1000 percent faster and more friendly than walmart. And I would say the price is on par if not better and you wont pay for a warranty you just get one.

Great service with no complications and the best price I could find. I called ahead and even with one person ahead of me, there was almost no waiting. They tested, removed and replaced my battery with a correct replacement.The owner and experienced staff were friendly and courteous to me and all who came in. They are the cheapest price wise for a new battery in the city of Shreveport. The staff and very knowledgeable and what options are good and can provide options for the quick emergency buy. Only thing I highly recommend putting your receipts somewhere you will remember because unlike AutoZone your will need it to make a warranty claim if needed.

I went to Avant because I believed that I was having battery issues. Instead of just taking my money and selling me a battery the guy said he wanted to check to make sure that a battery was what I needed. Turns out that I did not need a battery and they still continued to help me as if I was a paying customer as I was a stranded female. I will never forget this experience and will always send customers to this business.

Very shady. Jeff the owner talks you into his 5 year Battery and when it goes dead after 1 year and a 1/2 he will not honer the warranty. Do not do business if you plan on a battery lasting any time. It is very sad you try to do business with local owner and get treated like crap. I will go to a big retail stores from now on
