Was hoping with the new name change would also come with better service. If you ask anyone that takes their car here for service the favorite response is “We can’t diagnose the problem”. My brakes have been squealing for a couple months and after talking to some people that own the same vehicle with the same problem, I decide to have it looked at. Well after 2 calls and be no one answering I finally just go to the dealership to see what’s up and they tell me it’s been done they thought they called me. Guess what, they can’t diagnose the squealing brakes. I’m sure they have done something to them because they aren’t making any noise but you can always guarantee a We can’t diagnose the problem resolution.

Bought 2017 GMC Terrain in May from here. Informed them I wanted brakes fixed before sale. Well they did not fix, they only did a temporary fix by resurfacing the rotors. Within a month I was back complaining about brake and once again they did nothing. Only looked over brake system and said they met standards. So now before my first oil change is needed, I have made multiple repairs to this SUV. New tires, Brakes, Rotors, Serpentine Belt, and Windshield Wipers. All within the first 3 months of owning. These are all simple things the dealer should have done before selling me a Certified Pre-owned Vehicle. So if you plan on buying a car from here, be sure to triple check the basic things you would assume were check before sale.

Zack is the one that handled me getting my parts and setting up the dates and times and I believe the mechanic was named Todd and I am overly satisfied with how my car turned out everything got fixed and a very timely manner a lot sooner than what I thought I was extremely happy when I got it back and everything that I wanted fixed was fixed and working properly the first time I dont even screw with backyard mechanics anymore I always take it to this dealership and Ive always handled everything A+ rating

Bought a 2017 Cadillac CTS 1/23/21 on June 15 this year the car shifted down on its own and multiple dash lights came on. Limped it home and when my husband test drove it, it was fine. Ok cool. June 17. Does the same thing, down shifted engine rev’d so many lights and warnings I thought I was in a disco. Had it towed to Germain Cadillac in Sidney due to Jeff Wyler in Cincinnati being out of the allowed miles for tow. Germain Cadillac had us come get it on June 22. They said they couldn’t get the carto repeat the problem. I didn’t drive 5 miles before it did it again, back to Germain Cadillac, this time all of the gauges were bouncing around, more and new warning lights were on. Just left the car at the dealer since it was past 5pm. July 1st, rinse and repeat. This time mechanic was still there but only hooked the car to the computer, didn’t drive it. It’s was around 4:45. Yay! Quitting time. Germain Cadillac started thinking it was something I was doing or something I carried causing an interference with the car. It’s not, I have the exact same phone, charging cable, blah, blah as I did when I bought it 6 months ago. They had me come to them to test drive with the mechanic. He plugged the car into the computer, he then satin the passenger seat, had me sit in the drivers seat, keep my foot off the brake and he pushed the start button. Car was acting up, gauges bouncing, warning lights, everything. We drive it in that condition and they send all the information GM. Today they tell us they’ve done everything GM said to do and can’t get the car to act up. Told us to come get the car, we refused since they didn’t find anything wrong with the car and therefore couldnt have fixed anything. Asked them to work with us in replacing the car. They told us they couldn’t give us full price because it has mechanical issues. You know, the same car that they just told me was safe to drive.

$8,000 for a ford flex ecoboost vehicle with a new trans in it that has no fluid. New turbo leaking oil and one oem thats been in the vehicle since the factory line. Car is a rust bucket air bag is disabled and the passenger side gutter on the bottom of the door is falling off due to rust beware! The car is worth no more than $4000, expect to buy a new engine if not a new trans too.

If there was a 0 star i would give it. The service department is absolutely horrendous. Every single person on the service team is very very rude. The service manager hung up on me twice and they refused to fix my car because it was under warranty and their mechanics arent smart enough to diagnose issue. The GM is literally impossible to get ahold of. Noone will give his contact information. I will never be back here again and will never buy another Chevy in my life due to this place. Word of mouth spreads very quick. I urge you all to stay far away.

Take truck in to get a sound coming from transfer case fixed and asked to have a tech ride along so I can show/tell him what I’m hearing and one of the service lady’s Sherry told me no need for that they will be able to figure it out. Long story short $2700 later and the sound still shows up when in 4 wheel drive only and no compensation of my bill and I’m being told they had 3 techs verify it was the transfer case. This is why I asked for a tech to ride along in the first place

Took my 2014 Equinox in for recall work and asked for oil change and check brakes. Approved repairs for estimated price then magically had $350 of extra charges because the technician broke part of the bearings beating the brake drum off. I explained this was not my fault and would not pay for that and the dealership was responsible for that part if the bill. No communication from the dealership for a week when I called to see what was going on. They had put the wheel assembly back together with no repair (and no ABS brakes) and thrown it on the lot. I told them I wanted it fixed but still didnt feel I should be paying for their mistake after I paid for the previously agreed on repairs. Another week passes and I had to call again. Never had been touched and the service manager claims I didnt tell her to fix it. Well then why did I leave it there? Now fixed after 2 weeks and I had to pay for the techncian mistake. Also got a note on the ticket saying we were banned from returning to the dealership. So much for customer care.

Very disappointed in the service department. I have a 2015 Cadillac SRX Premium 26,000 mi that is still under the preferred warranty. I called them to schedule service on my car and ask them for a loaner car. They told me a car would not be available until the following Thursday, a week out. I scheduled the service. Went to the service department as scheduled Thursday morning 7/25/2019. This was about a 25 minute drive from where I live. I was informed that they did not have a loaner car for me. They told me they tried to call me, yeah they called me while I was sitting outside the service department waiting for them to open the door. The whole purpose of scheduling service a week out was to make sure they had a loaner car for me. They had to re-schedule my appointment for the following Tuesday. I ended up cancelling the appointment and calling another dealer (Dave Arbogast) that got be in immediately and provided a loaner car on the spot. My car was repaired by end of day Friday. The only reason I went to Dan Hemm in the first place was because Cadillac customer care said I should take it to a Cadillac dealer. I know now that any GM dealer can perform the service. I will never do business with Dan Hemm again.

This was the most outstanding customer service that I have ever experienced. The sales team had me preapproved, had me dialed in to two different vehicles, and had my paper work ready to go before I even stepped foot on the property. They took care of me hand and foot, it was like they had been preparing for me to show up all week long. Once I got to the F&I office, there was no hassle and no push to sell me something that I didnt need. Kyle, Carla, and Dan all made my first car buying experience a memorable one. I will be buying my vehicles from them from here on.

The customer service department at Dan Hemm is terrible. The service department does shotty work and their service managers are incredibly rude. They had my car for almost a week and I had to call to know anything about my car. Once I called they were “unable to give me information at the time” and promised to return a call and never did. Finally, work was done on my vehicle without my consent and then a voicemail was left on my phone detailing a large bill. I am overall very displeased with the entire service department at Dan Hemm and will be taking my vehicles elsewhere from now on.
