The tow truck was very nice with top of the line equipment. The operator Paul was very informative, kind, and gave great instructions and details. He managed to come out very quickly despite it being very late and pulled my fully loaded trailer out of a huge puddle near a hotel with no damages. Im am very thankful for his experience I was expecting some damage on the trailer but he pulled it off by himself.

My kid was broke down and Krystal was so nice and understanding and helped me get her off the side of the road. Very helpful and friendly. 5 stars. Amazing dispatcher!!! I would use them a million times just for her!!!

Spoke to Krystal on the phone, and Josh came to pick me up. They were very nice and helpful. Josh arrived promptly and towed my car to the shop (closed). Then he dropped me off at home safe and sound.

I cant say enough good things about how Mericles handled our bad situation, and did all they could to fix it. Basically, they took over the problem and made it their own.The long story:Our flatbed F800 (which had just come from the shop, but thats another long, sad story) has a shipping container on it, completely stuffed with household belongings. The truck died, so we called Mericles. Patrick got there in good time, only to find that the brakes had somehow frozen on between the time we stopped and he arrived. ?!? He spent hours trying to get them unstuck, bit nothing worked. He finally had to put the truck back down, only the second time in 10 years hed had to do so. Next they put the truck on a land-all, but with the box it was a foot higher than the legal limit. The final solution was to take the box off and tow only the truck to the diesel shop. The owner said he would store the box at his facility for the lowest amount he could charge us. It was clear that he was doing his best to help us in this unprecedented situation. 10/10, would call again, but I sure hope we never have to!

Hands down if you need a tow in Shreveport area these are your people. Ryan was the driver who towed my car. Im pregnant and was bring supplies to New Orleans right after Ida. He was there in 30 minutes and went above and beyond to not only make sure my car was safe but that I was too. When I came to get the stuff out of my car and into the rental thier staff helped me unload the vehicle and was so sweet. Please support this business. They care about not only your car but you as a person as well!

Called them to move a 12x20 shed. It was time sensitive the next day they sent a driver named Mike out to the location were it was he had it on a roll back in 20 minutes and moved it 25 miles down the road and put it right were I wanted it. 100% recommend. I never right reviews but every shed place and towing company I called was a nightmare they either never called back or was rude or over priced and backed out at the last minute. If I could give a million stars I would! My family and I were driving through Louisiana headed to Florida when our RV stalled late at night in unfamiliar territory.  We were at a lost to say the least! We were so thankful to have found Mericle Towing! Crystal was so helpful on the phone coordinating everything. Brady, the tow truck driver,was very nice and amazing at towing our 30 ft RV and getting us safely to the RV dealer. We ended up needing to tow it again the next day to another place. Mericle Towing and  Brady to the rescue again!  Definitely recommend!!

I’d give y’all 5 stars, but the guy that came down here was unprofessional. Did he get the truck out? Yes he did. Thankful for that. But the entire time he was here all he could do was try and tell people how to do the jobs that they are hired and paid to do. Tried to take over what I was doing, disrupting my job because he thought he could do it better, so he decided to “try and do it”. (Which he failed) Also I did have several vehicles trying to come out needing to get through, and I asked him can these vehicles bypass you to get out he said “probably not, they can wait” as his tow truck sat in the middle of the road blocking incoming and outgoing traffic. Once he finished HIS job he should have left the premises. But he refused and decided to do other things, which caused a traffic back up. Even the drivers would get out of there own vehicles to go up to his door to get him to move, but he wasn’t in his truck, he was too busy “trying” to tell someone else how do to their job. The guy was short and petite, with dark head hair and dark facial hair. Possibly wearing glasses.

Very efficient. Polite driver, and very reasonably priced. Good service, prompt, helpful, knowledgeable. Id say 5 stars

They saved my life! Ms. Kiki was amazing. My brand new Kia 2021 Soul transmission went out and left my father and I stranded. I called Mericles Towing and they are a blessing. Ms. Kiki kept me calm and reassured that everything was going to be okay. Our tow driver was amazing, too. He came as quick as possible and when he dropped off the car to my mom’s house, there was not one scratch mark or any issues. He left it perfect. Ms.Kiki was always on top of everything. ☺️Also, the price of the towing is WAYYYY more reasonable then New Orleans tow prices ( New Orleans towing companies will scam you!) Overall, I’m very happy with my service. I will always use them and will always ask for Ms. Kiki. She definitely deserves a raise and employee of the year!

A competitor ... Futrells, left us stranded for 8 hours after we had an agreement weeks in advance for them to help us for 10 minutes. Called Mericles late in the afternoon and they were there within the hour, helped us for just 10 minutes, and we were on our way. They were friendly and professional.

Terrible company will NEVER use or recommend again. After an accident my car was towed there. I was hit in the back. When they towed it to my home the whole front was demolished. The hood was taped down. A bottle of booze was in the back seat. I called my insurance company and they said in 23 yrs they had never had this problem. We were buying the car back but after the way they destroyed it at their yard I refused for them to take it off the truck. The insurance company bought it back.

Avoid this place at all costs, terrible service! Talked to them over the phone and they told me they would charge me $119 to pick up my car and I told them id pick it up by 5:30. I was there at exactly 5:30 and when I got there, the lady told me it would be $45 to open the gate since it was after hours (the gate was still open and the car was parked out front). After that they charged me another $75 to push my car up the ramp since the key was missing. They find every way possible to take your money and will give you wrong prices over the phone. Id rather push my car home than to use this places services again!

Have ordered Mericles Towing to pickup my broker truck from Texas to deliver to Atlanta. Mericles have picked up.. but.. instead to deliver to Atlanta, they did pulled to they yard in Shreveport, Louisiana. Said: come pay us $600 cash and get your truck.Ended very badly, we sent other tow truck to pickup, paid $600 to Mericles.Very rude people, totally dishonest

I recently posted a rating on here (same name) and I find it hilarious that before I posted my review I read all the other ratings and it wasnt until AFTER I gave 1 star (cause you cant go any lower) and explained myself as to how unprofessional and rude this company is did the owner go back and reply to all the good feedback of other posts!! I intend to complain to geico daily until they make a change. Nobody deserves to be cursed out by the owner of a business!!!Its pathetic!

Woman I spoke to on the phone chose not to inform me that I would need my registration until after I took off from work to retrieve my vehicle. Apparently those of us who arent qualified to perform jobs that contribute to societys well being are relegated to working at places like Mericles Towing.

Easy to do business with

Worked in the trucking industry for 15 year as a dispatcher. This is by far the worst towing service I have ever used. Called at 1:30pm and was told the wrecker had to drop and would be there in 30 min. At 5:30pm after several calls and lies about the truck almost being there, the lady actually told us that the tow truck was there when my driver is on the other line saying he has not seen the truck. Finally showed up at 6:00pm. 30 minute turned out to be 4 1/2 hours.We will never use this company again and will make sure every company that I do business with knows of the poor service provided by Mericles Towing.

Mericles Towing came to our rescue yesterday, February 26, when our float broke down at the Krewe of Highland Parade. Not only did one of their drivers happen to be visiting family and approached, offering to help tow the float offsite, when we called the dispatcher to order the tow, once they found our we (The Renzi Education & Art Center) were a non profit organization for kids, they comped the tow. I cannot imagine any company who would show such kindness to an organization they dont even know. Their response is evidence that our community is full of kind folks, such as James and his team at Mericles Towing!

I used this tow company because Geico, my insurance company has a contract with them. The tow truck driver was polite and what not but as a result of where he placed my car it was left on an incline and when it was placed on the jack for the tire change it fell and caused damage to the fender and side structure (And other stuff I dont know about mechanics much) So I called the tow company to resolve the issue never once did I ask for money, being referred to a body shop would have been sufficient. Instead I was cursed at BY THE OWNER, Mr. James, so I wrote Mr. James a handwritten letter expressing how displeased I was with his customer service and I hoped he would treat his other clients better. See when companies get contracts with other businesses such as geico, the shreveport police, and others they dont pride themselves in providing actual service because they know the business will come to them regardless. When it was time to get my car to the shop for repairs I was told this same company was the only one in the area available to assist, as reluctant as I may have been I had no other choice. The company cancelled the tow and made this poor Geico lady search for quite some time for a company out of area ( I was happy about that trust me!) But how unprofessional do you get?! Its my hope geico cancels their contract as they provide excellent service unlike this tow company!
