Im a cello student and still fairly new to theneighborhood, I had a difficult time finding the Violin shop at first but I finally found them and Im glad I did. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they have a good selection of books and accessories I would highly recommend Cadenza Violin shop as a first stop shop.

This rating is mainly based on the gentleman that served me. I only purchased a music book for my daughter, a beginning string student. The young man was very kind, answered questions for me and gave me some advice. I appreciate his knowledge.

I am very pleased with the service and the instrument. As the website says, I was given a convenient Saturday appointment to set up a rental. Marcus was knowledgable and helpful. Im renting a very nice double bass and I think the agreement is fair and easy. Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable and caring service. My granddaughter rented a violin from middle school to senior year! Small fee, auto payments, and now she has her own personal violin! We bought pop music song book and discovered you can easily turn a regular violin to an electric violin!

We did a rent to own on a beginner violin in 2016. We were told our payments went toward paying off the violin until we owned it. Last week we receive a call asking for an updated card for our February payment. I was shocked!! I thought we had paid that off a couple of years ago. I told them I didnt understand that this was at most a $400 violin and that means by this point we have paid about $1400!! He told me they had this problem with several people. That it wasnt explained correctly. You have to notify them that you no longer want to rent but to buy and then your rental money paid thus far can only account for 80%. This was absolutely never said to us!! All this time we thought that we had paid off the violin they were just steadily hitting our credit card. I was very upset and he perceeds to tell me he will give me some credit and I only need to pay another $140 to own it!!😡 I have already paid for this violin 3 times over!! They are theifs and a completely untrustworthy business. Run!

I absolutely love this shop. I stopped playing 2 years ago and I decided to get back into it. The sales person I spoke to today was very knowledgeable, helpful and she had a very calm and pleasant personality. So many artists in Shreveport have recommended Cadenza Violins as THE place to get violins from and after Covid knocked out a few of my favorite stores, I wanted to support the local community. Very happy I went and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I look forward to seeing them next week to pick up my order.

Fast, friendly, professional. Seriously, these guys were so polite and extremely helpful. I knew nothing about getting my daughter set up for strings, but they took care of it all. My daughter had a million questions, and they were kind and patient while responding to her questions. Highly recommend.
