My husband and I stopped for lunch at this lovely cafe. The vibe is relaxed and surprisingly quiet. Since the pandemic I havent spent a lot of time in the company of strangers. This beanery is a great starting point. Like many coffee shops or cafes these days some tables had the requisite fixtures; freelancers, students and writers drinking both atmosphere and seasonal beverages deeply.I had the cuban and my husband the turkey we both found them fresh and well balanced. Among the variety of drinks coffee, tea and smoothies. Also in stock a wide variety of international coffee (beans or ground) to enjoy at home.Face masks? Not required but abundant. I highly recommend stopping by, especially if you need the world to slow down for a bit.
Love Rev! Not only do I live walking distance to this awesome place, there food and coffee is perfect! The vibe in the Cafe is super chic too and the employees are always upbeat and fun! I will always support mom & pops over anything! Thanks Rev!
Went there for the first time a few days ago and was very impressed with the staff and was amazed at how busy they were at that time of day, late morning. Very friendly staff made you feel welcome, since I am moving down the street from them, I will be there a lot.
Great coffee!! Uses top of the line brewer. Stays busy. Awesome homemade cinnamon rolls
It was a little crowded on the day we went. Got a cappuccino and it wasnt great but the coffee shop had a nice environment. Would be a great place to study or work if it was less crowded.
Amazing place to get work done or meet a friend because there’s a ton of seating (indoor and outdoor) - and it’s actually open late!! One person bathroom that’s always very clean. Huge bonus - their coffee/tea is always delicious! The owner definitely has a passion for coffee and hires kind, talented employees. Truly my new favorite spot!!
First time going here this morning. It is always packed. Got the Creme Brulee iced latte, it was too strong for me. I had to add water when I got home and my own creamer.
So I have been looking for a new coffee shop to replace my daily (sometimes more than daily) coffee run to Starbucks. I think I have found it here. The coffee is incredible, yet the Summer Breeze Latte (vanilla and lavender). The food is sooooo good, try the cinnamon roll croissant thingy. The staff was awesome and helpful. The menu is great and they offer lots of tea as well. The space is very comfortable and pretty big. And they open early! I will definately be coming back, thus place just made my day today, thank you!
I love Rev so much! It has such a rustic, fun atmosphere! The service is amazing, and the food is just SO great! Love this place!
One of my favorite places to work from home. Outlets are kind of limited though. Pro tip: charge your laptop before you go and if there are no tables by an outlet, you can usually find a seat. Its a busy enough place that people rotate out enough that a table near an outlet will open up before your laptop dies.
Not only great coffee but delicious sandwiches too. I also like the welcoming vibe you get from the staff. The greatest compliment I can give to the coffee is it deserves to be served in a proper mug/cup.
Nice environment, good food and coffee, and friendly staff. I like supporting local businesses instead of Starbucks.But. Parking is horrible, you have to park in a back lot behind an industrial building. I never heard them call my name over the noise and they just left my latte to sit and get cold. The worst is they have 1 single person at a time bathroom that always had a line of people waiting, sometimes 2 or 3 people waiting.
Only thing wrong with this place is the ridiculous line that forms sometimes....other than that 1000% worth it. Ham/cheese croissant is absolutely addicting....as well as the chocolate croissant. Theyre doing breakfast right.
Former local but we were in town so we went by Rev to relive the good old days. My chai tea latte was delicious and better than Starbucks. Staff always friendly. Highly recommend for your coffee needs
One of my favorite spots. The employees are friendly and helpful. Everything is prepared quickly as specified. I have tried most of their offerings and for some reason their Americano tastes better than most other places. I usually try whatever new concotion they have on the board now and have not been disappointed yet.
Fantastic, consistent, great seating, and most importantly delicious coffee and tea! Also only coffe shop in town open till 10!
The pastries look amazing, and Ill be back to try them, but the coffee was everything I expected it to be! I did some research for the better part of a week trying to decide where to get coffee when I visited Atlanta, and Rev looked to be the most intriguing. I got a new Costa Rica, and it is so, so great. Tons of complex flavors rolling around in there. It was just a little darker than most Third Wave coffees that I get, but Im not at all upset by that. The slightly darker overtones didnt overpower the drink. Ill be doing all I can to get back before I leave town!
Killer lavender latte. Cookies the size if your head.
Stopped in the morning after a Braves game and had a great experience. Great coffee and pastries/breakfast sandwiches. Extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
I absolutely adore Rev and stop by often when in Smyrna. Ive tried several of their drinks and baked goods and they are all delicious, but my favorites are their iced dirty chai latte and the cranberry walnut muffin warmed up. This is a cute, funky place and definitely worth checking out if youre in the area!
Super nice atmosphere cool temperature inside nice on a hot day. Lots of cool merch to buy and the food and coffee is excellent.
Good local roaster with plenty of space to hang out. Good options of alt milks including oat ($1.25 is a little too much for 2 oz of oatmilk, though). Wish they had vegan options for their breakfast foods, but otherwise a good place for a cup of coffee.
Coffee is good, but the rest of the place is customer-unfriendly. Its dark & depressing inside. if you sit outsideI, be advised that you may start feeling nauseous because the car shop next door exhausts onto the outdoor seating. If you need to use the restroom, you will be in a long line because there is only 1 & its too crowded for just 1.The staff seems nice, but can get curt if you ask a question.Overall, there are better places to go in the area.
Rev is one of my favorite places on Earth. It has been my study spot for the past 6 years and I am realizing how much I miss it after recently moving to Athens. The friendliest staff, the best atmosphere, and the best coffee you will find anywhere... by far.
My favorite coffee shop, great flavors. My issue is, I came in on 8/31 around 730-8p for a frapp. I asked for an extra shot and before she even tried to make it happen, she said it will be watery. I said can you add extra ice, she said that wouldnt matter. I order this regularly and know that it can be done. I understand that she probably had a long day, but I needed her to do her job and try to make it the way I asked. I worked in coffee for 10 years. Different shops back home in Cali and I never declined a customer their request because it might be too watery. I am going to make sure I know how to make the drink requested to standard, while making sure the changes are ok for customer. She could have just said we may have to do less milk. I would have been totally fine with that, but she didnt try.I really needed that shot after being at the hospital for 2 days with a friend and then needing to study. That extra shot would have made all the difference. I will still come here, because I love them. It may be a while before I go back. I have a genuine love of great customer service, and I understand that baristas are people and have things going on just as we do, but when I would go into work that went out the window and my focus was on changing my customers day for the duration of my shift, I did not matter. I finally just told her just give it to me the regular way and waited. I should have just left, but I really needed the caffeine. Please do better, because you dont know what someone is going through and if I had a lack of self control I would have seriously lost it. We come in there to decompress and experience the wonderful baristas that work there.
Delicious coffee and pastries. Worth a visit if youre in the area.
Coffee is awesome 💯 but I wish the food tasted better! I’ve tried the vegetarian breakfast burrito, the veggie quiche, and a chicken biscuit and found them all uneventful. The chicken salad and adult lunchables are the best food items I’ve had so far
It was okay....average coffee spot. Cool small spot.
Good quality coffee beans at a reasonable price.
Awesome place to grab a cup of coffee, food and focus on work! If it werent for Covid, I would work here couple of times a week!
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite coffee shops. Ever since I moved out of MIdtown, Ive had a hard time finding nice places to work from. I love how spacious this shop is: it has in and outdoor seating.Admittedly, it can get a bit loud as its just a large room with plenty of reflective (auditory) surface, but most people tend to listen to music anyway. The food is great! Pictured is the veggie quiche and Im already wishing I bought another slice. Plain coffee beverages are competitively priced. Food, however, seems a bit expensive.Ill definitely be coming here more often!
Such a cute place, love the vibe. Lots of dairy free options.
Really great. Loved it. Ill be back!
The atmosphere was amazing at Rev Coffee and the staff very knowledgeable on their drinks!!I highly recommend this location!!
My favorite coffee shop in the Atlanta area hands down. Their drinks are always good and the food is great too! I especially love the veggie quiche. And any latte or cappuccino you choose will be delicious. I love this place!!
Best Latte Ive had in a long time. Customer service was fantastic.
Cons: Coffee has an aftertaste as if it’s old. You know how coffee tastes after it’s been sitting for hours? That’s how theirs taste and I’ve had about 4 cups over a period of 3 months. Their customer service is hit or miss; more misses. I’ve had a couple interactions with the Owner which wasn’t pleasant and almost ruined my day as I was already having a rough time that day personally and the transaction almost led me to tears.Pros: Location. The atmosphere is chill and a good place to study or meet.**However if there was another coffee shop similar I would definitely go to it instead.Note: Even with a not so good product if customer service is excellent you’ll most likely still win & why? Because people always remember how you treat them. Not valuing each customer will always dry up any business eventually.
The riches coffee I ever tasted it tastes better than Starbucks
I always try to support the local businesses and Rev does not disappoint. The homemade chicken salad is worth the trip.
I got to ✍ and the atmosphere is ALWAYS that purposeful ENERGY as everyone is there for school work, a meeting or working on something
Anytime I’m near Rev it’s a must stop for breast items and the best coffee around. Awesome staff that pumps out delicious drinks in a speedy manor! Will be back this week!
Their cold brew is addictive. The baristas are knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect beans for a pour over.
I love Rev Coffee. Their customer service, user friendly online portal to order ahead, and options for coffee are great. Their roast is soooo good! Love this local coffee shop in Smyrna!
Great place to grab a coffee or to sit and work. Love the atmosphere.
Best coffee in Smyrna Atlanta for that fact power cookies are the bomb try one if you havent had it
Fresh, delicious coffee. Their ham and cheese croissant are a delicious treat, but they sell out of these babies early!
Great staff and great atmosphere!
Some of the best coffee Ive had! I always leave with a delicious drink and sometimes a fresh pastry.
This place is great! The hot apple cider is highly recommended. Im usually a black coffee gal, but the hot apple cider is the move at this place (and when its in season). The vibe is cool, too! Theyve got plenty of indoor/outdoor seating.
I used to live near Rev and went there often while I was in college to study. Great coffee, cool atmosphere. Whenever I’m over that way, I make sure I grab a cup of coffee and some bags of whole beans to brew at home.
Well one of the best coffee I had. Will definitely come back here again.
Great coffee and yogurt snacks the atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasing. If you are sitting outside, the traffic noise can be a bit loud though.
RAD vibes... great coffee.
Absolutely amazing staff, and possibly the best iced coffee in town. The staff is always very helpful and courteous, I have gone there years now and cannot believe I have not given them a review yet. I am sad they always sell out of shirts in my size though!!
Quality customer service and they have plenty of parking behind the restaurant
I ordered a bag of whole beans for pickup, and drove 30 minutes to the shop. I was really looking forward to trying out a new roast (Sumatra). I should have checked the roast date on the bag but assumed a roaster like Rev would only have the freshest bags for sale. I got home and saw the roast date was almost 3 weeks ago, and the coffee was flat (using a v60). Certainly not the end of the world but will make me think twice about ordering from them again.
Nice place. Parking is a challenge.
4 🌟 and not 5 because part of the ceiling was leaking and dropped water down on my computer
I love coming here! The coffee is good, and they have a patio so you can stay socially distanced. Staff is super friendly and the food is good when youre there studying/working for hours.
One of the best Dirty Chai lattes Ive ever had!! The Greg Almond is great too. The barista even walked me thru caring for my sore arm post Covid vaccine. Happy to support this small business.
Great coffee, great Wi-fi, open atmosphere. Clean with great seating. Love their entrees which are delicious! Rev Coffee serves a unique blend with bold flavor, Please give them a try!
Best coffee place in the area but thats not saying much. Some of their food items are OK but rediculously overpriced. They have 2 types of coffee every day but they are always switching them around so some days you go in there and its 2 rather blasè selections. But I havent found better coffee in the area.
Great place to study. Very spacious, with that awesome coffee shop vibe. The employees here are easy to engage with! They have interesting beverages, way more than the standard coffee shop. I had the coconut mocha and it was delicious! Ny far a great experience, I plan on making this my study spot from now on. (Their black coffee is great, I had their dark roast and it was very rich with great nutty overtones, highly recommend!) If I could rate it 6 stars I would!
The diversity of customers in this shop made me proud to be an American! One observation of a busy morning in this shop. One table had a catholic priest holding bible study.the next table over had LGBTQ members proudly on display. The next table had an in person job interviewthe outside had a laughing group of older women just having a blastevery other table had a diverse group of college students studyingThe parking lot had several Harley motorcyclist meeting up before there rideGiant Georgia pickup trucks playing country music with girls sitting on the tailgate. To see everyone laughing enjoying their morning coffee, holding the doors for each other .... just makes me proud to be an American! At this point it doesn’t really matter that they happen to also have great food and coffee.
Great mocha latte and tasty turkey sandwich. I ordered to go but the place looked comfy and nice. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Best coffee in metro Atlanta, service is great, I work at Starbucks and go there on my days off.
Favorite local coffee shop! The folks are nice and the coffee is always 👌
Came in here to wait out my oil change next door. It is packed a no one is wearing a mask except the staff. If I had anywhere else to go right now I would leave but it’s 20 degrees so I don’t really have any other choice. The food at this place has always been subpar - I haven’t been back since I discovered Cafe Lucia down the street. I will never be back after this experience. They haven’t socially distanced the tables at all and I feel like the number of ppl in here might be violating government orders.
Great place to study, great coffee, great service and friendly staff
Great local coffee shop that cares about its customers and the code they serve.
After passing this establishment over the years, my husband and I decided to try the coffee ☕. To our surprise, its absolutely 💯 👌! We will definitely come back.
