Service was good, ordered over the phone and showed up exactly 15 minutes later, it was ready to go. Price was fair In my opinion, otherwise I would give 0 stars, the pizza was complete trash. Just a cheese pizza. Cold, doughy, undercooked, just so incredibly disappointing I couldn’t even eat it. It’s a cheese pizza and I don’t know how they managed to mess it up so bad
Im a big fan of all of the options and specials they have for pizza and sandwiches. Also the wings are juicy and crispy tossed in sauce.
I really want to rate this place higher, but then Id just be being extra kind. Front desk girl was okay. Maybe very busy, maybe a long day, but a smile goes a long way. Food compared to other ma and pa pizza places is on the expensive side. Pizza was not in my top three for the area I was in. French fries were boring, nothing to make them stand out from any other place or a cheap freezer section bought one. Chicken strips were good, but the price for that dinner was real restaurant quality price. I dont know I really wanted to love it and I think thats why Im giving it three stars.

Just ordered from this place. Customer service is not good after they switched from Goldens. Delivery people are nice. They messed up my order and took 45 min to bring me a new pizza and wanted the old one back. I called and asked why she wanted it back and I’m afraid they would serve it to another customer. I’ve worked in coffee shops and restaurants and a mistake in a order is never taken back from the customer because of sanitary reasons. Definitely never ordering back from here because who knows if we are being served a order that has been in other peoples hand.

Ordered two rib meals and 2 fish and chips the 6 tiny pieces of mc ribs were mcdonalds quality and the fish was overcookedguess just stick with pizza and subs which are good

From what I know Nick is the original founder and owner of the golden pizza chain and just recently bought back this place and he has made so many changes expanding the restaurant and adding new things to the menu. A huge thank you to Mark from me and the entire Sky Zone staff for delivering pizzas to us. Every time we see Mark walking through the door with a delivery, we rush over to greet him at the counter. He is always polite, funny and we love telling each other about our days in the short amount of time he is there until he has to leave for his next delivery.
Ordered online never got free small pizza. Asked for pizza to be well done looks like they went out of the way to undercook it. Large frie order had about 20 French fries and tasted like the fry oil was changed last month. Tiped 15$ on a 45 $ order. 60 $ I paid and was let down. You can go ahead and try your luck I will never eat there again
Wow! I cant believe how fast I got my food after ordering online. Under a half hour and everything was hot and fresh. Really liked their sauce, tasted like fresh tomatoes. Delivery driver was very friendly.
Nicks is a hidden gem, literally hidden from view behind the building. The menu has the typical wide mix that most pizza places offer. Our family favorites are pizza - which is not too greasy - and wraps. Everything has been exactly as ordered and delicious. Prices are good, too.
Best chickens wing, cooked just right, not half raw like some other places. Their grill chicken salad is always fresh.
This place must be under new management. This was not the same food I got prior; it was excellent. The funny part is that the taste was phenomenal and I had a cold can you imagine if I didn’t.Worth a call for delivery! Very impressed.

Weve been here a few times in the last month. The crust on their pizzas has consistently been done to perfection each time...light golden in color and just the right texture. We usually get a pizza with the works and like the added touch of having green AND red peppers. Next time we order, we plan on trying some of the other toppings to find a new favorite. Keep up the good work!

Not the best. My friend and I went out for Pizza. We found this place on Google maps. We drove to the location to find that it was located out back of the establishment in the picture. For a second we thought we should just go and not stop there. Despite our better judgment, we went in. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza with broccoli and onions. What we actually got was a buffalo chicken with bacon and onions. Also the cheese was undercooked. The kicker to this is the guy who took our order asked us twice if we wanted broccoli... We confirmed with a resounding yes.
Not a fan. If I remember correctly we ordered a plain cheese pizza and Caesar salad from them a little while back and the salad was completely wilted with weirdly soft croutons. The pizza was not of great quality either but reheated it was actually better.

Rude RUDE and dont use a card to pay!!!! I called to place an order mid order the phone rang. I was asked to hold, he answered the other call and took the entire order, even credit card number repeated back to the customer. I could have wrote the card number down if I wanted to, could here the whole conversation. He came back said hi ya what else. I said you shouldnt repeat peoples cards with other calls not even waiting on proper holds, I could hear everything. He said ok so you dont want to order goodbye and hung up. Rudest Entitled male owned business.

I dont know what planet theses other idiots are living on, or how they deal with people on that planet, but Ive never had any issues with this place.Ive been ordering from Goldens Pizza for... As long as I can remember. Five? Ten years? At least as long as theyve been open.The people on the phone are quick and to the point, all my orders are taken and done with in about one or two minutes, counting time for giving them my payment info.Ive never been treated rudely once, and the only times Ive ever had a communication breakdown was when someone with a VERY thick accent was answering one night. That slowed the order down to about 5 minutes, but nothing was wrong, and everything arrived hot and delicious.Prices are great, and arrival is always about 40 minutes. I live 15-20 minutes away depending on traffic.

I dont live in this state, I drive for a living. These guys are excellent, if and when I come back to the area, I will order again. I ordered a calzone, it got to me quickly. It was very tasty. They cut it into little pizza bites, never saw that before, but ended up happy they did, do to cramped quarters being in a truck made eating convenient. Glad I dont live near this place could be dangerous to my health, I would order daily. Only complaint I have is they didnt have ricotta.
Dont order the Itallian sub unless youre looking for a bologna sub. This sub had a 1/2 lb of bologna and a couple slices of salami and ham. I think they confused my order with a hot dog sandwich... Please change the ingredients of your sub or the name, because its all sorts of wrong...

I am really sadden by the decrease in the quality of their food. Use too love this place but in the last 6 months their service and food have really changed and I have no choice but to find good food and service elsewhere. I have complained in the pass about a spoiled chicken Caesar salad that I ordered and could not eat as well as there subs meat being too cold and not toasted as requested. There seems too always be some push back on my complaints as if there not valid because supposedly ( they never receive complaints) yeah right !! Just like the complaint I previously made and received my money back for the spoiled chicken months ago was never recorded or noted. Good bye with that rubbish!!!

Unfortunately theres nothing lower than 1 star But I guess it will have to do. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with lettuce and it was about 99% lettuce, 1% chicken (3 thin strips) with barely any buffalo sauce on them. Also ordered a salad that they seemed to mess up as well because none of the contents were chopped up. Im talking chunks of tomatoes and a leaf of lettuce the size of a plate. Will never order from here again.
Ive tried to order delivery from this place a couple times. The first time was okay. The food showed up and it was pretty good, even though it wasnt as hot as, say, Dominos. The second time, today, I placed an order and received a confirmation email at 11:25am. It is now 1:32pm and my lunch still hasnt arrived. Horrible service, I dont recommend them to anyone.

This place is so good, it makes me sad. Sad, because, I drove past it for two years. Every day. For two years. I could have been enjoying this food from the day I moved to Shrewsbury.Nicks Golden Pizza is the perfect pizza joint. Good thin-crust pizza, nice crunchy crust, not overly greasy, high quality cheese, and great prices. Which kind of works against me, because I buy way more food then I normally would, but its just delicious. I think Nick planned it that way, hmm.Im working my way through the sandwiches, as well. Always a good sign when that menu starts to look like a todo checklist. The bread is great. I dont know if its made in house of bought, but its that perfect crackly crust and soft interior. The deli meats are generous and tasty. Vegetables are fresh and crisp. The pastrami was really, REALLY, good.My only complaint is now my house is filling up with pizza boxes and I cant recycle them... a small price to pay :)

Ive been ordering from Golden Pizza for over a fews years now and knew the food was not the best around, but theyre the only pizza place willing to deliver pretty late and their prices are reasonable, so I accepted it. However, tonight my experience was particularly bad and the last straw for me. My order arrived with one sandwich incorrect so I called Golden to let them know, the man on the phone was very rude and insisted that I had ordered the sandwich they sent me. No resolution was offered, he told me I should speak more clearly next time. A little bit of customer service really does go a long way, especially when youve been a long time customer. Of the food that did come correctly, my fries were dry and barely warm- I couldnt eat them. However, my girlfriend was happy with her salad wrap, so they earned their second star.
I work overnights in Westborough so I was so excited when I came in and saw menus for Nicks on the front desk, specially since the only thing open past like 1030 out here is Dominos and the 2 times i ordered from them i regretted it. So, I looked up Nicks online and was going to place an order but it wanted a $20 minimum for online order. I almost didnt order because I only had $20 on me but I called to place an order and the guy who answered the phone was super nice, took my order no problem, read it back to me to confirm (which I really appreciated because I absolutely hate ordering food and my order getting messed up!) Then the food was here in 35min or so just like he said and the delivery guy was really nice as well! When I got my food it was still hot and it tasted great!(Which im so excited about because I absolutely hate when I order food and its cold or just gross tasting such a waste of money!) I will absolutely be ordering from here again and Im definitely going to let guests at the hotel know where they can get great pizza delivery around here now!

Golden pizza in Shrewsbury has gone way down hill since the new management. The online ordering system is awful and my order is never correct. I thought to give them one last chance tonight and attempted to call in an order. I told the guy I wanted to order the carry out special that was advertised on the website. The man didnt know what I was talking about, so I explained the deal as it is listed online, he still didnt know what I was talking about and stated that was for superbowl Sunday only and then hung up on me!!! Didnt even give me a chance to order something without the coupon!! Also I cant find any expiration date on the website coupon. I will not order from them again. There are plenty of other pizza places in Shrewsbury with much better pizza and incredibly better service!

Always an issue. Ordered $60 worth of food, came within a half hour. The MAJOR issue was that we ordered a calzone, NO CHEESE, she took it down and read the order back no problem. Order arrived and sure enough the calzone had cheese, despite the ticket saying “no cheese”. Called to rectify it and was essentially scolded for not informing them of the dairy allergy....ok. The woman reluctantly said they were sorry and would remake it quickly and “get it right out”. After 30 minutes of waiting I called to see where it was at, and was told abruptly they were busy and it would be leaving shortly. We were told three times to make sure we had the original calzone ready to give back to them when the new one was delivered......okayyyy. Keep in mind, I could throw a rock from my house to the pizza shop, it’s that close. Already paid a delivery charge so I’m not picking anything up. The woman had no patience and was not helpful let alone nice. So 45 minutes later, no calzone has arrived and half of my family ate dinner. After 60$ of ordered food and a 10$ tip, I feel like this is the last straw with these people. Don’t waste your time getting frustrated on this subpar food (should you ever receive it). 🙄

Very disappointed. Just got off the phone with the Shrewsbury location. Placed a delivery order through them.The lady who answered the phone and also took my larder was the sole reason four this negative review. As soon as she picked up she didnt say hello or thanks for choosing goldens, she immediately just said im going to have to wait two minutes before I order anteing or that she can give me attention. Then I finally start placing my order and the phone rings, she answered it as I am trying to place my order and starts telling the ppl whim called they gotta wait 2-5 min also. How are you supposed to get my order right if your not even paying attention to what I an saying..? All in all, very UN happy. Felt rushed off the phone and her tone seemed like she wanted to leave work. Possibly even early.

Unfortunately the women answering the phones was not intelligent enough to comprehend that concept, poor thing. The manager needs to grow some balls and deliver a pizza, ive never encountered this before and im disgusted at how half ass this pizza restaurant is run. What a joke
New ownership jacked up prices and cut down hours of operation. This makes goldens pizza no different from anyone else. They had a competative advantage over everyone else with their combination of quality and price but they lost it. I used to consider them first but now its probably cheaper to call papa ginos. I went from ordering goldens at least once a week, now i cut back to once a month.
