3 of the 4 new tires I bought blew out within a month. Something about that is not right - very unhappy with the service provided here and would not recommend taking Tesla here.

I had my vehicle there for two weeks. I was told my engine seized.Turns out When I had it towed home, my husband charged it and it started. It’s obviously not seized but my money was not returned.I was told to drive it for 100 miles and he’ll give me my money back.Really? Seized engines only drive 50 miles????I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Now I’m disgusted.

Lots of comfy couches and chairs to sit on. They have a Keurig with free coffee. The front desk staff is really nice. They know who you are when you walk through the door. I think their prices are fair when compared to other places. They take good care of my car. Came to get my oil changed today and they had me in and out in 20 minutes.

The best mechanic around

Service was fine. Only issue for me was the price. $32 to plug a tire was a bit on the expensive side. Charged for about 30 minutes of labor when the job itself only took 15-20 minutes.

My steering wheel was a little off center to the right. The technician checked and told me the front toe was off and the back wheels were perfectly center. I asked for a print out after he finished. He told me the printer was not working. After he finished my steering wheel, it was off center to the left. I came back the second time and asked him to realign the steering wheel to the center and asked him to show me the print out before he fixed it. I noticed the rear wheel toe on both sides and right camber were off. He said he is not going to fix it because it is off but still within the spec. Very disappointed.

Been taking my pre-millenial Camry to Bob & Tommy for something like 20 years and always get treated square. This past summer the car passed inspection with no repairs needed. (Not bad for a car that nearly qualifies for Historic plates.) Bought a battery last year that died under warranty. Bob replaced it, no charge, no problem. I definitely recommend Smithtown General Tire to anyone looking for an honest shop.

I unfortunately got a flat tire near the shop he sent someone out to help me unfortunately he had to send a flatbed and then I got Continental great tires for a very fair price.
