered parts for the remaining work.Since I had already been without my van for days I took it home and I brought the van back when the parts arrived. When I came back I asked the rep to note the huge piece of plastic sticking out from the bottom of the van. He said they would take care of that while they were putting in new parts.When I returned the next day, the original work had been done but the plastic was still hanging. The service rider said he would tack it in place even though it was clearly torn. I didn’t get any paperwork because the tech “was still working on his paperwork but it will be mailed to you when he’s done” ???I didn’t want to bother having them try and fix the plastic and risk going through that mess again.A month later I realized I’d never received paperwork on the repairs. I went and they printed out a preliminary invoice because “the tech hadn’t closed out the ticket. He holds on to it until he has several and then submits them so he can get a good sized check”.I have no idea what he meant by that but you can be sure I will not take my vehicles there ever again. Their lack of communication and abundance of excuses cost them another customer.

Farron, a dealer there stated it was not his job to help me with my problem. Never going back to this dealership. Very disappointed, wish I had never bought a vehicle here.
I bought a Ford F-150 from these guys. They were really helpful. They drove to Frisco to get the paperwork signed and get the title for my trade in. They mailed me my tags when they came in. I recommend this place and I would buy another car from them in the future.

Jason Weaver charged 1500.00 to replace belts, shocks, passenger mirror, and fix ac shrader valves. When I got vehicle back my belts were squealing extremely loudly. My dad and sister pop hood to see why all of a sudden my belts are squealing, as they hadn’t before taking it to Kia. Well as you can see in pics posted a bolt was missing. Also, alternator pin was broken. The master mechanic stated that he would have replaced the bolt had he seen it while working on it. This bolt was missing on the belt adjustment assembly. He did work on it to tighten belts, if he replaced them all three. Now I am having to find someone else to fix the fact that the belt put on it is too big and can’t be tightened. After them having it for a week. And making a 9 am appointment that never happened because he didn’t get to my vehicle until 4:30 pm that day. And I had to drive an hour for that appointment. Never again. When I called to inform him about squealing and belt, and bolt he denied ever having a vehicle come back due to mechanic fault. So he would have to diagnose this again for 95.00 and no telling how long.
I had a few questions about the Kia Sedona. The salesman asked me a lot of qualifying questions, gave very straightforward answers to my inquiries, made several suggestions. I had read some unflattering reviews about the place, and I have no idea why. The salesman was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and courteous. If I finally decide on a Sedona, I will be going back there.

I want to start by saying this dealership and the staff are amazing. And then tell you a small story. I have spent the last three weeks looking for a car for my son. We set a budget, did our research, and called around. It was at this point that I got to witness the worst of people. Dealership after dealership was nothing but a nightmare. But, I had seen this Kia at Bob Utter and decided I would give them a call. Mike answered the phone. We had an honest adult conversation. No hard sell. No gimmicks. Just a real straight shooter. I gave an offer. Ten minutes later he called back. After a bit more discussion, he called one more time to say it had been accepted. It was that easy. Keep in mind, I am in Austin and this dealership is in Sherman. Mike immediately began the process to get me pictures of the car and information.My son and I made the drive from Austin to go pick up this car. We showed up early as we had a long drive back. The car was amazing...nothing short of amazing. It had low miles, certified, and was in pristine shape. I dare say Mike was modest in his description of it. Paperwork was ready for us when we got there. We signed our documents. Done.He then proceeded to demonstrate features of the car. He had it washed. He was even kind enough to fill it up with gas for our drive home. At no point was he anything but kind and helpful. There is a small-town friendly manner to him and he was just as easy going as can be.The dealership is part of a bigger group of Ford-Lincoln. But, I can say that my experience with Bob Utter Kia was beyond my expectations. Mike kept his word (a rarity in the car business from what I have seen). Honor is important to me. A persons word is more important than a business practice of maximize the dollar. We live in a real world where businesses have to make money. But, Bob Utters folks cared. Gassed it up. Washed it. Treated us extremely well. No one pushy. All the staff we met were just on point.I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Mike and Bob Utter Kia for my sons car. We are grateful to you for it!

This is literally the only Kia dealership that offered to sell me the car I found on their website for the price listed on their website!!! Of course I paid the added or as I would call them the hidden fees. These fees are listed as tint, and door edge guards with a document fee the total for this is about $500 and is added to every purchase.
My wife and I had decided to get another vehicle for us. We had gone to many dealerships and they where either to high priced or didnt show any ambition to even help us look. Service is words only. Poor performance and dishonest. My words of advice is to take the time to take pictures of your vehicle before letting them work on it. Once they break your fender mount and bra clip they will accuse you of bringing it in like that. If they misthread the oil plug they will deny it, let the oil drip out, its ok. Now they want to pretend the newly opened building for the quick lane service is a seperate entity so they can run you between them and both deny responsibility. Never going back.
Terrible service. Gave them credit and I had to chase the salesman. Then was given a lie about leasing. A manager emailed me and I emailed back and got back with me. Just terrible.
Service is horrendous. My wife also had had service at Bob Utter on Texoma Pky --- she has 100% stated she will NEVER AGAIN use Bob Utter for service, nor purchase her next new car there...As for me, I did purchase from this location.... It was poorly managed from the start. There is very low comraderie amongst the folks that interacted with me. The service after the sale is one wrong move followed by another. The 1st oil change resulted in a cross-thread of the drain plug. Oil dripped. Gasket was torn. Service person 1st said the misthreaded plug was NOT DAMMAGED. 2nd look and then said, oil pan is much harder material sooooo it was NOT dammaged -- but the bolt would be replaced.*** Quick lube people have low opinion of the primary service people. I could see that without being told. ... ...My wife and I agree totally on the poor service and low moral .... We also agree on the cause ---- The manager has a negative impact on his subordinates. The result being a group that is clearly not cohesive or caring of eachother, and its visible to the customer.3 service visits, all disappointing.*** I love my car, but I wish I had purchased it elsewhere.

I made a appointment for a service i had a warranty extension letter from kia motors that clearly said the service would be free it turns out that my car had a salvage tidle so the warranty is gone i really wish that they would have check that before i hauld it all the way over there from lamar county that was a very long trip for nothing next time check it before you make in appointment stop wasting people,s time and money i had ben there before with a letter like that and everything worked out great this time they were really mean about it

We just purchased a 2017 kia sportage and went out of town about an hour an a half on the road the a/c stopped so after another 5 hours of hot we made our destination so we set up appt with bob utter kia dropped off wed morn and they tell me Friday that they dont have machine to fix it so for three days they couldnt send it 40 miles away to McKinney tx. Where a machine was available? Shame on yall just because I didnt purchase it there they could have done there job! And they didnt even offer a loner just said if you need it just come get it. Wouldnt recommend this dealer if I could give negative stars I would

I flew down from iowa to buy one of their tow trucks, It needed more repairs than the asking price. The controls were seized up for the boom, The cables were so rusty they were ready to break, and the wheel lift poured hydraulic fluid out of the main cylinder faster than you could add it. There is no way this truck was ready for any kind of work and there is no way they use it everyday. They flat out lied and misrepresented this truck and two months later they still have it listed, and when i called they said the same lies as before. Im out over 1500. in travel and rental car expenses. The worst part is that the salesman knew that i was coming down with my 16 year old daughter.... thankfully we found a rental car. I would not trust the people there.

I took my minivan to them and they said I needed a lot of work about $1400 worth. The brakes $350 still had about 50% of its life left when my husband changed them. The back doors $568 only needed a new bezel $215 for parts and ten minutes to snap it in.They tore the thing out of my ceiling and left it that way charging me $80 for the diagnosis. And I think they stole my GPS out of the floor while they had it. I will not ever go back there,

Adding $1,000 to each vehicle and calling it a market value adjustment is one thing. But offering me 6,000 below black back book (yes 6,000 below BLACK book) on my trade is an excellent way to not retain my business. You lost what wouldve been a repeat buyer for good.
