I love Cami Cakes soooo much! I remember when there were a ton of cupcake shops popping up around the city & Cami was still the best. It’s only right they’re one of the few still around. The ice cream at the creamery location is house made & the best flavors (IMO) are Cookie Monster, red velvet & banana pudding.

My daughter loved the oreo cake. This girl is not a sweets eater and it was half gone in less than 5 minutes. She even stated that if she was to have a birthday party she wanted this to be her cake. SMDH. I purchased the plain cake for myself and the sweet potato caramel cake for her husband. Everything looked good. Will definitely return to try more stuff.

I received a delivery cupcakes for my birthday. The driver clearly dropped the box or had it flip upside down because literally every last one of these cupcakes fell over and all of the frosting mixed together. The taste was really nice, but based on how my cupcakes were delivered for my birthday I would absolutely never deliver these to someone else.

I bought 6 cupcakes from the Cumberland Mall location a week ago. I was super excited to bring them out for an event that night with my friends and family. I did right, by making sure that I was careful with the box the entire time.To my utter dismay, I find that the cakes all fell over in the box, due to either too much space or not secured.Even more upset that after trying one of the Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes, I find it just tastes like a corn muffin, with fancy icing.I dont think Ill be going back, because Im pretty sure I can make better Strawberry muffins at home.

The ladies working there are cool and kind. The red velvet cake is so good! I normally do not order or like red velvet, but it was delicious. It had a crunchy layer and the buttercream was melt-in-your-mouth smooth. My ONLY feedback would be to have a tip option when using a card.

The manager at the Smyrna location is Just. Plain. Rude! (Description, short, brown skinned female who had a ponytail [that day]). So they have this promo where you can get a free birthday cupcake. I had a trip planned, but delta airlines kept changing flight schedules and changed mine to a late arrival back in Atlanta. I called and explained this to a member of the staff (I won’t call her name because my issue is not with her). That employee told me that I could come in, show my ID, and explain what happened and that would suffice to claim my once-a-year treat. So I did that, but the manager vehemently declined, even when I provided the employee’s name who had given me the ok. Had she not been so rude and abrasive, I would’ve just bought the cupcake instead. But it’s all in the approach. Good customer service goes a long way. Poor customer service costs as well. Sure, it was only one cupcake, but that attitude multiplied can definitely bring adverse success in sales.

I go to this location pretty often. At least 3 times a week. I’ve always been satisfied for the most part. Lately the inventory has been pretty low but I always overlook that issue because customer service is always on point. But today, the young lady with the blonde hair had a very nasty attitude. Very rude! When asked if they had a specific cake she just looked at me. When asked when they would get red velvet she literally just hunched her shoulders. I requested a receipt. She told me to grab it from the machine myself. Her attitude was disgustingly nasty. The customer service experience is not worth the cake.Needless to say I won’t be going back!

We love CamiCakes! We live about an hour and a half from this location and were in the area so we had to make stop. I hate that there arent any closer CamiCake locations to us up north but we are glad to at least still be able to get the delicious cupcakes somewhere. We typically get the half dozen when we come in. The flavors we chose on our visit were Key Lime, CinnaSwirl, Banana Cream, Sweet Potato, & Blueberry Cheesecake. I recommend anyone that hasnt tried CamiCakes and is thinking about; Just do it! You will fall madly in love with these amazing cupcakes.Our experience and the shop was great, the shop is tiny and there was a bit of a line when we arrived but the staff were very quick and thorough with orders so the line moved very quickly. During our order the young lady who helped us was very attentive and quickly got out order together. This shop has ice-cream as well and there were a few decent flavors but we decided to skip on the ice cream and go with cupcakes. Overall we had a great experience, the shop was clean and well organized.

Mmmmmm.......what can I say about CamiCakes other than their cupcakes and cakes are AMAZING!! To me, theyre very rich and delectable. The red velvet cakes are one of my favorites. I can tell their products are made from quality ingredients. I was given a birthday cake from there last year and OMG, it was so good I bought my mom a cake for her birthday. CamiCakes is yummy ☺☺

Great dessert shop! I LOVE that they don’t serve big oversized cupcakes. I prefer a serving size just for one, and not so big I feel compelled to share or only eat half and save the rest for another day. They are the perfect size and beautifully decorated. Oh, and they sell ice cream!

This place understands that the cake is as important as the icing. Incredible cakes is what they should call it.

Just left Lenox location in the mall. One of the workers was very pleasant. The other one with rainbow braids was down right NASTY. Horrible attitude simply because I asked for a separate container for one of the cupcakes-due to an allergy. I just didn’t want them in the same container. I asked extremely politely. We’ve eaten CC for years. I’ve never experienced such horrible service. #Disappointed

We found this place by accident. Im so happy we did. This is the best cake I have ever eaten. The red velvet cake is amazing. It had a buttery and crunchy taste. I will be back to try the other flavors.

My grand daughters and my first visit today. WONDERFUL!!! Cupcakes were delicious. Nice clean establishment. Employees were nice and respectful. Used good practice wearing masks and gloves. WE LOVED IT AND WILL BE RETURNING!!!! GREAT PLACE!!!

Some of the worst cupcakes I’ve ever had. The red velvet was terrible. The cake was extremely dry and the frosting was too sour. Definitely do not recommend.

The cakes are delicious. I ordered the plain with strawberry icing. It has the perfect texture and just the right sweetness. I have been to this location more than once. I gave it four stars because of the customer service. The ladies don’t give off the impression that they are happy to serve and our grateful that you chose this bakery over another. So the service is mediocre but the cakes are delicious. If the service was worst than average I wouldn’t go back.

This Cami Cakes location is the best one in the metro area. They have superior customer service, easy access to get to, and the cupcakes are always full of flavor, fresh, and tasty. The Birthday Cake Cupcake is our favorite! We travel all the way from the camp creek area everytime just to go to this one...

This was my first time at this location and the ladies who were serving me were nice, and had good customer service. The cupcakes however dont taste the same: the red velvet specifically has a new frosting that tastes almost acidic and the cupcakes themselves didnt have as much of the red velvet flavor. Still good cupcakes, but definitely not as good as the ones in the Jacksonville location were. Which confused me as I thought they all used the same recipes. Also these cupcakes were a little smaller than the ones in Jacksonville.

So many wonderful cupcakes to choose. My family really enjoys this place. The carrot cupcake is delicious with its slightly crunchy top on a moist cupcake. The cream cheese icing is a perfect match for the cake. The key lime cupcake is amazing, with just the right touch of lime zing to make it pop!Also love their house made ice cream!

I recently just left the cami cakes store in Lenox, First off im a Regular customers I have even spoke to the owner before about how i always buy 6-12 cupcakes every 2 weeks. The lady with the long black & blonde dreads/loc gave me nothing but attitude and asked if i want to get my order my self because i asked why the icing was a little mushed in( i was trying to promote on my black business page) i had already waited to get recognized buy another lady with black & brown braids she was talking on the phone looked at me and kept talking, the other lady with the dreads came in with a F21 bag & brown bag as if she was shopping while working, im so disappointed because i never came in the shop and with am attitude i even leave bigs tip for the gratefulness of the young ladies working the old girls needs to come back ! This was very disappointing, i do want to speak with the managers of this store . #alisha

I honestly love the red velvet cake so I order the a $62 cake for my mans & uncle birthday I told them to write happy birthday on it with two different names spelled it out to them slowly and when I went and picked up my cake the names were spelled differently, and I told them and the only thing they can say was we dont have a decorator to change the name, I didnt get any apologies no sincerity nothing, I should ask for a refund but I didnt have the time. Just leaving a review because next time if they cant hear properly the best thing they can do is confirm all the information back with the client

You may be slightly put off when you first walk in because unfortunately like so many other businesses fronted/franchise-run by black people they dont really pay much attention to the appearance of the establishment or the presentation of what they sell.. This condition isnt exclusive to my people but its definitely the case more often than not. Dont let it discourage you or make you think that the appearance trickles down to the food quality because there are mostly Hispanics in the back doing the baking and the cupcakes and cake slices are always fresh and moist and the cake part actually tastes like cake not like at Publix where you can literally taste the artificial flavors and colors and preservatives that they use. Ugh, gross.Their website also appears to not be maintained very well. Clicking on menu items doesnt produce any results and is unresponsive such that you literally cannot explore what they have to offer or even place an order online....at least not @ 9pm on a Wednesday night when I visited it.On the expensive side FOR SURE but the flavor pretty much justifies the prices....but not really lol.

Very good ice cream that’s dense, creamy and flavorful. The shop, however, is dirty and not maintained. White is a poor choice if you let it get this dirty. Google won’t post my more gross pics. The bathroom is horrendous.

I went yesterday to get some cupcakes .... you know how you go to cupcakes shop and you feel cheerful and happy.... well as soon as I got in I was asked what do I want? The questions were asked like I was in interrogation room + nasty attitude..... I paid $40 for dozen cupcakes and could not eat after service I received.... if that would of been personally for me I would of walked away.... in this times when you want to support small business you get treated like this? I never ever will be going to this shop

My favorite place to visit when Im in town.

I dont care who WINS Best of Smyrna in the bakery department, cause CamiCakes is THE best. From uniquely flavored cupcakes (keylimes my fave), to tastable ice cream, to the most delectable cake slices. The sweet shop is ALWAYS immaculately clean, too! They have a sitting bench directly outside, a bicycling ice cream cart, someone drew hopscotch on the ground just outside. The West Village is beautiful though.

It’s the only cami cakes still open in our area. And we tried the strawberry cheese cupcakes and classic cupcakes today. We absolutely love it. Great sweets for a Friday. The texture of the cake is so moist and spongy. The cream on the top feels rich in flavor. Will come back.

I’ve been going to this location in Smyrna since they opened. I’ve always enjoyed the cupcakes, cake slices, ice cream, & customer service (most of the time). However, when just recently visiting this location I noticed a change in staff. There is a younger girl working there now with blondish/copper hair extensions who rang me out. She had an unpleasant, snappy, rude attitude. Didn’t like it at all. Drastic change from the young, Hispanic gentleman who use to work the checkout counter. He was always so kind and well-mannered.

Horrible first of all this is my 4th time going and everytime the customer service was horrible if I should say the cakes and cupcakes they were delicious., your staff is as good as you are cant keep coming back for cakes if nothing else is right. Let me tell you my niece was graduating from college on this one occasion and they gave me false information I had no cake. The manager gave me another cake but not what I ordered. I am so upset about this ps I hope you get your staff in line

Came all the way to Smyrna GA for these great cupcakes and cakes.

I gave two stars only because of the excellent customer service I received. However, it is so sad that the cakes do not have the same quality ingredients as before. This used to be my favorite bakery but the owner appears to not care about her customer base anymore, so I will find another bakery that will be consistent with their ingredients and quality.

I stop every time Im in the area. The cake is moist, great tasting and they offer nice variety of flavors when available. They even have icecream and cake specials during week. I usually go for a cake slice, but most often they are sold out. I settle for a cupcake. I also noticed that they are not as fresh as they use to be.Update March 2020: They have the nerve to charge $6.95 for a cake slice that use to be $5. The container is huge but not the slice. I usually get butter cookie. They did not even have decency to add the cookie for $7 slice of cake.

I must say that the quality of the desert was Fabulous, moist, flavorful 😘😍 I needed a cupcake or cake for my birthday and this was a suggestion from the locals within the area. This would have been 5 stars BUT...HOWEVER, the customer service was horrible! For the location that it is in it should be EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE....when nope and here is why...1st) There was a sign that mentioned only 5 ppl at a time(nowhere on the sign did it say this would include employees) Keep in mind if this is correct, then why it was already several people(up 7 people) in the building already?! If this is so that means 3ppl at a time right?!2) When asked about the flavor of the red velvet cake.. the employee didnt know and advised me what do you mean it is a red velvet cake.. immediately a turn off! I believe as most bakers as one as myself should know what flavor desserts are.3) When paying for the items the same employee advised Due to the shortage of the coins we are going to keep the $0.92 what huh?! No, theres no sign advising please have exact change or debit/credit only.Again, you are practicing the guidelines for Covid, right even though it wasnt proactively guided well nor was it followed properly.I would visit this company again however not this location.

It’s okay ! I had a red velvet slice with nuts. I do feel they’ve could’ve been more generous with the frosting. The cake was okay, didn’t care for the frosting as much. The carrot cake i did not like at all. I spit it out after one bite and trashed it. I will come back to try other cake flavors and ice cream. But for now i prefer Smallcakes.

I would like to see management spend time and money maintaining the shop. The few times I’ve gone (today being one of them) I can’t help but notice the chipping paint all over the walls, scuffed floors, and unkept furniture (the dirty chairs are stacked by where customers line up due to COVID so it’s hard to miss). I would probably come more often if it was a cleaner and inviting environment (the cupcakes and okay service can’t do it all on their own).

They were easy to work with, reasonably priced, and the cake was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for all of your bakery needs!

I feel like the formula has changed for the cupcakes. the icing use to be a bit thicker and sweeter vs. light and airy while the cupcakes have gotten a little too dense. just not as tasty as they used to be.

Firstly, I walked into the store and no one greeted me, so I just stood there for a few minutes. If I hadn’t already prepaid for my cake I would have left. I’m here on time and ready to pickup but my cake isn’t ready…so I’m sitting here in my car waiting. Customer service isn’t great, seems like they don’t want to be there and couldn’t really be bothered.

I ordered 4 minis and 2 regular cupcakes. I was disappointed by them. They did not taste the same. Red velvet was ok. Carrot cake tasted the best to me personally however the icing had too much cinnamon it was grainy not smooth. Strawberry was just ok. I was disappointed. And I gave her perfect change.

Ordered 2 cakes on 8/8 for a Bridal shower on 8/15. Called 8/14 to confirm my order and I was told that all was well for pick up on 8/15 at 12:20. I get to the location and apparently my payment didn’t go through which for some reason I don’t understand. I was never contacted by any one at all about this issue, the girls at the counter were very snooty and rude about the issue and then had the nerve to ask if I still wanted to cakes OBVIOUSLY I HAVE AN EVENT I STILL WANT THE CAKES. Here I am at 12:52 still waiting. I would never come back here at all ever.

CamiCakes has by far the best tasting red velvet cake in the city. However, my main issue is what many others have mentioned, which is most times, the cupcakes are NOT FRESH. I have bought dozens and dozens of their cupcakes and about 90% of the time, they do not taste fresh. I love the flavor, but the freshness is very lacking. I wish they could mimic the consistent freshness that Small Cakes bakery ALWAYS seem to have. Such a bummer considering how potentially great these cupcakes can be.

I’m very upset about their service. I ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday and I had request to add writing on the cake. Upon arrival there was nothing written on the cake. The cake writer was not around so the baker had to write on the cake. It’s unfortunate to say that they did a terrible job with the writing. When ordering from them please remind them a couple of times to write what you want on your cake

We have always enjoyed the CamiCakes cupcakes. On Monday Memorial Day I went to pick up 2 dozen cupcakes for a friends birthday and noticed something that has really bothered me so I decided to write it as a review for the owners attention to the matter. The young lady working there was not wearing a mask and as she was placing my cupcakes in the box, the phone rang so she picked up the phone and then continued with the same gloves to handle the cupcakes. I asked why is she not wearing a mask and she just smiled. I felt very uncomfortable with the handling of food from the attendant and told the recipient of the cupcakes for them to decide if they want to eat it or not. Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

I actually stopped going to this cupcake place as I couldn’t over come the smell when I walked in. You would think it would smell awesome being a bakery but it always smelled awful. I also didn’t find their cupcakes to taste fresh. I tried both the regular size and the mini size and neither ever tasted fresh. But it’s a cute little place and maybe their ice cream is a hit.

Order the Strawberrys & Cream 2 layer Cake and it was so freaking Fresh, Moist and DeLic..O..US. Omg it was a hit at the birthday party. The hint of Strawberry was not over powering, just right.

I have been an avid supporter of Cami Cakes, however, I dont think I will be returning after 7 years. The cupcakes are very dry and one of my favorites, The Elvis, was doused in salt on the top. I am very disappointed in the dried cupcakes offered at this location. I always like to point out the positives--the lady who took my order Friday was very pleasant. This unfortunately is my only take-away.

I bought a variety of the minis and none of the cake bread tasted fresh. I came in on a Sunday early afternoon. I gave 2 stars because the white macadamia frosting was really good.

I considere the place nice, employees at this time had a bad attitude towards us....the girl didnt serve the cone properly..no napkins and she handed it to me like that...I asked for a napkin the othervlady raised her voice and told her ...give her one from the roll....towel paper......no spoon, no napkins, bad attitude, bad service.........this is my first visit here....wont come again.

The cupcakes were great per usual and the customer service was awesome as well. My only complaint is that there was only one lady there to service everyone which slowed down the process. However, I will definitely visit again.

Restaurant was dirty, case where cupcakes were sitting was dirty. Paperwork covering the countertops. Staff was friendly and pleasant to be around though just looks like they need to spend some time with a deep clean and replace white furniture as it looks dirty.

When you go to Cami Cakes, you are Happy because you know your getting something yummy. The employees need to understand this. I went to finally try the bundt cake and I also bought a slice of key lime. Other than the customer service, the cakes were yummy. Is a shame!

I had an terrible experience. Zoe and Oliver should not be working there. Oliver making a smirk after I brought cupcakes and the pecans was not on the icing. When I asked if they could fixed the cupcake it took 5 minutes. Don’t go to this location. No quayof Service. Pleas go to GG’s cupcakes. They have better service!

My experience was horrible. There were only three tubs of Ice cream. I asked the cashier what flavors they were and the response I received was “I don’t know and I can’t taste them because I’m lactose intolerant. He attitude was ugly, very ugly. When I tasted the ice cream I could clearly tell that it wasn’t fresh. It tasted as though it was stored in the freezes for months. Just an all around bad experience.

As I read other reviews I notice the two things are consistent, poor customer service and great treats !This is unfortunate ! The treats are absolutely delicious! But the customer service is very lacking. A hello and a smile goes a long way, the employees at this establishment should try it. If I didn’t know any different I’d think that every time I walk in the person waiting on me had just been told she had 24 hours to live ! That’s how depressed/ unfriendly these young ladies seem. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Along with that I give my phone number each time to earn points toward free treats and I guess they just type any number in because I’ve yet to get any. I finally asked today how many until a free cupcake and was told 11!! Well 6 months ago when I signed up I was told the same thing !!! 👀 I go almost every weekend to buy cupcakes and I have never used any rewards . So I’m wondering why ask me for my number if you’re not going to put it into the system. 😤Customer service at it’s worse at this establishment !
