If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Absolutely DO not come here if you want the best customer service. Do not come here if you want the job done correctly. Do not come here if you want the job that was not done correctly to get fixed. No one cares. *The people in the stores themselves, they try, and they do what they can. Someone higher up needs to fix how things get done for this large company where people are just $$$ and Numbers!

From beginning to end my experience was exceptional! I went there to get some electrical wire and ended up buying a refrigerator...lol. The sales associates were very pleasant and helpful. They helped me get the refrigerator to the checkout area and then assisted me in placing it in my truck. The manager on duty came out to make sure that everyone was safe and even got more help to prevent any issues. After they got it onto my truck the manager help me strap it down with the straps that i purchased from inside. I couldnt be so appreciative on how I was treated and that meant a lot. Great customer service!

I was encouraged by staff in the paint department to keep my paint types/colors safely on file in the what I assume is a shared network database all stores can reference, when I began a large project.Today, on my fifth or sixth trip to replenish colors, the paint counter staff told me my file no longer exists. I will need to go back home (without paint) and piece together my record using old cans, and come back in with photos of each. Staff was disinterested in the issue and offered no solution or compensation.DO NOT TRUST Home Deopt to save your paint colors. I am wasting an entire day I had planned to use to paint. And if i didnt have cans at home to look back at, I would simply be screwed.I am beyond disappointed with them.

I brought my dog in and as we were going by the garden shop my dog started peeing on a very large mum. The associate watering the plants saw it and proceeded to raise her voice at me, scolding me because my dog peed on a 22.00 mum!!! I found it very unprofessional like i had any power over the situation. She also followed me around the store! I will not be shopping at this store again

I want to start by saying I have spent over 30 thousand dollars at this store. I go in to buy flooring and they have it advertised for .79 a sq foot. When they go to put it in the computer it comes up .99. After 30 minutes of the sales associate trying to fix the price he tells me if I want it for that price I needed to go to Plymouth to pick it up. Ill spend the $5000 I planned to spend today at Loews. I always thought they had to give you the advertised price

One of the better Home Depots around. Normally I dont have much use for the Depot, save for bulk purchases, but the past few visits were tolerable... if not precisely pleasant. Ive been led astray in the past by employees at different locations who, while willing to give verbal directions, were unable (or unwilling) to physically guide me to the item I cant seem to find. Happily, this hasnt been the case at the Greenville location, a fact for which I am profoundly grateful. Pretty much EVERY employee I encountered unhesitatingly stopped and led me, with unerring accuracy, to the item I desired.Some things, I feel, I shouldnt have to ask, because they SHOULD be inherent to the stores design. Fr instance, upon entering the main entrance (located on the south end of the store), a first-time customer SHOULD see a sign indicating that the indoor aisle numbers extend out to the Outdoor section of the store, yet they dont. Because there is no sign! Because (and heres the kicker), while I can research the damned aisle and bay online, it doesnt mention that aisles 60 to 60something are actually Outside! To me, those little details... those (almost) insignificant items... are the billboards that scream WE LOVE THE CUSTOMER MORE THAN WE LOVE MAKING MONEY!! Granted, we ALL know that it isnt true... but the illusion makes us feel good and helps us spend more money.Located on the southwestern corner of Smithfield Commons, beside Michaels and Staples. Or... on the left of the first stop sign after entering the plaza. Off of Putnam Pike/Ave.(Rte.44) and adjacent to Rte. I-295.

My first trip involved trying to work with cabinet department. They said they only have one person that knows how to order and she is on maternity leave. Isn’t cabinetry part of the core of your business? Crazy. No one is going to wait weeks or months to do an order. My second disappointment was reserving equipment and being told the night before pick up that it was canceled as they rented to someone else. What’s the point in reserving then? And why don’t you tell people it doesn’t hold the machine before they line up ppl to work but can’t. Very frustrating.

I love Home Depot. They have it all. I mean I know its not the top of the line merchandise that you could get in a plumbing supply store or tile or any store dedicated to 1 product line but they have pretty much everything and you can still find quality stuff there. I use the app on my phone alll the time to see if they have the item and what isle its its in. Whats nice is you can check other stores also. Ive only used the shop on the app and pick up in store a couple times and it works fine but if youre in a hurry to get your item just go. All and all Im never disappointed when I go to Home Depot.

Typical home depot. A plus is the store is generally well stocked. Minus is beware of shopping carts. Store like most home depots does not out a lot of effort in returning carts. So potential for you vehicle to be damaged in working lot. So park strategically

I just wasted 25 minutes in the isle with the window blinds looking for help. there was 1 person working the department who was working with a couple. Another employee came back with a KFC bag for what I believe to be the missing 2nd employee. He went looking for her with no success. He left the bag on the vacant desk and told the 1 man working that he couldnt find her anyware, checked the breakroom and outside. ultimately I left the 3 blinds I needed cut in the carriage and left.Extremely disappointed in this experience, what should have been a pretty quick trip in turned I to a huge waste of time.Would recommend shopping somewhere if you know your going to actually need customer service. If I could have used the machine I would have trimmed the blinds myself to avoid the annoyance of having to drive to Lowes.Michael McCann

Bought a door to be delivered, had specific instructions to call when it arrived, and left our garage door open for the delivery drivers to leave the door. Nobody called, they left the door in a wooden crate at the end of our driveway. I called and it took 40 minutes to finally get a representative at which point me and my 70 year old father were already moving the door on a handtruck. Just follow the simple directions. Door was fine, delivery and service were poor.

They will not let you in without a mask. They are rude and unprofessional. They said they go by there own rules and not the governor. They basically threw me out. I went to the store in Johnston no problem. I have blocked airways I cannot use the mask. Boycott this store at all cost. Go to Lowes where they treat people with respect!!!

Besides the obvious getting of supplies for my home and work, this Home Depot is one of my favorite places to walk my dog. She loves people and they have cookies for her at customer service. No matter the weather, temperature, time of day, etc. The Home Depot is always a great place to take the dog. We also like that they always remember her name, Sophie.

One of the best Home Depots around. Most of the workers are helpful and competent. Aisles are generally clean and organized, decently stocked. Store layout is better than most other HD stores. Its worth the drive to come here rather than any others in the state.

This is my 2nd bad experience at a Home Depot store this month, no disrespect to senior citizens or disabled people but the lady at the exit door wasnt disabled at all when I was coming out of the store because she could not see my receipt so I had to take the receipt out of me shopping bag before she let go of my hand, SERIOUSLY? I ask her if she was doing that to everyone and said yes but it was a lie as I was standing outside I seen several people come out of the store with no receipt showing and did nothing, I ask for the manager and got fooled Mark wasnt the manager, what can I say? Racists people still out here trying to control the world, very sad but hope they both get fire, I work my tail off on a daily basis and have to put up with people like this.

I am absolutely baffled at the customer support I received today. An employee literally talked back and swore to me in my face!As my fiance and I bring in our dolly full of mulch into the garden center to cash out, the cart attendant has carts blocking the entrance. I push the carts about 5 feet in front of me and he says (as hes standing by) Sir. The carts are actually supposed to be there I say Well, I was moving them so we can cash out. You cant block the entrance. He says nothing, walks away for a second and then returns. Immediately as we cash out and walk pass him standing by the garden exit he says Yup. The carts are supposed to be there. This man thought he could talk back to myself, and my fiance and get away with it. I wasnt going to let that happen. I immediately walk back and say Excuse me, did you just talk back to me? Im the customer. Now Im going to go grab your manager and see what you have to say to him. He follows up with Go right aheadI grabbed the manager and told him what happened. He said hed talk to the employee and take appropriate action. I was fine with that and walked back out to the parking lot (passing the cart attendant yet again but this time he said nothing). As I go and load the mulch into the car, the has the NERVE to yell something across the parking lot to us. I was like YEAH, I SEE YOU OVER THERE or something of the sort. He seriously wanted to fight me for pushing the cart line in order to get into the store. I immediately walked back into the store and waited for the manager to come back to the service desk. As im waiting, the cart attendant comes into the store and gets all up in my face. The service desk employee needed to tell him to relax and take a break. I immediately walk towards the manager and tell him that the man continued to yell at us in the parking lot. He said Im going to fire him and took the cart attendant to his office.I am hoping that this guy no longer is employed by Home Depot after today. Talking back to customers isnt acceptable. Especially when they did nothing wrong. The fact that this man decided to not only talk back to us once, but 3 times in an aggressive manner means we wont be returning to this home depot at all.

Clean well lit store. Aisles are mostly clear of displays making it easier to get around. Not always a good number of actual cashiers working registers. Self check out isnt great.

Selection is excellent, as long as you know what you want. Staff sometimes didnt know location of Black Friday sale items advertised, as they werent all located in aisle with same brand named products. Found a lot of stuff on my own, and other contractors who shop there frequently, were able to provide more insight into brand size purchases than Home Depot staff. Customer service floor staff either didnt study floor plan of where stuff would be positioned enough, or werent adequately inserviced on this important service aspect. Quality of tools and products at Home Depot cost a little more, but are better quality than at Lowes, in my opinion.

The Smithfield Home Depot location used to be great but it has really gone down hill over the past year. We’ve had numerous unpleasant encounters here involving poor customer service, bad attitudes, and rude staff members. We’re constantly made to feel as though we’re inconveniencing the staff (assuming we can find them) when we ask for any sort of assistance. Many seem genuinely resentful when asked to do their jobs, such as when we arrive to pick up online orders and are met with great disdain.In-store pickup is a train wreck at this location. Orders are clearly not actually “ready” when messages are sent indicating online purchases are able to be picked up. The staff seem to go pick the orders (eventually) when you arrive for pickup. Inevitably, the person that’s supposed to be the one doing this is “on break” or “busy” or simply unable to be found, which leads to painfully long wait times. I’ve placed many online orders with this location and have never once left the store satisfied with the experience.As improbable as it may seem, curbside pickup at this location is actually even worse than in-store pickup. I fully realize that the Home Depot organization at large had to scramble to introduce curbside pickup in the wake of an unexpected global pandemic, but that’s hardly an excuse for this one store to be so unbelievably awful at it. The entire experience is a disaster, starting with the initial phone call placed on arrival to request pickup. The fact that a phone call is required to initiate this process in the year 2020 is ridiculous, but I know this isn’t the Smithfield store’s fault. What IS their fault is the unacceptably long hold time, as well as the rude and dismissive attitudes from staff. When the items eventually do arrive at the “curbside” the handoff is cold and not at all accommodating.Even though we live close to this store, we recently decided to stop giving the Smithfield Home Depot our business. The Johnston location is only a few minutes further away, and the great service they provide more than makes up for it. The Smithfield staff should consider visiting the Johnston location. Perhaps they’d learn a thing or two.

Home Depot.Now here do I begin?Well first off, what ever you need..they got it.I needed a flashlight. Not just the common run of the mill. This had to be proffessional grade. My biggest complaint(to myself)was deciding .They had a great selection of reasonably priced high powered Flashlights.While there I noticed their customers.People shopping there for different reasons. From professional contractors to the average weekend handy person.The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.And Ive got my flashlight.

Every time I go to a home Depot. There is no one working, the registers. I went in to the Smithfield location. It was a Saturday they had 1 register open. The lines were crazy and unruly. I went to the Johnston location also one day. I tried to buy a air conditioner. There was no one in the store, to get it from the upper storage. So I went to Job lot and got it. Its sad that Home Depot just doesnt care about customer service...
