I usually shop with Discount Tires but Frank at Mavis Tires offered me a better quote and tire. James was professional and courteous and the staff worked quickly to get me in and out as soon as possible. There was a Marianos nearby so I did a little shopping while I waited, then sat in the spacious lobby at Mavis for the remainder of my time. Ill be returning in about 50k miles 😄

So far not a good experience, called Monday before I went in to verify they had tires, which they said they did. Showed up and unfortunately they did not. Ordered them for Wednesday called 3 times to verify if they received them they said they didnt. Called Thursday they said they received them but now cant get me in till Friday or Sunday. If your in need of tires right away I would not recommend them only spoke to one employee that didnt give me a run around. Will update when I finally get my tires.UPDATE 11 01So dropped it off Saturday after hours was told would be done Sunday CALLED SUNDAY WHEN I GOT OFF WORK. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW I DROPPED THE CAR OFF. WAS TOLD WOULD BE ANOTHER DAY. GREAT. LOST 2 DAYS OF WORK FOR A JOB THAT TAKES NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS. Finally got the car back today so after going in last Monday and Finally getting it all done after dropping the car off Saturday night.Also why would the alignment tech not be coming in till 3pm. When you close at 5 6. Do not go

Mavis in Shorewood is fantastic. Its the only place I take my car. Recently I needed a new battery and dropped my car off, I accidentally took my keys with me and the manager offered to come pick up the keys from me. That is what I call great customer service! Thank you Mavis for always being so great!!!!

Joel was the best manager to deal with. He gave me a time to come in for a patch for my tire and got me in early. They checked my tire and realized the nail did not puncture it. He checked this free of charge. I fully recommend speaking with him, he is a great manager. I will definitely be coming back. He was very personable, very knowledgeable and very honest. I watched him do the research on his phone to help a customer find a reputable muffler repair shop in the area since they dont do that at Mavis. Very respectable!!. Avoid if possible! The manager, Rick would not give my daughter her keys back to her car after an oil change until she opened her email on her phone, then instructed her to complete the store survey, telling her to give the highest scores on all six questions. Holding the customers keys hostage until the customer survey is filled out to his liking.....not a good business model. Lots of other choices for service from professional businesses.

I came here today because Ive had a slow leak in one of my rear tires for a while. I usually go to Discount Tire, but when I seen they didnt even really take the time to look at anything, and instantly said I needed a set of new tires, I came here to get a second opinion. Stan helped me, and he was very knowledgable and patient. After taking my car back, they found a nail in my tire. They also let me know I needed new shocks. Im really grateful I came here because I feel like these people are genuinely honest, their prices are not awful, and I can say I left satisfied. Except for the fact that I need new shocks, but thats not their fault. I will continue to come here over discount tire. Thank you Stan and everyone at Mavis!!!!!! I appreciate your hard work. Joel was the one who worked on my car specifically and you can tell he is incredibly thorough, even when very busy. I couldnt thank you guys more. You guys are all awesome. But Joel and Stan. Employees are incredibly efficient, I am usually in & out in a couple of hours. Pricing is competitive with other tire or brake shops. I am always impressed with their service and communication. Services I have had done at this shop: oil change, brakes & rotors, and new tire installation.I would recommend this shop to busy people with minor vehicle issues or with normal maintenance.

I can honestly say that I am a satisfied customer with this particular location because they have gone above and beyond to make sure I came out a happy customer! I’ve had a rough couple months with an older vehicle and they did their best to give me the best deals they had and even some unexpected discounts on top of it. Today I just had a routine brake job done and they even went above and beyond that to make sure that I left there safely without charging me what would have been an unexpected fee. I’ve dealt with 3 main people there, Joe, Rick & the head mechanic, I believe his name was Dan. I can honestly say that they do really good work, and they helped me out when times seemed pretty tough. I’ll definitely be a returning customer, thank you Mavis Tire & Brake in Shorewood!!

This was my second visit to the Shorewood location. The customer service and professionalism I received was outstanding. They managed my expectations perfectly. Joel explained everything they were going to do and the timeframe it would take. I was so impressed I made a future appointment for two weeks later. What a wonderful experience I had at this location. Max to the rescue! I had a nail puncture my rear tire on my truck. It was a little over an hour before a lot of shops were closing up. I stopped at two other locations and was turned away. Keep in mind that my tire was leaking air so fast that within two minutes it was going flat. I managed to fill the tire with air at a gas station and noticed the Mavis tires near by. Now keep in mind I was also over 40 miles away from home. So I stopped in to the shop and spoke with Max. At first max was saying he had 5 other cars to take care of, 2 guys working, and they closed in roughly one hour and he wouldn’t be able to get to my car. I explained the situation to the guy running the shop, Max. Max looked at the frustration in my face and told me if I did not mind waiting, that they would take care of my tire. I was so happy that someone was willing to help. Not only did they repair my tire, but they closed at 6 and the guys stayed past closing to take care of me. My tire was repaired! So amazing to have someone that takes care of the customers and goes above and beyond. This location is my go to from now on just because of the service that Max did that day. HUGE 5 stars for these guys. I pulled into Home Depot they had something in the parking lot went in got a few things came back out and had a hole in my tire. Called a few places, completely booked, called these guys up and they checked the wait time told me to bring it on it.Took it in and got a new tire and had it changed In just about an hour, perfectly fine being the day of. Thank you guys so much.

The store manger tonight when I went in was amazing. Was full all day can tell he was working all day as well. And still took a look at my tire and got it fixed! Got the full service done on my vehiclehere back in March - brakes, shocks, fluids, and new set of tires.Decided to pay for the service plan and it was worth it. Today is unfortunately the 2nd time I have had to ask them to repair a tire. They were right on top of it. No additional charge.Highly recommend this place.

I made my appointment online and entered my vehicle info and picked out the 2 front tires I needed. Drove over to their shop in Shorewood and the guy at the desk said they could not put on my tires because their lift would not pick up my truck with dual rear wheels. Guess they never use a floor jack. They could have let me know online when I entered all my truck info. Manager called me at home that night and talked me into another appointment. Went back and waited 1 and a half hours past my appointment and they said it would still be at least 30 minutes before my truck was brought in. I left and needles to say will never be back. Walked in to discount tires and was out in under 1 hr with a new set of Cooper tires

I needed a tire that had a slow leak repaired quickly, as i had to work later today. Stan got me right in and Mike and Rick got it done within 30 minutes while i waited and on a Saturday, at that! great customer service!

Great customer service! My husband and son were on their way to Colorado from Michigan and got a flat. They were able to get them in 8 pm and get them back on the road. So thankful for them and the amazing job they did. Thank you!!

Max was a major help and took my car in on short notice. Even with them being busy and stretched thin he still made the time to get my tire replaced. Max saved me a lot of time and money, and was professional all throughout. You can tell he genuinely cares about the service and well being of customers. Will definitely be back for my next fix!!

Worst customer service experience ever. Dan or Stan the “manager” why didn’t know his own name is terrible. I called to purchase a new tire and he had the worst attitude ever and was not helpful at all. He hung up on me at the end of the conversation so I had to call another location. You’re losing money with this type of service.

Takes forever I set an appointment and called at least 6 times trying to talk to anyone for a specific time slot because I knew I needed an oil change quickly to fit in with my lunch break. Instead I got no answer so I asked my dad to take the car in for me for just an oil change he had been there for 3 hours. On what planet does it take 3 hours plus to change out oil, never going back to Mavis for service!!!!

I first called another tire place and it rang with no answer. I then called Mavis and they picked up on the first ring. They told me to come right in and they got me in right away. Tim was super friendly and helpful, and they got my tire fixed in less than 30 minutes for less than $20. I will definitely be coming back to this place in the future, they clearly care about customer service.

The exhaust system on my daughters car was making quite a bit of noise.The technicians reattached a heat shield over the muffler at no charge. Very pleased!

I had a great experience at Mavis in Shorewood!! Knowing nothing about cars, hearing a loud rattling noise from the back of my car makes me a nervous wreck. Mavis made it quick and easy and I was able to pick up my car the next morning. Super kind workers also. I will 100% be going back to Mavis in Shorewood for all of my car needs!!

I dropped of my car on Saturday 9/4/2021 at about 11:30AM to have 4 tire mounted and an alignment done. I spoke with Stan and he said that it would be done by the end of the day if i left the keys. At 3:50pm i called the shop cause i had not heard anything. I spoke with Stan again and was told they had gotten busy and that my car would not be getting done, however it would be done the next morning. Thats fine no big deal, mornimg comes and goes and i hear nothing. I try calling multiple times to get an update but no one answers. I had to call off work because no one would answer so i didnt wanna pay someone for a ride to find out my car isnt done. At 2:30pm 9/5 id had enough and paid a friend to take me up. I get in at about 3pm and speak to Stan again. He told me they were short handed and that is why no one answered the phone. I ask for a discount since both time frames i were given were wrong and i had to miss work. I got $10 off. I drive over to the staples parking lot to thank my friend and while im looking at my car i realize the front left tire has a broken lug stud. I also found scratches and scuffs on my car as well as a small dent in the drivers door. My car isnt the best and i know of rust spots and where someone had keyed it before. I just want to know why damage would be caused to the vehicle and nothing was said to me before i left, not a single word about the lug stud or anything.
