Ive called about blue crabs three times a week for over a year and they always give me a day i can come in to buy and they never have any. The ones that speak English are the rude and the ones that dont make it hard to shop because they dont understand anything your asking for. A little boy was in there one day and saw my dad and i shopping. He said arnold swartsneggar and then kept repeating the n word over and over and the workers there thought it was so funny. Funny how the understood English then.

These people are really wonderful they have really good prices on Chinese and Oriental foodstuffs and other items they are always very helpful if you have questions

If you love asian food, this is where you need to shop. Soba noodles, purple yams, ginger candy etc. You name it, they have it.

The store is clean and is easy to find the products but best of all was the costumer service.

This place is great! I was so happy to find a large selection of different asain food ingredients from Korean to Indonesian to Japanese and everything in between. They even had Durian! This place is definitely one of Shreveport best kept secrets.

What a selection! From now on, I will be coming here for dried mushrooms and Beef bones. The prices are outstanding (half or more the cost than grocery stores)!

I love this store. I enjoy cooking Japanese style food and this is the only place in town that I can get all the ingredients I need to make a batch of authentic ramen. All their veggies are cheaper than most other grocery stores as well, so I usually stock up on fresh fruits and veggies when I visit. I would stay away from the meat in the freezer though, they dont have expiration dates in the packages and it all looked freezer burnt last time I looked in there.

The selection is awesome. You can get all kinds of fresh veggies and frozen meat and seafood you wont find at other stores. They have aisles of packaged meals, spices, snacks, and drinks. Multiple frozen cases are devoted to premade meal items. A few aisles feature cook ware. Its a great place to get bulk rice. The owner is very nice. It could be remodeled and a little more organized as it has an active warehouse feel.

Too bad must drive to Shreveport to shop there. Wide variety of oriental cook vegetables, sauces, canned goods, frozen meats/seafood, etc. Too bad some problem cabinet freezers making difficult search into deep freezer. So, if not apparent, ask.

They have a great selection for all of your Asian food needs. Whats also great is you can buy stuff in bulk! So we always stock up our supply of rice and noodles here. I cant guarantee that itll be kind on your wallet though.

The lobster tank sits prominently behind the counter and thank God no animals were in it. Black mold on the glass, Brown water. The meat in the refrigerated section is gray and several items on the shelves were expired. Its almost the end of June, and every package of tofu expired in May.It may have a lot of hard to get items, but its sketchy at best as to whether what you get is good or not.

Our family loves to visit Bao Bao! The kids love to find something new every time we go! The produce is fresh and the meat selection is FANTASTIC! No matter what your fancy is, they have it...from Fujian to Filipino. Cant wait to go back next week and get some more dragon fruit....oh and the lychee in the summer are wonderful. The staff are all super friendly, give advice, and if you know who to talk to, youll even get a funny story or two! Im a redneck woman with a hunger for Asian cuisines and Bao Bao is my stomping ground!!! :)

This place has just about anything you could want. Fun way to learn about Asian cuisine and some culture. Have been in many times for everyhting from blue crab to joss paper. Always friendly. Good prices. Only downside, once in a while the smell is overwhelming. LOL

One of the better asian grocery stores in Shreveport.Lots of bok choy, Japanese eggplant. Shirracha, Chinese broccli, and many more asian fresh veges.Of course rice and plenty of noodles.

This store has sooooo many things expires and no one will tell you that! The things which was expired in 2010 might still be sold today in 2015!! Be careful guys when you decide to buy things there. The price is high while the quality of the products are really terrible!

They sell expired products. I bought a package of the instant coffees that had an expiration date of 2017 on the outside but the individual packets on the inside had an expiration date of 2015. I called store but they would not replace their product. I wont shop there again.

Went there a few times, used to love it but not anymore, the prices is in the sky and sooooo many merchandises is expires, very disappointed.

Not only were they not open when they said they would be (there were 8 of us customers that arrived in the 15 minutes I waited, 1 hour after they were supposed to be open)....but their delivery driver (who already took up 1 of the only 2 handicapped spots) asked me to move my handicapped vehicle out into the parking lot so he could put pallets of merchandise in the handicapped spots!!! What kind of business is this that already cant stay up due to closing shop to pick up kids from school, but they dont open on time!!! Horrible customer service!! Will just buy my products online!

Best place to find obscure Asian food items

I was there last week, try to get some stuff that I need but the inventory in the store like 60%. And today I was going there for the coffee and tea guess what they only have coffee not tea the inventory like 40%, this store is going down bad I mean very very bad, seem like the owner doesnt care anymore, I dont think I going back there again!

Nope. Too expensive! You need to spend at least $10 to purchase. You guys if you want to get an Asian ingredients that you cant find in other major stores and you only need small amount of it you can go to Vincent General Store on Northgate in Bossier. You dont have to think about buying something just to make it to $10. This store also put too much profit. They buy their stuff from Texas and they overprice them for the travel cost getting the stocks. Too overpriced though.1000 Northgate Road, Bossier City, LA 71112 is the address.
