I am impressed with the entire crew at Rommels that I met through my purchase of my 2015 Street Glide. Special Thanks to Brad and Paul. Brad was awesome from day one when I stopped by to ask questions but not wanting to purchase. 3 months later, things changed and I was ready to buy. The location is aesthetically pleasing....Surprised that there were not as many motorcycles there for how big the place is.What stuck out to us the most was that NOT ONE EMPLOYEE said a word to us. Maybe because they could tell we were not local, or maybe because we stopped in with kids. I know people are busy but not even a hello...We have an insurance claim settlement check (from a recent motorcycle accident) and are looking for a motorcycle...customer service makes a difference.

Not sure whats going on with this dealership, mechanics walking out the door left & right. Just took delivery of a 2021 CVO Road Glide a month or so ago & the after purchase service has been absolutely terrible. Save yourself the headache and maybe purchase from another dealer. Seems here all they care about is the sale. Had brake line leaking fluid on the fairing, fairing is mounted crooked, scratches on the front of the bike & now no one seems to want to respond to my emails.

Hands down one of the absolute best dealerships I have experienced. I bought my bike in 2018 and have had all my service and upgrades done by Rommel Harley Davidson in Smyrna. Everyone is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Walking into Rommel is like walking into a close friends home. If you dont believe me then go yourself. Nobody bugs you when you walk in, but they do check on you to see if they can help. They give you an entire tour of the facility and tell you who and where you need to go for whatever it is you need as far as service, sales, parts, etc. Service department is excellent! You can walk to service department and ask anything and not once was I rushed, quite the opposite actually. They were patient and explained everything to me. Gave me a free copy of the parts catalog for my bike and explained all the intricacies of my motorcycle to me. Having never owned a Harley Davidson before, I left there feeling special and one of the team. I was welcomed and to this day 3 years later still feel like part of the Rommel family every time I go there. I like to stop by on rides just to say hello to the sales reps, parts department, and service to just see whats new and look at the new models. They always greet me with a smile and remember me by name! They even called me at home to let me know my rewards points were about to run out reminding me to use them. It really is a close group at Rommel and a lot of other dealerships could learn a lot about customer service and personal attention. It just goes to show why customers return again and again year after year. Rommel has a customer for life in me and I am sure if given the opportunity, you could have the exact same experience as I did and still do to this day. I was very impressed with this Harley Davidson dealership owned by the Rommel group. They own several dealerships on the East Coast and this one is my favorite. Like many Harley Davidson facilities the building is very unique and they also have a riding range for the new rider academy. They have a great selection of motorcycles including quite a few custom cycles. Since I ride a Fat Bob it’s always nice to see that model on display and they even had a Dyna version. The staff in the clothing and merchandise area of the dealership were very friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the fact that everyone on staff was wearing a mask, as were the patrons. I picked up the usual collectors poker chip and also a pair of high-quality knee-high Harley Davidson branded riding socks that were the lowest cost of any dealership I have seen at only $15!

The dealership was super helpful with everything I needed. They helped me pick out a great first bike for myself and were very knowledgeable helping me purchase gear for myself as well. I will be driving an hour any chance I get to come visit and get some more stuff from the shop! Lou was my salesman and he was amazing in every aspect. Knew exactly what he was talking about and was able to bring a lot of experience to the table. If you need anything ever when it comes to Harley-Davidson motorcycles I strongly suggest going to see Lou!

Great place. Drive there from PA each April for the Delaware State Police Special Olympics, Ride to the Tide benefit ride. Rommels graciously hosted this event as a starting point for many years.

They were the most courteous and professional dealership I have worked with in a long time! They were so accommodating, understanding our recent bad experience, they worked to exceed expectations. Honestly, I think this is just their normal way of doing business. Our sales rep, Lou Haagen was excellent and Paul Bowser is unmatched. The layout of the store is fantastic with a great selection as well. I wish we lived closer to this location as it would become a regular stop on a ride.

Went down initially to sit on a few bikes to see what I would be sized out for. Doc initially came up to me and my father asking what I was looking for. Being a first time rider I told him what I wanted out of a bike and he steered me in what I was looking for.A few weeks later I changed gears on the bike I was initially looking at, and gave him a challenge to find me a 2019 Sportster. A week or so later I get a call saying he found one I was looking for! A total no pressure experience! The whole process from start to finish was under 2 hours with the majority of that time being on hold with my insurance! Worked with Josh at OC Bike Week for a couple new HDs. He was super helpful and friendly, and made the process a breeze. We were approved and riding in under 2 hours! Saw a bike I fell in love with on their website and I went up to check it out. I was shower the bike but it wasnt quite right for me in the end but Kean asked what to keep a look out for and he held to it! A month or so later he called with the exact bike I wanted. I brought a bike from them back 2016, great busniess, I called today to get some information on a product to purchase but only person that answers the phone in the building is the representative, called three times and left a message with Service, and parts, it’s been three hours a d still haven’t nt heard from either side..... And if you go into the store everyone is sitting around doing nothing.....the need more help around there because they just lost a sell to Hannums!!!!

We could not have been more impressed with the staff @ Rommel H-D. My husband & I stopped to see if they had any Tri-Glides, and Doc was eager to assist. Docs pleasant demeanor, without the typical pushy salesman attitude made it easier to discuss our needs. My husband had suffered a stroke in May 2016, up until then we had ridden a Silver 2004 Honda VTX1300s (which he loved), but since the stroke my husbands balance had not been the same. He was reluctant to put our safety in jeopardy, but wanted to continue to ride. By luck or possibly fate, there in the showroom sat a Silver Fortune/Sumatra Brown 2018 Tri-Glide Ultra. Doc shared all the information on the bike and offered a test drive. That particular day we were short on time, and was on our way to the beach. Again without pressure, Doc shared his contact information & asked for ours, and said he would check in. We thought about the trike a lot, and Doc checked in and my husband started his research on our end. Bottom line, WE DID IT. When we picked up the trike, Doc was extremely thorough in reviewing ALL the many features & allowed my husband to absorb & ask any questions before we took off. Doc, Paul, Greg & Anne all managed to make us feel very welcome to the Harley family. Their thoroughness in every aspect certainly made our experience a very positive one. We not only have a Tri-Glide, we also have a whole new friendship and look forward to sending our friends to visit them when theyre in the market for a Harley.

Great service, great staff, great place to shop

Parts department is fantastic but the service department is lacking seriously. Had a rear tire replaced by them and tire had a lateral wobble. Service department refused to admit the tire was and replace it. Proceeded to tell me it was front axle, rear lowering block, brake rotor, rear axle, taller windshield, etc. Tire had visible wobble. Told me they were going to replace it until I got there and then proceeded to tell me they werent because there was nothing wrong. Funny, because I put my old rim and tire on and drove around with it and went to Sturgis while inspected my chrome rim with the tire on it. I have spent thousands of dollars at that dealership in the parts department alone. I cant in good conscience give money to a dealership who doesnt stand behind the parts they sell and there workmanship. Definitely recommend another dealership other then Rommels.Will provide updates since the dealership replied to this post.9 days since the dealership posted a response and I have received no contact from them. Purchased new tires from a different source and tire issue is gone, bad tire. Moving on. Spend your hard earned dollars wisely.

Last weekend our Son got an untouchable deal on a Breakout. Went along to haul it back for him on our trailer. Needless to say fell in love with a Street Glide and was quoted again an untouchable deal compared to several dealers in our area so we are making the 140 mile trek back to Rommel Smyrna to pick up the Street Glide this weekend.I have had to work with three different sales representatives due to the distance and elapsed time of our decision making and I could tell that Greg, Paul Tadpole, and Michelle were all on the same team working in unison with each other to make our buying experience unbelievable.They have a sign like some other dealers you may have seen that states home of the best price. Well being the frugal shoppers we are. I beleive you would be hard pressed to prove their sign wrong. Where they in our case have definitely proved the other dealers signs wrong!

Dropped a quick credit application and was approved, received a call from Michael “Doc” Purcell asking what I was looking for. I gave him a price range and he came through within a day or two with a couple of options. I chose one signed the papers and since I live 2 hours away they delivered it after they finished the service and inspection. I was more than pleased with how smooth the transaction was. A great experience all the way around. I wanted a motorcycle that was in their Annapolis dealership. They had it brought in to their Smyrna dealership. They were easy to deal with and I got the motorcycle that I wanted. Lou was easy and excellent to work with.

Excellent place for bike needs

My first visit to the store was very pleasant. The lady who helped me was very friendly and helped me find everything I was looking for. My first Harley I bought from a dealership in Texas where the staff werent as friendly. This particular shops clientele mainly consisted of doctors and lawyers and they werent very friendly to us common folk. Not the case here at Rommel. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!! Update: I took my bike in for service and when I went to leave I noticed my helmet was missing. Staff looked for it everywhere but it just vanished. The man in charge of the service department took me to the showroom and let me pick out a replacement helmet. They were extremely helpful in making sure the helmet fit properly. I have never encountered such great customer service anywhere! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

I was looking to test ride some bikes that would be more comfortable than the one I had. Bryan was very helpful and really worked with me. I didnt find it the first time but he kept in touch and let me know when other bikes came in. My friend Karen, who also works there, let me know they had got a dyna switchback in I might want to try and then Bryan contacted me about it. I test rode it and it was the one for me!! We went in to ask questions about paying a motorcycle off and transferring it to another person. The salesman and saleswoman were extremely rude. Shut us down almost at the door! Will never go back to purchase anything and will definitely spread the word of how unprofessional these people are!I guess we didnt look rich enough.Little did they know!

400 miles from home we stopped at Rommel’s (on an ‘09 Ultra) to stretch our legs and buy a t-shirt for my wife. 4 1/2 hours later we pulled out on a ‘19 Limited.
