As an edit it will probably be a long time before I come back. They would not let us taste a new flavor because they were out of taste tester spoons. Hello use a real spoon and heck I will pay you for it! And the way that young girl handled it was not correct. I may have purchased something still if you had acted like my business mattered.The staff is always friendly and the ice cream has these natural flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. We appreciate a place like this in Shreveport. I wish they had more seasonal flavors. I love this place but they seem to have a lot of the same flavors continuously. Although my two favorites together are Strolling Through Norton and The lavender one (it’s name has skipped my mind, I know it’s Purple something!). A new flavor my sister recently loved was the cherry and goat cheese (not sure the name of it). She said it tasted like cherry cheesecake!

Good homemade, fresh ice cream and snowballs. Clean, retro inside and places to sit outside. Cute names tied to the local area for flavors of ice cream. Kind, professional, and helpful staff. The best snowball with sugar-free flavoring Ive had. If you are in the area, highly recommend a visit. They are also near some neat shops. Enjoy!

The ice cream tasted great, it was a little more icy than creamy but I enjoyed it.

I am going back and my first experience was awesome and my milk shake was so refreshing walking back to my little hideaway on Linden Avenue!

The staff was so friendly and informative! They helped choose flavors and definitely catered to my indecisiveness with samples and splitting a single scoop between two flavors!Love supporting local businesses and they make all their ice cream here in town!

It was a cool little spot with really good ice cream. I tried the banana pudding in a waffle cone and it was pretty darn good.

Stopped by to get ice cream for the whole family. We tried 4 different flavors between the 5 of us, and each one had an extremely grainy texture. If felt like the ice crystals formed during the churn had grown MUCH too large. On top of that, the ice cream began to melt extremely fast, even in the cold weather. I would guess that too much air was incorporated during the churn.

The architecture of this place is beautiful and true to Shreveports history in the mid-century modern scene. Just being in the space of the building (and outside on the great turf patio) was enjoyable. The menu is full is classics and Southern style ice cream options. The names of many are based on local attractions or locations Shreveport natives will notice instantly. We ordered a double scoop cone and a milkshake, and they were delicious. Topped off with a friendly and helpful staff working diligently to maintain social distancing while both wearing masks and working quickly to create our delectable treats, our visit was overall a magnificent experience. Highly recommend.

This is my second day going in a row. They have the best ice cream EVER. They have great customer service. I eat yogurt, dont care for ice cream but they got me . they are the best right now in port city.

Incredible, every single time. We make a visit to Sweetport a weekly event! My favorite is the Murrells Milk Crunch in a Waffle Bowl - tastes like cereal milk and has fruity pebbles topped on it!

Tried Egg Nog ice cream. It was good, this was my 1st visit anxious to return and try other flavors.

Great flavors, local, home-made ice cream, loved the combinations, the ambiance, decoration and service. Staff was really patient and willing to explain all the options, will definitely visit often.

Super high quality local ice cream joint with a large selection of flavors. Loved their food truck but Im really glad to see they have a nice storefront now. I will be back for more.

I had the hamels amus mint on cone. it was great mint flavor it wasnt rock hard like some other places. then I washed it down with a root beer float. great experience. and the out door seating is nice.
