My car completely died on me where my key fob was not even working. I immediately called Euro Car Doctor and Kevin always puts me at ease. He has made numerous stressful car situations into a not so bad situation. I have an older Landrover and as expected, part and maintenance need some attention. Kevin really tries to work with me and find the best solution to any given problem. I started coming here last year and I will not trust anyone else to fix my car. ECD is top notch and they will do whatever they can to help without taking advantage of you.

I used to come here when it was Russells Automotive. My first visit I was greeted by one of the new owners. Its been the best independent auto shop experience ever! Euro Car Doc (ECD) approaches a car holistically. They map out which car repairs are currently needed the most. Hence, making it easy to assess present and future car repairs. The repair diagnostics are spot on and they know their craft. More importantly, they are honest! How do I know, Ive been a customer since they have opened. If youre someone that does not maintain your car, trust they are going to know and you may think they are pricey. Your car will feel like new once they complete the repairs. If you regularly maintain your vehicle and keep it on schedule they will always recommend, the most significant repairs and put you on a suggested schedule of repairs. These gentlemen are NOT trying to rip anyone off. They believe in good business, and repeat customers. I appreciate their Expertise, Knowledge, Honesty, and Professionalism so much so, as a token of my appreciation, I am buying the entire staff lunch! 5 star service from Kevin & David! These guys are the real deal. We took my Dad’s Mini Cooper because the dealer quoted us a crazy amount for a belt and alternator problem. We took a chance on Euro Doctor because of their awesome reviews but I was still skeptical. Right from the start Kevin was easygoing and assured me they would beat the dealers quote by 40%. Upon arrival we were welcomed by both the owner David and Kevin. The other reviewers are correct this shop is super clean! They also offers us refreshments and their waiting room is very clean. They called us and emailed us to let us know what was wrong with the car - not only did they beat the quoted price, but they email you detailed pictures of the overall problems your car has. We found out the alternator wasn’t the issue that it had a belt problem and water pump problem. They even told us the water pump could wait but that it needed to be replaced soon. I highly recommend Euro Doc and will be telling my friends and family to bring their cars here. You’ll get honest, straight forward and quality repairs at less than dealer prices!

I was drawn to this shop as I pass by it everyday on my commute from home to work. I was instantly drawn to the shop, from the street, due to the fact that this shop is extremely clean and welcoming. Once I saw that they offer Castrol Motor Oil as their shop oil, I was sold. A customer review below talks about them being expensive, but I now see that it is because the attention to quality that this shop focuses on. Theyre prices seemed competitive to me either way. My Car is my biggest investment currently, and I wont short on the maintenance. You get what you pay for, rings true in this industry. Tony and Wilbert are extremely friendly and helpful. Outstanding experience!! I was referred by a friend, and now see all the positive (and well earned comments) on the reviews. They took the car immediately, were well prepared, the seasoned Volvo expert went through the car with a fine tooth comb, and we got immediate report complete with pictures within an hour! This was my first time to use this Company to make general repairs and maintenance to my car. We have always used the dealership for these services.Upon arrival, I was met with the Service Writer and we began the processing of identifying the items needed for service or repair. We agreed on their assessment of the problems and instructed them to complete the work. They completed the work that day which was helpful. So far we have not had any problems with the repairs.As a first time customer Ill admit I was uncomfortable in the beginning since it was a new relationship. However, I was pleased with the courteous nature of the staff and believe that I made a good choice to use their services for my repairs. Will definitely be returning for any future services and maintenance needs.

We took a Mini Cooper in because the entire right tail light assembly went out. The front desk person was friendly and helpful and even though we contacted them on a weekend he still was willing to take a look at it but needed parts from the dealer for repairs. Once the parts came in he promptly contacted us and we dropped the car off, got a free ride back to the house, and once the repair was done they called us. The estimate was very fair and final cost was lower than actual estimate. They checked to make sure that the error message was gone and the lights worked and they cleaned the car. I have never experienced such a service from an auto repair shop before. Thank you guys.

The mechanics are good, certified, so the quality of work is good. That being said, I’ve had too many issues with the service advisors misquoting the service that I was getting, and in one case leaving me careless over the weekend because they didn’t leave my car outside the garage to pickup after they closed and after I paid for my service over the phone. This might seem trivial but when it happened more then 70% of the time, going over past service records. I’ve been there before when Russell used to own the shop and I never had those problems so it is kind of problematic. I’m contemplating if I’ll go back or find another European auto shop or just go the dealer route since work and parts at the dealership are guaranteed for life.

I’ve been looking for a reputable shop that is knowledgeable on a BMW M3. Initially spoke to Dillon and Wilbert on the phone and I felt good vibes. Wilbert took car of my car issues in a fair and timely manner. The staffs I dealt with were very courteous. It’s also both good quality work and the price is very fair. Long Beach BMW quoted me 2X that much just to do the diagnostics.I’ll be back with my wife’s Volvo. They’re keepers!

I had another really great experience with Dylan and Kevin the other day they really take customer service and quality work to a whole new level! I was even chatting it up with another customer who had been a long time customer and his experience years ago is the same till this day. I own a 2003 BMW 325i that was in need of some major repairs. All of the staff were knowledgeable as well as professional. After performing a thorough diagnostic, they informed me immediately on everything my car needed and was even given pictures of the recommend repairs.

My check engine light came on and I was overdue for a service. When I brought the car in, they said they would do a full inspection and let me know what they found. The previous mechanic shop I went to had suggested over a thousand dollars in repair items that had no affect on my car’s functioning. Euro doctor found what was really wrong with the car and fixed the problem at a good price. When I left, my car was running much smoother than before and they restored my lost power with the tune up. Will definitely be going back.

They are fast friendly (offered me something to drink)and well knowledged, I told them what I wanted to get worked on and they did a inspection on my car called me before doing anymore work to let me know what should be a priority and what can wait. I spent a lot! Around $1400 but they only had my car for one day (offered to get it to me same day but I wasnt in a rush) my car runs smooth and is so quite plus I have a two year warranty whether I am in long Beach or a different state! Plus they applied my AAA discount which lowered it by a $100. Overall I am pleased, impressed and will continue to use their services.

Totally recommend Euro Docs from oil changes to larger projects. My Subaru has been in good hands with them. They do a great job in a timely manner and don’t try to upsell you. Trustworthy. I notice after they finish a manager seems to go under the hood and take it for a lap to make sure all is well.They even offered to give me a ride somewhere but I have no problem waiting in their nice clean customer area.

I’ve been looking for an honest and reliable car repair shop for a while for my Mini Cooper Coupe, and I finally found it here, at Euro Car Doctor. My car was sputtering at starting engine, brought the car here, they performed a diagnostic search for the issue, and found the issue, did the repair on my car, and my car now is driving like a champion again. My first time using these guys. Shop open at 8am. I arrived a few minutes early of my service appointment at 0800. However, did not have to wait til 8am to be checked in. The staff was very friendly and professional. Shuttle ride home and pick up was very efficient. Car service performed to specification.

Each time I have my wifes E-350 serviced here, the staff is 100% customer focused! The quality of service is excellent and the facility is welcoming. Not to mention they do not nickle and dime you with unnecessary charges for minor items like charging you a $65 service fee for changing a $10 bulb that takes 5 minutes, and NO up selling! Euro is the new home for both me and my wifes Mercedes and Jaguar when service is required.

SUPER honest, trustworthy, and won’t rip you off unlike other mechanic shops (stay away from car manufacturer dealerships)!Toyota dealership tried to tell me my engine was leaking oil badly and needed to have the cover resealed which would have cost me $2,300! I wanted a second opinion and took it to Euro Car Doctor. The mechanic showed me underneath the car where the supposed leak was on the engine and it was barely noticeable. He told me it was normal and wasn’t in need of repair and saved me from unnecessary repair expenses.

Very trustworthy and professional, I had a bad transmission issue with my 7 series BMW, they were able to pin point the issue and were able to repair my car at a reasonable price. Absolutely wonderful experience -- cant say enough about these guys and the work they do!Brought my 2009 MINI Cooper S in for an oil change and to get a second opinion on some maintenance work I needed done and was immediately put at ease by Wilberts demeanor, his expertise and his integrity. We mapped out a plan and I told him Id be back in a month to start scheduling the repairs. Low and behold I was then rear-ended on the freeway two weeks later and my car seemed totaled! It was the first major accident Ive ever been in and because I didnt know what else to do I had my MINI towed to Euro Car Doctor. Thats when I first met Tony, who, just like Wilbert, immediately calmed my nerves and assured me that they would help me with whatever I needed. And help they did! In minutes Tony had set me up with a rental car and then helpfully had his dad drive me over to Enterprise to pick it up, which was so nice considering how shaken up I was after the accident. Over the following six weeks, Euro Car Doctor has continued to help me at every turn -- offering advice on how to negotiate with the at-fault partys insurance company about my total loss settlement, asking around to see if anyone in their collective networks may be selling a used MINI Cooper similar to the one I lost, providing trustworthy expertise during the inspections process for the used car I eventually found and wanted to purchase, etc.Truly, I cant recommend this shop enough. Everyone Ive interacted with there is knowledgeable, professional, and kind, and I will certainly keep coming back to them again and again. Listen everyone, if your not a pilot, doctor, or not making enough money..they will know..Willbert has a hole wall covered in certificates, yet he can’t pin the problem my Saab is having..I took it twice and the last time I took it he stated that my thoroler was dusty😂. And their exact words where Your car is ready and good to go!!!! Guess what it started shaking again ...like it still wants to turn off after I replaced a fuel pressure sensor and the oil pressure sensor..Bummer now I have to find another mechanic...it’s better some business then no business, but not all think this way..Good luck in future Euro Car Doctors

Great private European car shop. I worked at a car dealership in parts for 4 years for Porsche Audi, and I’ve seen the run-of-the-mill of what private shops have the offer. I recently moved to Long Beach from the bay area, and was looking for an honest high-end European car mechanic. This shop came heavily recommended by the queen of Long Beach. My E60 V10 BMW M5 was having misfiring problems as well as belt squeaks, and needed and oil change as well as rear brakes. Work that I was quoted at over $8000 from BMW with additional recommendations for power steering hoses that were not necessary. I came in at a little under $4000 for this work, and I was highly pleased by the prompt 48 hour service that I was given multiple discounts on. I will be coming here for all my European car service needs.

I brought my Volvo XC60 into these guys and its the first time I feel like I havent been screwed in California. Theyre honest guys and took the time to explain the work I needed (and why). Fair pricing and didnt push anything I didnt want. Bobby and Wilbert were my mechanics and they definitely know their stuff!

I havent had luck finding an honest and good mechanics shop here in Long Beach and my mechanic in North Hollywood I used for 25 years sold out. I found Euro Car Doctor on the internet, read many reviews on then and decided to give them a shot. I wasnt in for just the usual maintenance; I had a couple of major issues and when they told me what was needed well; my sin-in-law in Fort Collins, CO is a top mechanic and I had him contact them for the details and he was very pleased to tell me to go ahead.. They noted not only what they were doing but how and how was important to my son-in-law.. I just got my car today and so far great and they took care of what was truly needed with nothing not needed added in.

I found this company on Yelp and went to then with my 2009 BMW 338i. Mario and Anthony were both welcoming and knowledgeable, so I left the car for complete brake and annual lubricant service. They were most flexible in accommodating my schedule despite a full shop and had the car ready as promised.As a recent retiree, I look forward to building a strong relationship with them in taking care of my fine but aging vehicle.Update: 22APRI had a failure of the Anti-skid System. I drove to their shop on a Friday, they diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes, ordered the replacement part and set up a Monday morning appt for me in another 5 minutes.I returned at 9am today, Monday, and was out within 45 minutes with my vehicle completely repaired.FIVE STARS AGAIN!!. 👍

They take the time to thoroughly explain the issue and provide several options and honest feedback without the high pressure sales and gouging methods like a lot of mechanics try to do.I used to look for places who can do whatever repairs or maintenance the cheapest or seemingly will give you a better deal, but those guys usually just tell you what you want to hear or they dont really care (or know) what the issue is and then you end up having to come back frequently and pay again for another service. Then they basically tell you you get what you pay for. Its totally worth it to take it to a professional place like this and get it done right the first time. Youll notice the experience here is night and day compared to most other mechanics.Also, the shop is also very clean and the guest lounge is very comfortable, should you need to wait there- unlike most filthy mechanic shops where youre afraid of touching anything. Its the only place I go to with all of my cars and I would (and do) highly recommend this place to everyone I know who needs work done for their cars.

I was reluctant on where to take my 2018 Bmw for exhaust modification but through yelp and viewing their reviews knew I had to give Euro Car doctor a try. To my amazement the staff were all super friendly and most of all knowledgeable. Wilbert and his team instructed me on the ideal modifications that would give me the sound I wanted and not voiding my factory warranty.
