My contractor sent me to Mont Surfaces by Mont Granite for a kitchen remodel in Solon OH. When I entered the showroom, I received no acknowledgment, not a hello, can I help you …nothing.However, the lady who came into the showroom about 3 minutes after I arrived received a warm welcome from the ladies at the receptionist desk. They asked her if she had been to the showroom before, in which the woman responded, that it was her first time. The receptionist then informed the lady about their products, asked her to sign a safety disclosure and allowed her to enter the warehouse to view their selection.As I proceed to browse the lobby, finally reaching the receptionist desk is when the woman with shoulder length dark brown hair behind the counter made her first acknowledgement. Then afterwards she asked a furry of questions. She asked who was my contractor? To her dismay, she never heard of him.Next, she proceeded to ask me my street address. She informed me that she never heard of my street before. Then she asked the city and zip code of which I reside. Her response to me was….. “oh, you live over there.”She told me she was going to call my contractor, whose contact information I provided to her with the earlier inquisitions.To be honest, I don’t remember her last question. I just turned around and walked out of the showroom. As I was calling my contractor to share my experience at Mont Surfaces, the receptionist had already called him to say I was frustrated and walk-out the showroom. To her dismay, my contractor is working with an affiliate with Mont Surfaces.Of course, she never told him of her snide remarks and why I left the showroom.I think I should inform others of the poor customer service I received at Mont Surfaces on September 20, 2021. Since my street address and zip code was a concern, I have reach out to several of my colleagues, the members of my women organization, women in the government, legal and medical communities to share my experience. They too, could live in an area that would be of concern for Mont Surfaces and I want them to be properly informed.I am sharing this experience as a reminder to others that we live in a diverse society. You never know who could walk into your showroom, therefore consistent customer service should be provided to all clients.Best regards,Mrs. Robinson

Redoing an entire house is no easy task, but the counter top proved to be the hardest part so far! The staff at Mont did a great job helping us narrow the decision down by telling us EVERYTHING we needed to know about the stone (and the price). A big thanks to Kurren and Tyrone for being patient and giving their honest opinions. Both were extremely personable and professional. One of the best parts of the experience was the opportunity to hold our favorites for two weeks so that we could really think it over. Thanks for making such a stressful decision a little easier!!

Dont buy from Mont Granite. There are many other more reputable granite companies. I purchased 2 pieces of granite, had my cabinets painted to match and had them sent to the fabricator. Mont sent the wrong pieces and insisted they were the ones I purchased. Thankfully I had photos proving them wrong. They had no answer and were unconcerned. The worst of this experience was that the owner was indifferent. She showed no remorse and did not even offer an apology. This is not how to run a business. DO NOT BUY FROM MONT GRANITE, if something goes wrong, they will not take responsibility and put it on you.

Was apprehensive about reading a few 1 star reviews but happy to report our experience was beyond pleasurable. The staff was very helpful & they helped us find a perfect piece of stone in our price range. The selection is amazing, the showroom is beautiful, & they have a price for many budgets. Highly recommended for a good deal & a fun experience.

Top-Notch Company! We have worked with Mont Surfaces for 15 years. As a fabricator, Mont is, in essence, an extension of our company. Our clients have been impressed by their friendly staff and the large selection of material they offer. They are constantly striving to find ways to improve their business which, in turn, makes for a better experience for our clients. This is a 5 STAR COMPANY!!

I have a granite fabrication shop in Euclid and frequently buy natural stone and quartz from Mont. Their sales staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. They have a great variety of stone in every price range, I always know my customers will be taken care of when they go to Mont. If we ever have quality issues (though rare) they take care of them - its so nice to know they stand behind their products.

Was referred to Mont by my contractor, so i made an appointment. being a single lady, the sales staff/associates were very helpful and knowledgable, answering all my dumb questions. i spent a fair amount of time back in the warehouse area, not made to feel hurried or rushed, and an associate regularly checked to see if i had any other questions. when i went back a second time to finally purchase my choice, i couldnt have been made to feel more of a valued client. this was a year ago. my kitchen & bath granite still looks as beautiful as it did when i picked it out.. thank you for such a good experience, as i had no clue as to what i was doing! i have sent several of my friends up to Mont and their experiences have been just as satisfying.

Beautiful selections, prices that are hard to beat, and knowledgeable staff. If youre looking for granite, quartz, travertine, soapstone, you name it, they have it. Weve been sending customers for years, and we do not plan to change.

We were referred here by a contractor, we called ahead and went to look at the selection on Saturday 9/9. They do have a large selection but the woman assisting us was balantly rude. She kept going on and on how understaffed they were and made for a horrible experience. She would not even answer any questions we did have because she was to busy. We felt rushed to make decisions and on what we wanted with no feed back. There were 3 sales people staffed that day and the other two were doing an excellent job assisting other costumers in the warehouse. We will be checking out other suppliers in the area today.
