AK is greedy... he changed my rear brakes, cabin filter and changed 2 fliuds. His fee was outrageous, but im not done with him. Montgomery County govt will know about him

Thanks to AK, I now have peace of mind when it comes to my vehicle.I have only had my luxury vehicle for a short while when I began to experience a seriously annoying knocking sound in the wheel-well of the driver-side front tire after being serviced at another location close by. Unfortunately, that close by location could not identify the issue and indicated that I should just ignore it.Nevertheless, I remembered walking by AKs garage and reading the signage specializing in my type of vehicle. I could not ignore the sound any longer, so I took my car to AK s garage to see if ANYONE could help with the matter. Thankfully I met AK himself and from initial meeting to completion of the vehicle repair I could not have been happier with my experience.I liken this experience to a parent and 1st time childcare...you are hesitant to leave your beloved one with a stranger to care for them without your supervision, but you reluctantly do so because the provider has put you at peace buy walking you through the process of the day and assuring you in the most comforting way that they are in good hands.This is what AK did for me...he allowed me to be engaged in the repair process by seeing the issue directly and talking me through the resolve of the problem. AK provided with the final cost and the timeline required to complete the repairs. AK delivered on all fronts and even allowed me the use of another vehicle as to not be stranded or beholden to the garage waiting.AK is professional, knowledgeable, informative, understanding of your needs, accommodating and most importantly, caring of his patrons. AK drove out to my car to jump start it, and then provided friendly and quality service. AK made sure to call before performing any services on the car to let me know how much everything would cost, and didnt push for anything I didnt need. I would recommend his services to anyone.

I have been customer of AK motors for a number of years. I was introduced to AK by my wife who has been a happy customer long before me. She saw how frustrated i was with dealer service and suggested I try AK for a second opinion on a suspect diagnosis I had gotten from my dealer. He came back with a diagnosis that made more sense and saved me considerable money. I have been with him ever since for both my vehicles. I believe he is fair, honest and very competent.

Ive been taking my car to AK Motors since 2006. What I really like about this shop is that AK doesnt push me to fix/change things for the sake of it. Hes trying to find solutions to help me and not just to take my money. Theres been a few times when hes even suggested not doing anything because the problem wouldnt warrant fixing it -- and he explains to me why. Its so refreshing to find someone you can trust in this kind of business, instead of taking advantage of you because you dont know how to fix a car (or just because you are a woman!). I used to go to the dealer and sure enough, they have a waiting room with fancy leather sofas and free muffins (my car is a made by a so-called luxury brand) but with the money they charged me, I could have bought the leather sofa and the muffins!!!

He helped me buy my current car in 2000 and has serviced it from day one. It operates as well today as the day I bought it thanks to his watchful eye. As a business owner in downtown Silver Spring I gratefully found AK Motors about ten years ago. I had an good but old car and AK kept it running well. AK is honest and generous, great qualities when asking for advise about an old car. The shop will give me lifts to my office when needed. Now my husband and his daughter also trust AK Motors with their cars.

Had a hitch installed. Fast, quality service for a reasonable price. Wanted way less $$ than Meineke for the hitch install.

Ive been going to AK for years and will continue to bc its hard to find an honest mechanic. He tells you everything he finds and when its a daunting price will tell you which repairs are priorities and will be straight with you. Ive referred many people to him, my whole family uses him and everyones been pleased
