I really didnt get far into the store because I was looking for particular books but I absolutely love this place. It was my first visit and the staff was very friendly. The books are well organized from what I could tell. The staff also was very knowledgeable about where exactly the books are. The music was ambient and the vibe was great.

I stopped by THE TRIFTY PEANUT with some books to see if they did. This place has every kind of book that you can imagine, and they are very reasonable priced, so you can afford to buy more than just one! I fully intend to go back again and would recommend it to everybody!

So many selections of good used books. Books are in good condition and are arranged in good order. Owner has always been available to help. Very friendly employees. I have always found what Im looking for there.

This store is awesome! They have a great selection of books, movies, music, games etc. Top notch customer service as well. Before ordering on Amazon or ebay, run by Thrifty Peanut first. Chances are they have what you are looking for at a fraction of the price.

You can step into this store and just forget about the outside world. This store has its own vibe and you just get lost in it. Time will pass you by and before you know it you will have racked up on books! I wish I had a store like this closer to home! Please never close! Some of us actually love the book in our hands. I have always had a fear all books will go tech someday so I really love what bookstores we have left.

The Thrift Peanut is a diamond in the rough. Once you walk past those doors your whole world changes. They have every kind of book you could ever imagine. They have nice cozy areas to sit and review your books before you buy them. The staff is always extremely helpful and lead you in the right direction. They also have an option for them to purchase your books, just see the cashier for more information. I absolutely could get lost in here every time I go.

Love this store. And if you donate used books they give you store credit towards purchases.

The staff knows there collection well and will gladly help you find what youre looking for. A book lovers paradise, I spent over three solid hours there! Highly recommend dropping in!

Love this place! I spend about 2 to 3 hours in here approximately every other month. I drive close to an hour for this place, love it. Great prices!! Books are organized by genre and you have to look, but can come across some GREAT finds!

So much to see. Unlike some used book stores in the area, they have a plethora of both old and classic, as well as newer authors. I was impressed. Do not forget to go upstairs!

This store has a great selection! However, I feel that they ripped me off of a $50 credit after trading in several bags of books. Twice I tried to use my credit, but they told me that it was already used and refused to work with me. I ended up dropping around $100 cash total between two trips because of this. I will never go back because of this, which is a shame because it really would be a nice place to get books.

This place carries every genre and it is remarkably well ordered.I am a preacher so you can guess my favorite type of books to read. There are literally THOUSANDS of them! An awesome second hand bookstore. They have a VERY broad selection that is well organized by genre. Theyve recently added an awesome vinyl record selection to their store. The trade in program is a heck of a deal as well.

Amazing!!! The cashier/workers were all incredibly friendly, and the benefits and discounts gained from donating books is certainly better than other places with similar ideas. The smell hits me right in the feels, like a book store should smell. 😍 All the literature is in amazing condition, and the price of everything was surprisingly low. Highly reccomend and will definitely go back.

This a a Golden Nugget hidden amongst the norm. You can find great treasures and normally expensive books here for cheap. Its also a great place to waste/spend an afternoon. I was surprised by the content. Lots of dated material as far as literature, lots of cheap entertainment and fictional reading material available.

Its a fun, very uniqye place to shop and trade books. The books are really well pierced and the staff is friendly. A fair heads up, they might not have the specific book you are looking for, especially if its a newer book.

Amazing! I cant believe I have been driving past this quaint bookstore for 2 years and never been inside! Until my childrens bookshelf was literally pouring over and I thought to donate some books.The owners are super sweet and knowledgeable. They have a rack of suggested books, several carts full of books for $1, and an incredible selection of books of all genres. If you have some time to wander around, do it here, you will be amazed by what youll find.

Great place to go and spend hours looking through books, records, and games. Although not well organized the prices are great and looking for books is half the fun. Nice atmosphere with a cozy feel in a big city. Plus you can trade in books and get credit towards more. I highly recommend stopping in here.

The manager was arguing loudly with a customer the whole time i was in the store and refused to refund a guys money even though the store was wrong for selling him software were the product key had already been used making the software useless.

Terrific selection. They have quite a bit of items to go through, perfect for any collector of books and music. I just wish I had more time to browse since there is so much to explore.

They always have what I’m looking for and at such a great price. I also just love going to browse because there’s such a big ever changing selection.

I am only giving this 3 stars because it is really hard to find what you’re looking for sometimes and the selection can be pretty repetitive but over all it’s a great thrift place to go! I have found some pretty awesome Vinyl - you just gotta search!

The Thrifty Peanut is a mind blowing store for the avid reader and music lover! If you truly want to find something special, you will be in the store for hours. They have a plethora of books in every genre. I have found multiple first editions of the classics here and at a competitive price. The Thrifty Peanut has a book for every type of reader. Nicholas Sparks to James Baldwin and everything in between. Don’t forget to go upstairs and check out their sci-fi and history literature. Their collection of WWII literature is impressive and I constantly find antique works that are in mint condition. The media section is vast and you will no doubt leave with at least a few vinyls in hand. Keep up the good work!

First time Ive been. Enjoyed browsing. I did buy a few books but I was wondering why dont I just CK the books out of the library?!? Maybe because I forget to take them back on time. Grandbabies will love reading these at nap time.
