Excellent food, great service cant wait to come back

Clean place and fresh produce ! Has a salad bar and bistro that serves sushi and other menu options with a small dining area ! Starbucks operates here limited hours as well and the bakery has a great selection of items. it feels always welcomed when we step into the store .Pleasant experience!

I love this location of Kroger. Its very rare that I cant find what I want/need. Their pharmacy is amazing, as is their clicklist. The fuel station is great, too!

We love the store itself. It’s always very clean and well stocked. The only issue I’ve ever had has been with grocery pick up. It seems after covid in March 2020, they have consistently gotten my pickup orders wrong. Either by giving the wrong items, leaving out items, replacing items with things completely different than what was ordered. I’ve given them 4 different chances, and I’ve called and had it documented and corrected, (always just an apology and hope to do better in the future - but I still have to drive back to the store to get my correct order or go in to return the items I don’t want/need. Very frustrating and hard with 5 young children. Which is why I do pickup to begin with! It would be nice to have a discount of some sort or heck just anything to help rectify the issue after several times of having problems) but after tonight I will not be using them any more for pick up. Which means we won’t be shopping at Kroger anymore since pickup is my main source of grocery shopping. Shame.. since we love Kroger.

Good store. We dont have Krogers in Monroe, so any time I come to SHV I stock up on items / brands that I cant get at home. Surprised that all of the artisan or specialty breads in the deli area start with enriched white flour (too many B vitamins which zings my system) and malted barley flour (which adds a taste I dont care for). Even the whole wheat bread had these. Didnt use to. One 1-star reviewer a week ago said not many people were wearing Covid masks. Today, Sat 8/14/21, Id say 95% of us were wearing masks. Some labels / prices missing from shelves, and it was hard to find Colmans dry mustard since it was hidden behind a hanging shelf display. They also carry jackfruit which Ive never heard of, but will look it up and maybe purchase on my next visit.

I love having a large grocery store in South Shreveport. It has great produce and has a wide selection to shop from. The deli is great with a salad bar and even freshly made sushi! The store is very clean and well stocked. Dont forget the awesome tortillas made fresh here. The bakery serves up some of the best tasting cakes in town.

In the middle of the Delta Covid variant with a mask mandate going on and half the people have no masks on! Will be doing my grocery shopping at Walmart from now on. Cheaper prices on everything. Bye bye Kroger.

Worst pharmacy in Shreveport. As the only one in line you will still wait 20 minutes to pick up a prescription that’s already filled. The pharmacist was sweet but how does an operation this size only have 2 people working?

Needed a gift for my sister who was retiring and was able to find balloons and a lovely bouquet of daisies for her for a GREAT price.

Their pick up used to be awesome, best in Shreveport. That was before Covid. Now everybody uses pickup and they obviously cant keep up. It has become a nightmare. I have given then another chance on 3 occasions and still they mess up. I live in Mansfield and today I get home to discover that all my frozen goods are still in the store freezer. Now I have to make another trip all the way there and back. 60 miles round trip! Its ridiculous! The manager for the pick up is great, just terrible employees.

Love this place! A little pricey $$$, but they make up for it with convenience and selection. Employees are very nice and helpful. I love their deli sushi bar!!!

I ordered on the app and they brought it out to my car. The broccoli had brown spots on it and they sold me bacon in August that expired on June 17th.

Their pick-up is terrible. You can watch a couple episodes of your favorite show while waiting

Being that nothing is open late night anymore, Kroger always came in clutch. Not very happy that the store decided to cut back its hours of operation and close earlier.

I shop here weekly and LOVE the store, but they need to revamp their Click list Pick up or end it. I have done the click list here for a while, but since the pandemic, the pick up process is a mess!!! I ordered about 25 items that I get almost weekly at this location, but due to a hectic schedule, I decided to try click list again. I will NEVER use click list here again. I arrived a little before 3 pm when my pick up time was from 3 to 4. All 8 spots were full and about 3 cars were waiting in front of me. I expected a wait due to this. I finally got in a spot and called. I had received a text that my order was ready for pick up and when I called once in my spot, I was told they would get my groceries out as soon as possible. After waiting until 4, I called to check on my order. I was told it was up next. So then 2 cars were serviced with their groceries (both had arrived after me) so I checked again and was told I was next. Once again, they came out and filled an order for another person who arrived after me. When I called this time, I asked how to cancel the order because this was absolutely ridiculous. I was frustrated, but not yelling. The girl on the other line started telling me they only had 2 workers and asked why I was yelling at her. I told her that I had been waiting for almost an hour and half, been told multiple times that I was next, but others who arrived after me were serviced. A man took over and told me if I canceled it would take 3-5 days to get my money back. Needless to say, I waited and was NEXT, but had never received a text or email about substitutions or unavailable items prior so I assumed they were all available. I was wrong. I had to ask and found VERY common items I get weekly were not in my order and an item was substituted without my permission. I was beyond frustrated and felt that maybe my order wasnt ready and they were filling as people arrived. This service at this location used to be my weekly shopping option prior to the pandemic, but I would not recommend this service at this location to anyone.

Horrible customer service today Ellerbr Shreveport Kroger, questioned for an hour over a failed diaper box size exchange!!! Seemed I needed a clearance from HQ in Cincinnati to exchange unopened luvs diapers from size 3 (purchased from Kroger) to size 4, and apparently I don’t qualify for the clearance. Customer service reps/manager were clearly doing their best to find every hurdle and excuse to not complete the task

Best place to shop and cheapest gas in town.

I used to really like this Kroger; however, the customer service lately has been horrible. They are constantly out of items in stock. Additionally, I have put in several online orders and driven here only to be told they wouldn’t be available until the next day. Don’t offer a reservation time if you can’t make it work. I even showed up later the last time to try to give them more time on other orders and I still was told they were working on orders from 5:00 and mine was at 8:00 so they wouldn’t get to it. Kroger used to send order updates because they have my number on file. Send a text update letting the customer know what is going on. If you are too understaffed, block out reservation times so you don’t get so many orders at once. There are so many things from a customer care, operations, and communicative perspective that you can do. If a customer calls to pick up an order, don’t hang up on them. Understand that they might be unable to come back the next day because they have such a strict and crazy schedule themselves.

Went there with a friend. Store was clean and stocked. Friend bought a lemon meringue pie...yall run out of lemon filling Kroger? This is a meringue pie with a taste of lemon 😲

This Kroger os a joke for pickup, dont even bother - been waiting for more than 30 minutes.They dont even make any effort to reload groceries in the store. What a shame!

This store was good a few years ago . Of late I have noticed a lot of expired food items being sold . Many at least a month expired . Stocking is still an issue, and this was before Covid . No grocery should be selling expired goods . Check your labels before buying unless you want food poisoning.

The 2 times that I have used the grocery pickup app my food has been delayed. The both times I was called it was delayed 2 hours. Both time I didnt get all of my items only half. I was only notified about the out of stock the 1st time. Both times I waited over and hour and a half for my groceries. This time not only did I wait for so long but they charged the wrong card. This time I missed a very important event trying to get groceries that was supposed to be ready at 4pm. I finally was given a refund at 7:15 pm. I will never use the pickup service here again. I will never shop at this store again. I cant get my time back.

It took me almost an hour to receive my order. The parking for grocery is too small and inconvenient. I received a text hours before stating my order was ready. I checked in 30 mins before my arrival I arrive there was no where to park. I called and asked of I could park in a park in a parking space right next to the grocery pickup parking area. The young man told me no Id have to wait in line. There was no line. He then began a conversation with someone else while on the phone with me. I continued to wait for a parking space. When I did get into a designated parking space I still did not receive my order. I eventually had to call out to ome of th we workers to ask for my order. When someone Finally brought my order there was no apology for my experience. . This is NOT express service. NOW Im. Late for an appointment.

The online ordering and pick up is an absolute joke. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes EVERY TIME.

A clean and busy store that has a great store that has numbers options for the locals.From the cheese monger to the home chef to the aficionado; so many things are stocked here to help make sure you can make your home the place to eat or entertain.To often the pick up in store shoppers are taking up space in the store for the shoppers who do still enjoy shopping.

First of all I want to say I like this store but, we ordered pick up a few days in advanced and our order wasn’t ready which is sad but we understood that a lot of people are ordering and they might be busy. So we waited 2 hours and we finally got our groceries but when we got home some of our items were missing,bent or messed up. Shame on you Kroger Ellerbe.

I ordered from Click before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning and got a Sunday pickup time between 8 and 9 a.m. I was there at 8:05 and after about 30 minutes a guy comes to my car and said they were sending someone to the deli to get my meat. ???? Then I waited another 25 minutes before the brought my groceries - no explanation of things that were substituted of what I didn’t get. I realize times are hard right now but Brookshire’s does a much better job. I won’t be back.

They have everything. It isnt crowded, just huge. Dont go if you have any problems withwalking. Instead, download their app and send in your order, then go to the driveup pickup area and get your stuff. You need a credit card. A nice young smiling person will bring it out and put it in your car. You probably save money this way, even though there is a $5 fee, because this eliminates impulse buying. Kroger is just great.

Grocery Pickup Nightmare!!!! Meechie is excellent and tried to fix my issue but unfortunately I probably wont use Kroger pickup again. I submitted my order on Thursday night for a Friday 5pm pick up. At 5pm I was told my order wasnt ready and asked if I could come back at 6. I was irritated but returned at 6pm. At 6pm I was again informed my order wasnt ready and asked if I cold come back in an hour (7pm). Where is the convenience grocery pick is supposed to provide? Due to previous plans I told them to hold my order until Saturday. I picked up Saturday applied kroger coupons to my order and headed home only to realize I had been given the wrong receipt and my coupons applied to the wrong receipt. Totally disappointed in this service!

You can find just about anything at this Marketplace Kroger. It has the freshest and most variety of produce. The new doors on shelved items in lunch meats prepackaged, some bags of stirfry, and salad kits in produce, dairy may save you money on cooling bills, but as a disabled person using an electric cart, it is very hard to get close enough so you dont fall out of the cart plus opening the door., is almost impossible. Especially with socializing distance requirements. It took me 10 minutes to get a bag of stir fryVeggies. It came down to my arm or the glass being broken by the cart. Same goes with all of your glassed in shelves. The doors need to be wider so you can pass them up and be able to get close enough to save my arms. I am only 5ft 2in. So I am at a disadvantage before the doors were installed. So, I no longer able to go shopping without bothering someone on every corner of the store. Please do not put up doors on the regular produce.The store is clean and well stocked. But my husband and I have noticed that they are bringing out expensive stock they couldnt sell before. And a lot of items are kroger brands with a higher price tag. Just not as high as name brand. I thought that their were laws about gouging! And they say take just what you need. LOLIf you wait until next week it will be a higher price!

Nice to have a grocery store so nice, so close to the house. Great beer and wine selection, deli and salad bar. Pro Tip: there is a small entrance on the far right side by the deli. There are a couple of self check out stations there. If you just have a few items its a nice way to slip in and out

This place is huge. This was my very first visit and when I stepped in the door I just stopped and look in awe. The store is also very clean and neat. I will definitely be making this one of my stores to shop

I LOVE this particular Kroger! Ive always liked shopping at their stores, but this one is most convenient to me & is always a very clean, calm, & enjoyable shopping experience. I do 95% of my grocery shopping at this store, & also get my gas there as well. The staff is friendly, the selection & sales are good, & I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for one store at which to carry out the bulk their shopping. :)

Great location and its clean. Past that expect a poor experience. Produce variety and quality isnt great. Deli is okay when someone decides to show up. Very slow. Checkout is fast because you can do it yourself.

This Kroger grocery store was definatly nicer than the average. It kept a good stock, meat prices and quality were a better deal than the surrounding area and vegetables seemed fresh. I highly recommend getting a free membership card because the prices are much higher without a membership.

This is the newest of the Marketplace Krogers and its wonderful. I love the sky high ceilings and decor. I could (and have) spend half a day in here looking at everything from kitchenware and appliances to beautiful clothing. They also offer lots of organic and health foods.

Love Kroger! Always clean. Usually has good selection. If they are out of something and its on sale they will give you a rain check.

2 Stars only due to the fact that a store of this size, its variety of goods, and its ideal location offer great potential to an area in need of such, however — Items consistently ring up incorrectly - do not reflect sales price; I have purchased items that are expired or have been opened/ missing safety seals and missing quantity; more times than not there are not enough check out clerks and I always have to bag my groceries which is not a big deal but this points to either low staff, poor training, and/or poor mangagment of resources; I have overheard staff speaking of theft instances on several occasions while I am shopping which explains the added security cameras, added anti-theft devices to buggies and foods, and the sound of the alarm going off when every other customer exits. It doesn’t make you feel at ease while shopping at this store, and the stress of having to micromanage each item to make sure it rings up correctly is exhausting and a deterrent. Upper management, please take a closer look into these serious issues.

This store embraces the spirit of community. I love how everything is positioned for potential conversation. The people are friendly and helpful. There are great deals weekly. My personal favorite are the salad bar, restaurants, and produce sections. I also go there from time to time to work. They offer quiet spaces and free Wi-Fi. Im like really Kroger? Literally a one stop shop! I love going there just to be there.

It is the best Krogers in Shreveport by far. They have an excellent selection for groceries. They have a pharmacy, a gas station, and a deli. If you like shopping at Krogers, I cannot recommend this place enough.

OK. First its a plus to find a store in Shreveport area that has plenty of product. But it also has attentive, receptive employees. I was having a real problem with digital coupons and even though I tied up a lane for a while, the manager and cashier were serious about getting my problem solved. I went from frustrated to impressed. I will continue to drive past my local Mansfield Road Kroger to this one.

The Customer Service desk had a Be back in 15 minutes sign at 6:10 pm?? Other front in supervisors were not friendly. I ask if someone else could do a return and the front end supervisors sent me to the person at self check out - he didnt know how to do a return because I paid by a check written on 22 Oct 2018. After asking another front end supervisor he came back and said I would need to wait until the CS desk was open again because no one knew how to do this kind of refund. I ask if the manager could help and he pointed out the manager was working at the front entrance a few feet away. This Customer Service Supervisor looked at me and wasnt making a move so I had to ask him if he would find out if the manager could help him. He was reluctant to ask him but finally did. I pointed out that the check was written on 22 Oct 2018 and there was no problem as the check had already cleared the bank. As you can see, this transaction had a few areas of break down in what should have been a simple transaction. I do have to say again....the 2 other customer service supervisors were not friendly nor did they try to step in and help. By the way, why would a Be back in 15 minutes sign at the Customer Service desk be Ok after 6pm or at any time really? Its the CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK. During the time it took for my transaction, the line at the CS desk continued to grow and it was obvious these customers were not happy either. This whole issues was not pleasant and NOT the standard of Kroeger.

Love this place. Huge food selection as well as clothes and household items. Very similar selection as a Target but much better food and produce available.

This could be such a nice Kroger but it needs serious new management. Everytime I go shopping here, they are out of a ton of things. Shelves are empty and there are boxes of stuff everywhere needing to be opened and stocked. This is the second time I have gone there and purchased something expired and didnt notice until I got home. 9/10 the sale prices dont ring up at the register and I have to get someone to go look up the item in the store to see its supposed to be on sale ( make sure u pay attention to what things are ringing up people). Could be a nice store but its managed terribly.

Awesome store, been going to Fred Meyer/Kroger for upwards of 30 years, theyve always been top of the food chain. And they deserve the position.

I really like my new Kroger marketplace, the employees are so nice a always speak and ask if I need help . The shelves are stocked very rarely is a special not in stock . Its clean and offers a lot of hard to find products for the more diserning home cooks . P.S. the kroger app is a great way to save hundreds every year and manage your prescriptions.

Very nice newer cleaner store with an insane assortment of everything from food to clothes and house supplies. Similar to a wal mart but with better produce and meat selection.

Shop all the time at Kroger. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Prices beat other stores.

This place is so nice! No waiting in line to check out because only 2 registers are open. I had 2 items that I needed to do an even exchange for and the customer service desk was closed. They were so helpful. They allowed me to do the exchanges anyway. And without signing my life away or being treated like a criminal like at Wal-Mart!!! Every department is neat, clean, and organized. All the items have their price clearly marked. And theres a little bit of everything and for all ages. Ive also noticed that although the departments are real big, they have items that I havent seen in any of the other stores around town. The buggys are in good shape and they even have small ones for the kids to push around. If you need one of their buggys that you can ride on, they have a lot of them and they are very easy to find. Theres a designated area just for them and theyre always charged and ready to go. They are open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day with plenty of parking.

The main store is clean, fairly well staffed, and offers a wide selection of products. Their Clicklist department, however, needs some major work. Both times Ive used it I waited a MINUMUM of 35 minutes. This is for orders placed at least a day in advance. The problem with this from a customer service angle is that Krogers staff can apologize all day long for delays and try to explain these same delays but at the end of the day theyre not delivering the promised service, the core concept of which, ironically, is to save the customer time. Get your ducks in a row Kroger.
