This place needs some major work! May be climate controlled, but insides have a mildew/pee smell. Door closers dont close or are broken off. Doorway thresholds need a transition - cant get a flat cart to go over the 2 ( at least) bump-up...especially with a loaded cart.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kim, the manager. She was always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The unit, hallways, outside areas were always clean and well maintained. Kim followed up with us to check on our satisfaction after move in. She also called because she had noticed our unit no longer had a lock on it. We had just emptied the unit earlier in the day and I had not had a chance to call to let her know. An entirely different experience from our last one with Public Storage.

Customer service here is top notch, the units are clean and presentable and the overall feel is welcoming. I am in the process of buying a home and my closing just got pushed back two weeks, creating a super stressful situation where I had no idea what I would do with my belongings during the unexpected and extended period of time before my move. I visited the Somerset Cube Smart location in need of a quick assistance and had Kimora and Anna helping me. The two of them were so kind, so patient and so helpful, that when I left, I forgot how stressed I felt when I arrived. This place and its staff was exactly what I needed in this really stressful period of my move.

Your Easton Ave Somerset employee, Kim.I spoke with Kim a few times over the past couple months and each time she went above and beyond to help me.I just moved from Somerset to Freehold and she went so far as to call CubeSmartIn Freehold To say I might be moving my things to the Freehold Cubesmart and gave me the name of the store manager she spoke to and what the cost would be. When I finally moved out of the Easton Avenue location she was incredibly nice, giving me a granola bar and a small spider plant as a parting gift.

Great customer service! Kim was very sweet and helpful over the phone as well as in person. Answered all my questions and made the reservation process easy. The Cubesmart storage is a lot cheaper then Public Storage which a huge plus as well and an added bonus of their month to month rentals. Will definitely recommend this facility going forward!

The storage was locked on the first day, I had to come back again to find out that the lock is not in the storage room as said in the email.Wasted 2 days for nothing.

Automation was quick and easy.. Had a a storage space in 10 minutes.. Family... BUT BUYER BEAWARE !! DO NOT DO AUTO PAY.. if theres a glitch anywhere they do not like to work with you and refund money !!!

First let me say that moving is ALWAYS DIFFICULT and long distance moves are no better, HOWEVER my first initial contact was with Kim Howard and her professionalism, manners, and sense of humor sealed the deal for me. She was in trainings but you would have never known due to her knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to assist us. The management was incredibly helpful and pleasant to speak with. Unfortunately we had a few setbacks with our unit where we had a few roaches and mold grew on several pieces of our furniture.

Cubesmart was a good choice for our office storage purpose because of its roomy and spacious stores, The place is clean and they have 2 convenient locations in Somerset itself. The Manger, Kim and the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly and made our experience there very pleasant. But on the down side though, we found them to be a little expensive. Needed to store a few college apartment furnishings. The staff was quick, friendly and always responsive. The climate controlled units were perfect and not musty. The units are clean! Never had a problem parking, loading/unloading. Did I mention the units were CLEAN!!!! I’ve rented other locations that smelt like previous renters or neighboring units... I was so happy the items we stored don’t smell musty, or like a locker room!!!Will definitely rent here again!!!

I previously gave this place 5 stars because the customer service was great. However, they recently went up extremely high on my monthly rent. It’s definitely not worth it and I will be finding another unit elsewhere to lease.

I had such a bad experience at the cube smart in somerset NJ. I chose to use cube smart because my last experience was amazing. The people, the service, the space was just great. However the one in somerset, NJ was just terrible. It was so bad the movers suggested i find another storage spot but i couldn’t because i had to go back to work and my company already paid for the transfer. I will NEVER use this storage company again!

It was a Saturday when I went to Cube Smart, the manager was unfortunately by himself and rather busy, but that didnt stop him from being courteous and helpful. He showed me several spaces until I found just what I needed. The area is clean and I feel very safe going by myself. I like that my unit is climate controlled. but when I went there late one night, it seemed a bit chillier than I expected. I like the keypad entry system, but would like brighter lights on the keypads themselves.

Our experience renting a unit was good. They are friendly and most agreeably showed me 2different units so that I could decide which fit our needs better. The place is clean, and so easy to get in and out of, and so close, right on Easton Ave. glad we rented here.

Anthony was great, professional, relocated my garage for me due to some pavement repairs that were going to start in that area. when we walked down the space after talking in the office he saw the impacted area in front of my garage. He remembered me saying I would be frequently visiting moving items both in and out and he simply took me to another location so I wouldnt have any incoviences accessing my garage during the construction. Very considerate, thank you.

Definitely a clean and organized facility that is not the issue, the issue is the nickel and diming that happens after you get the initial price. Aside from the rental tax you get charged adminstrative fee which is high, the protection plan, the lock (at 18.00), then on top of that when you pay online they charge you a convenience fee. Again all is good with the physical but I will look at other alternatives that dont nickel and dime.

My younger sister passed away in January and had a storage unit for years for her non profit organization. I must say, the Staff at Cubesmart was AMAZING. They was able to work with me and was able to vacate the unit. David was great.Thank you for everything.Highly recommend Cubesmart

The staff in the location (Lou Mendez and the store manager Carrie Russo) were great and provided all the information before the move and the check-in process was simple. We did not have any issue and the storage was clean and ready when we arrived. I recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a place to store around this area!ThanksVenkat
