The technicians are good but I had constant issues with the office staff. Borderline harassed to get the install done but I had a family death and had to put it off. When there were issues the office staff tried to divert blame or tried to make me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about. No gas to the generator and she basically said the generator guy didnt know what he was doing. Turns out the T-block they installed was bad. No big deal as parts fail, even new parts. Eventually got that fixed then smelled gas throughout the backyard. They at least got someone out here fast for that. Turns out there was a fitting they installed that was loose on the regulator and bled out all my propane for one of my 120 gal tank into the atmosphere. I was told there would replace the gas and they never did. I am tired of calling them to fix the issue only to be made to feel like I am doing something wrong. At least I bought my tanks outright so I am not forced to do further business with them.Edit: Parker did reach out and Renee was very receptive and professional. We have reached a resolution I am happy with to the level that I am willing to continue business with them.

Called Parker out to install wall heater and run lines for it.The tech was AWESOME. He was informative, kind, proud of the company he works for and the work he did inside our home. Had only kind words for co workers, I was asking questions, he was very personable.Reliable! Was there when they said they would be. Had another company, after waiting for more than a month, to stand me up.The office staff are absolutely amazing. Kind, personable, and answered questions I had. They know how to do their job.I’ve never dealt with another company that I’d refer to anyone. I definitely would say if you’re in need of propane call PARKER. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I was new to the area when I moved to Smithfield, and Parker Gas was one of those companies that made my transition smoother. Although the office was super-busy when I stopped in, the ladies at the front counter were very courteous - and didnt treat me like a number. The manager helped me set up a payment plan - which helped a lot! The guys who were scheduled to do the install had a busy day with a hard job prior to mine - but they gave me the option of rescheduling or still completing mine at the end of the workday. They stayed on to start the job, and worked by flashlight to get it completed the same evening - all with a sense of humor and a smile. 😁👍

Every aspect of my interaction with Parker Gas was excellent. From the customer service on the phone to the connection process with Gene. My install was not as straightforward as expected and Gene tried literally everything to get my fireplace to work. He was so kind and didn’t show any frustration, even though it was a challenging install. He knew how excited I was to have a working fireplace for Christmas and he did everything he could to make that happen. He was persistent and didn’t give up until my fireplace was working. The service since has been great and I’ve never run out of propane. I’m so thankful I chose Parker.

Parker Gas in Smithfield is amazing!! When I moved into my house in 2019, they were very helpful in getting my new fireplace setup and explaining how it works as I have never had a gas fireplace before. Ive had one issue with the fireplace not starting (gas line was most likely clogged) and within minutes of calling their service desk, I had an appointment scheduled for the next week to get it fixed. Hilariously, after I called to make the appointment, the fireplace started working on its own again so I gave them a call to let them know to cancel my appointment. Everyone, including me, laughed and figured its an appliance that wants to work when it wants to, but they were very happy to have helped and would be available if any other issues came up. I would highly recommend them!!

I started depending on Parker Gas in the fall of 2016. During that time I was enduring chemotherapy, followed by radiation. Parker Gas brought the tank and gas and allowed me to make payments because treatment wasn’t cheap. They are always there to help with whatever need a customer may have, such as those like myself on a will call basis and needed soon, or forgiving those interest fees (thank you!) when it’s needed.

Parker Gas has provided excellent service to our residence over the years. Very professional when they installed my tank and removed my old gas line. One year I had trouble lighting the gas logs and they came out and cleaned the unit and got it lit for the coming winter. They automatically deliver fuel each year based on my usage and I have never run too low. My wife and I count on our gas stove for backup heat if power fails. We also enjoy the gas log stove to warm the home quickly on cold winter days. We feel secure and cozy knowing we have a solid provider that is able to meet our needs.

Parker Gas to the rescue, for me. We settled on our house in Smithfield, NC in Dec of 2016. The former owner had let his Suburban Propane tank run about empty, and there was a particularly nasty cold spell that December. I called Suburban for about 10 days and they just would promise to come out, not never showed up. We started running electric space heater to save gas. Out of desperation I called Parker Gas and they couldnt have been nicer or responded any quicker. I think they came out that same cold December evening and pulled out the old Suburban tank and put in their tank. They didnt have an above ground tank in stock so they brought me a 250 gallon underground tank and installed it above ground. They wanted to help in any way they could. So I highly recommend Parker Gas. In my opinion, theyre the best!

I decided to change from Amerigas to Parker. I called Amerigas in February 2021 they could not provide service until April 2021. I moved to the area in June and Parker Gas was here when I needed them. I did not have the tank, so they brought out the tank, filled it up, and were on their way. The installer came back the next week to check things out to make sure everything was in working order. I have never had to call them to fill up my tank. They just show up. And their customer service is amazing. I was having trouble with a bill, called and spoke with a young lady in the office, and the problem was fixed the next day. We moved into our new home January 9th of this year. Being married to the same man for 56 years is more challenging than getting the LP gas tank and fill up from Parker Gas. They did a great job.

When we first moved into our house and had our tanks installed, we racked up a pretty hefty bill and it took us a year to get caught up, but they didnt pull the heat out from under us, and now were even paying in advance. I will recommend Parker Gas to anyone looking for a new provider.

I think Parker gas is the best in Johnston county. I highly recommend them. Many of the local companies give you a big run around about when they can install a tank for you. You can never get a straight answer from them. But with Parker gas, they gave me a very precise plan and an extremely accurate estimate for when it will be accomplished. Then they proceeded to beat that by nearly a full week. I was impressed with the knowledge and expertise at Parker Gas. One company had me believing they were the best around .. and when I asked for a better solution they got mad about it. What nerve I must have to ask for something better! I am thankful they backed away because then I found Parker Gas .. a great place to deal with. Be careful with the old school experts. They might not be installing the best solution for you
