I am dropping my rating from 4 stars to 2. Ive always liked this store, but service has drastically deteriorated over my last few visits. Wait times are ridiculously long, as in 6 to 7 hours on my last visit. If you need tires here I strongly recommend you schedule an appointment, that is if you can figure out how to do it. I ended up getting my last tires in Albuquerque at a Discount Tire that was very organized with the same sized crew and was much more efficient. I hope they can fix this soon.

Eric G took great care of me as a customer.I will definitely go back to this store. However, make sure you have plenty of time when you go even if you have an appointment the wait is long.Been buying tires from Discount Tire for 30+ years, this is the busiest store I’ve ever been to hands down. At least it is during the summer.

I travel for a living and use Discount tire stores because I can find one in most cities. Service has become slower and slower across all of them, several hour wait times are the norm. Several months ago I made an appointment at my local Discount hoping to get around the wait. It still took over 3 hours for a simple rotate and balance. Several weeks ago I dropped a set of 4 tires and wheels off to be mounted and balanced hoping to avoid the awful wait by not having to sit with my vehicle. They called and told me the tires were ready, I drove to the store and the tires had not been touched. They said they would rush them, when I got back the tires had been mounted wrong (all 4 directional tires were mounted to be used on the right side of the vehicle and none on the left.) I left two wheels with them to be fixed, when I got back the fourth time only one had been fixed, the other was still mounted wrong. Last Saturday I dropped a trailer wheel off to have the tire plugged. Today when I got in to pick it up it had not been touched. I have 5 vehicles with Discount, all with road certifications, none will ever be to a Discount again. I will pay Future tire to replace a tire before I try to use my road certifications with Discount.

Had our new tires put on today (04-20-21). Set up an appointment the day before. Waited about 30 minutes over our appointment time but we were happy we got to stay in our vehicle when they put them on. Pretty quick to get the old tires off and the new ones put on.However they almost hardly ever answer their phone! It kept ringing and ringing while we were waiting and when I had tried to call I also had a very hard time getting ahold of them.Make an appointment otherwise youll be waiting a long time!!!!!!

Feel like may have given one star too many! Went there at 1:30 pm.was told it would be a 3 hours wait time, 4:30pm went to find out whats going on, then was informed it would be 3 more hours. I have been a loyal customer to D.Ts but 6 hours later makes me question my loyalties

Excellent customer service. I had an appointment & was told it would take an hour. I got 4 tires & the service was. Completed in 50 minutes. Very happy with all services. Would recommend discount tires to friends & family.

Took my travel trailer for 4 new tires. The tech couldnt remove one of my center caps and I had to drive back home to get my Philips cordless drill because they didnt have one! Then they stripped two drum studs and couldnt put the lug nuts on or fix their error. They had no studs to replace the two they destroyed. Alex the store manager then referred me to performance auto. I made an appt, took time off work and after 8 hours I waited they couldnt fix the studs. Now discount is giving us the run around telling us it wasnt their fault.... they forgot I was there watching the techs! Discount fix what you broke!!!!!!

Very busy store. Plan on being here a couple of hours. Very clean and great customer service. Could probably use someone to answer the constantly ringing phone. That its self would be a full time job

I have always liked Discount Tires. The people are friendly and wiling to answer any questions you may have. This one is the same way but you will have a long wait. Due to it being the only one in this area. And lack of help on the phones. Just expect to have a wait or to have to come back later and you won’t be disappointed in their service. Exceptional service! If you have been to any Discount Tire store, you probably know they are constantly busy. This store is very prompt and has great customer service. Team member, Michael, has assisted us on two separate occasions. I went in recently with damage to one of my brand new tires, and he provided awesome customer service, and really helped give me the best deal/price possible on a replacement. I am very grateful he was able to help us so much. I expected to have to buy a new tire and warranty, but he did his best to save me some money. Highly recommend this location for any tire needs!

I made an appointment online, was greeted by Wilson promptly who is very knowledgeable. He told me that my tire would be replaced in 20 minutes and it was! Great service and Wilson is very customer friendly with a good sense of humor!

We were having a leaky tire and asked them to inspect the tire. Pressure.all were good but the front passenger side. We were told we would need to replace the tire. I love this place because they always deliver what they advertise

We had the sidewall blow out of a Toyota tire that we had purchased and they were kind and are helping us to get a new tire theyve always been professional we have used discount tire for years and really have been impressed

From phone call to Tommy to the meet and greet with Wilson to the tech stating see you in 5k so we can do this again. 5* service. Hence 40+ years loyal customer

Well what do you know... they didnt try to upsell me. Instead the gentlemen showed me the statistics on two similar tires and explained the pros and cons of both. The cheaper tire was well rated and he thought it would be the best fit without breaking the bank. Dude (pretty sure his name was Tommy)was upfront about how long it would take were I to stay and have them installed. It made more sense to make an appointment, so I set up to have them installed tomorrow morning. However, for my quick stop in today Ill give them 5 stars because I appreciate the service and honesty. If tomorrow is a different story... Ill be sure to write an update on this review.

Waiting two hours for a tire repair and the employees have zero idea on jow to communicate with a deaf person.Will never buy tires from there again once these need to be replaced.

Took my car in to get a flat repaired but could not do it because there were busted are bad lugs. They told me to go to performance auto they might be able to fix.

Great service. Had to wait a bit but the tire repair was done at no charge and everything put away. Very courteous. I will use Discount Tire in the future.

Fire blew up out of show low had a nice young man stop and change it for me went into discount tire they had me a loaner cuz they did not carry the kind of tire I needed till I get to casa grande discount tire excellent service work after hours I suspect to get it done

Terrible service. Line out the door but they spend more time on the phone than with guaranteed customers waiting in line.In the 30 minutes I stood in line, between 4 reps, they answered maybe 20 calls and helped 1 customer. If somebody has taken the time to drive in and wait in line, theyre probably there for a reason. Why would you spend more time on the phones than with actual customers who are an almost guaranteed sale? I was there to buy 4 brand new tires. You lost a sale today.

I have NEVER had a good experience with this store. I have been a loyal customer for many years, using stores all across the nation. Every store I have used has been kind, courteous and efficient. This store has been everything but. I live almost an hour and a half from the store. They have told me my tires were in stock when they in fact werent twice. Have failed at patching the same tire THREE times before they finally agreed to replace it on its certificate. Have tried to upcharge me on tires after already giving me a quote. Lied about certifying a tire. Then said a certificate wouldnt cover the tire anyways when there is a nail in it. I called before driving all the way to the store to make sure the tire would be covered and an employee named Eric HUNG UP ON ME. I will NEVER be using this store again

Great staff. Very attentive to customers needs and ready to help. Truly a crew who can relate to there customers who live on or near the mountain.

Checked in at 11.05 paperwork wasnt done until 11.30 was told 1.5 hour wait.1hour 45 minutes and 4 cars taken in after me 2 of qhick we not appts.I am deaf and asked several times for them to remove their mask both responded by still talking to me thru their masks.I understand covid however your employees need to respond appropriately to requests for service by deaf people.Their actions have now cost your company several thousand yearly in a corporate acct.

They were swamped today. I was in line for 20 minutes before reaching the counter, but since I had an appointment they said Id be out in about an hour. The walk-ins were told to expect a 2-3 hour wait. An hour and twenty minutes later I was on my way.Ive been a customer since 1978 so I might be a bit biased. Even as a Walmart manager I always sourced my tires from Discount Tire.

Customer Service wise - I cant give them enough stars. Ive gotten Casey twice, BUT all of these men & women work extremely hard. However, the work environment: 2 things- they should have misters in the work area to help combat that heat they have to endure EVERYDAY!! FURTHERMORE, they should receive incentives for all the work they are putting out. This place gets crazy business and Discount is not even willing to share some of that wealth with its employees. Sad, you should see how hard they work. Ive been there 3 times, and their service has been constantly above and beyond EXCELLENT!! THE LEAST DISCOUNT COULD DO IS COMPENSATE THEM FOR THEIR HARD WORK. PERIODT

Amazing customer service! We bought new rims and tires a month ago for my husbands new truck. Today my husband got in an accident and had to put stock tires back on. They took care of it right away and we were surprised when we picked it up they did not charge to change out the tires. Thank you for taking care of us on a stressful day and making this one less thing to worry about.

When you need tires, this is the place. ALWAYS friendly helpful staff. Even if you didnt buy your tires there!!!Also, you can find them in smaller towns which is a HUGE plus as you travel!!!! No Costco or Sams nearby. No worries they are there and happy to help you!!👍👍

Theres always a line at discount tires no matter which shop you go into it seems. They always tell you that youre looking at least an hour wait. I left and went down the street and I got my tire fixed in less than 30 minutes! And thats mounted and balanced! The guy also only charged me $30 plus tax for the used tire!! What a great deal!! I paid a grand total of $34 and was out the door on my 5 hour trip...

My tire pressure low light came on, they were super busy, had a spot to pull up and a nice young man checked and filled my tires in no time flat...impressed!

You guys need to come up with a way to service flats and repairs fixed in a timely manner after all with the road hazard warranty. Its already paid. For. Had to wait over two hours for a simple flat repair.

They did a great job. But was told it would take a hour and a half it took 2 and a half otherwise they did great.

Came in at 1030 am for a tire replacement (warranty). Met with Eric, said to leave tire, theyd replace it an for me to return at noon and they put it on my truck again. Returned at 1155am, met with Michael, said tire hasnt been done would be 145 to get it on the truck. I got 2 other tires replace also. Truck finally pulled into slot for work at 255 pm . A wasted vacation day at discount tire

The manager at this location was so rude to me he just lost my business, on all five vehicles.

All the staff are willing to do what ever it takes to keep customers happy, I have never been disappointed.

They have theives working there, had tires, dismounted and mounted,although they were timely, my old valve caps (skulls) were not returned, they were not easy to replace,but Im supposed to get more. And cant find them,they were my dads,s Theives so put away anything you dont want stolen

These people force their employees to tell you that you need a new tire even when you dont we bought a $400 Tire then took our tire with the supposed Neill still in it over to Big O to have them look at it and they just pulled the Little Nail out and said yeah its fine dont worry about it not knowing that we had already bought a $400 Tire

They lost my business. Becuase they rather have me buy 2 new tires then rotate the tires I had on my car. Went to Robert Tires spoke with Waylon and for the price for two new tire that Discount was going to give me I am getting 2 new tires and a front end aliment all for the price that discount was going to charge me for only 2 tires. Been using Discount for close to a decade and they lost my business today.I am giving 2 stars because they were polite.

Wait takes to long, then they dont tighten center caps and they fall off. After waiting wwwks to order a new one, its not even the right one .

I set an appointment to replace my tires at 2:00. At 3:15 they finally put my vehicle in the bay. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if theyre not going to honor the appointment time?

The good folks at Discount Tire were EXTREMELY busy but they got us right in and fixed our tire at no charge! Everyone working there was very courteous and helpful. Super busy.... Great for them but not so great for the customers. We dropped off a tire to be repaired and we were told it would be 2 hours. We returned and was told the tire was past the age to be fixed. That was fine but it would have been helpful to get a phone call to that effect so our killing time of 2 hours could have been avoided.

Pretty disappointed in this store. Took in a vehicle that had new tires from a local independent dealer and was having what I assumed was a bad balance problem. They rebalanced all 4 tires, said all was great, but still it bounces as bad as it was initially but at a different speed. Took it back to the original shop and they found a defective tire that was clearly out of round. They replaced it for free and rechecked the others. Like new again. Pretty disappointing when whats thought to be the high end, place to go to for tires and repairs cant detect a defective tire on top of the line equipment.

Our terrific Discount Tire store in Show Low,AZ is, AS USUAL Superb! Eric waited on me before I got in the store..Jacub(unusual spelling,but I think its right) gave me my folder when done, and said the tires were in good shape, see me in 6,000 miles,or sooner! Emory was there, polite and cheerful as usual!! And I will say it again...cause we have had your tires,and terrific service since way back, the store on Power road in Mesa....If Discount Tire stops doing business I better plan to walk!! Thank you for another great service ! Ill see you in 6,000 miles!

Dont know what happened but service IS HORRIBLE HERE NOW. Used to go here all the time..great service....but recently this has gone out the window. I will not recommend this store to anyone again.Only way I will return is when a sign reading UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT is displayed outside.========================ISSUE NUMBER 1:Went there to have a tire repaired under the road hazard warranty. They threw an empty rim into the back of my SUV in the spare tire area!!! WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING to me about it. Imagine my surprise if I had a flat!!!ISSUE NUMBER 2:Ordered tires online and setup an appointment online....even stopped by the store to talk to Eric to make sure the tires were in fact on order. He confirmed the tires were on order and would be here for my appointment. Show up for appointment...no tires....no appointment either in the system!!! Eric blamed the delivery service and wouldnt take responsibility. He offered an 80 dollar discount but when I have to take 2 days off work to get tires this hardly makes up for it.ISSUE NUMBER 3:Averted a third issue...(which would have happened) by going to Big O for my tires. Otherwise Id have returned to discount tire on wednesday only to be told the tires I ordered and paid for werent there...yet again...(due to a nationwide shortage of the KO2s)...see below.===================The fact of the matter is the tires I ordered are on back order nationwide....(BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2s on 16 inch rims) did Eric tell me this? No...instead wanted me to return in two days and go through this all over again!!! Big O informed me theres a nationwide shortage on the KO2s right now...and I confirmed this with Tire Rack online as well. Wont be available until late October....maybe.I went to Big O around the corner and they fixed me up with good tires and a free wheel alignment. They found a bad tie rod and replaced it for me. Discount Tire would not have found this since they dont do alignments and the new tires would have worn out in a funny way.Big O will now get all my business.
