According to business card, person I dealt with is TeeWhy Aros, Production Manager (Owner as per Google reviews). Made mistake of paying the $105 up front, on May 4th, because I thought they were legitimate based on Yelp reviews (that are totally gone btw). I go into their office, back in MAY, on Youree and apparently this is a new office with a new employee who is being trained by a girl who arrived late. We (Aros) go through the entire design, colors, sizes, small talk, asked me where I heard about them, etc. I said no rush, my trip was in July; assured me within next few days I would have design proof sent via FB messenger and as soon as they were done they would be mailed to me. Emailed several times with no response. By phone I can only understand a few words here and there of what the guy says so its difficult to talk to him. FB messenger then. June 7th was told he would check my design and start working on it. Asked me when I wanted them, as if I were bothering him, told him June 15th. June 17th, after contacting again b/c I had heard nothing, was asked to send my design b/c the girl who worked there took some of the designs so he had NONE of my information (given numerous times). So I drew out design as best I could (reason I went to a T-shirt design place) with the colors, etc.; although it was all in the info that was allegedly taken. After another phone call on June 18th he sends me a design that is NOT what I had drawn or what we discussed. He argued with me over my request to have name and title on the front and he couldnt understand why I wanted main design on back. I sent an example for the back and drew out specifically what should be on the front and where. He sends me another proof that I said fine to, after asking him to make a few changes including spelling NEWORLEAN correctly. Again, no more communication. I message again. Im asked June 23rd to call him and that the T-shirts and material were ordered. He was so sorry but it was that girls fault who left. He sends an image of the front of the shirt after I insisted and I approved after some frustrating messages. July 2nd I ask when they will be ready. He simply replied they are open on Tuesday. I reminded him about mailing them but told him nevermind and I would come by. Was unable to make it July 6th. contacted him July 8th after going by the locked office. He asked for my address because hes not in office. I provide address AGAIN. July 12th he has not mailed them and I message him. responds he is at work and will call me after work. What? Excuses after excuses then tells me I am sending him all these messages while hes at work and he has a full time job, the T-shirt business was actually closed or closing after having restarted it but he was going to make sure he got my order to me before I left, as if he was doing me a favor. Another day goes by and he texts me that he will drop them off at my house on Tuesday evening after I asked him to confirm specifically in writing what he said he would do. Then he cant because he says one of the shirts was the wrong size but he will refund my money if the person he asked to do the shirts (so he didnt do them) couldnt get them ready in time. After more phone calls on 7/15 I told him to just bring the shirts that were done including the wrong size one. He responds by asking for cash app I use. Venmo. He doesnt use that. PayPal. Okay. But as of today, PayPal unavailable. I got scammed. No shirts for my Moms trip, which were also my gifts. And a theft was committed of $105. Supporting local business gone wrong.
