The products here are good quality and live up to expectations, but the reason I keep coming back is the people. The staff sat with me for over an hour as we tried to match a paint color to a marker I had brought with me. They are very knowledgable and go above an beyond to try and help you.

We often buy paint for various projects from Sioux City Paint and Decorating. Recently, when moving out of our home in Cedar Rapids we accidentally dinged on our walls and needed to know the paint color as the buyers were moving in in less than 24 hours. We called Jim to find out the name of the color as we had no touch-up paint for back up. Jim went above and beyond to help us figure out what that color was when we purchased it from him over 3 years ago. We found the name and was able to get replacement touch up paint ASAP. We are so thankful for the customer service found at a locally owned shop. It is ALWAYS, always, worth shopping and supporting locally owned.

I have sent dozens of our own customers over to Sioux City Paint over the years and finally was in a position were I needed their help. I am building a deck and my mother told me about a product they have called ArborCoat. The stuff is amazing for $40.00 a gallon. The staff here are quite friendly and quick to help and chat while the can is being mixed. Their hours are convenient and they are locally owned....which helps our local economy!
