I got my prescription done somewhere else but came here for the glasses because I knew Pearle Vision is the place with the unique and interesting frames. I found what I wanted right away and these guys helped me figure out all the right features for the lenses, then optimize my available discounts to get the best deal. The person who cut the lenses had that pride in their work that goes with knowing your craft - respect!

This location genuinely cares about your eyes and making sure you get fitted into the appropriate contact lenses and glasses. Daiane and Amanda are exceptionally amazing and truly tended to my needs, I 10/10 recommend them to anyone! They truly care about you and answer any question you need without any hesitation. When you head there, definitely ask for one of them! :)

Dr. Alex was excellent and awesome at explaining everything! I had some pain in my left eye and Dr. Alex was very meticulous during the eye exam. The staff is very helpful and kind too !

The staff was very friendly and did a great job on a short notice. Got an exam that was very fast and easy. Many different frames to choose from some are pricey but well worth it. They cut your glasses in house if they have the correct lens within an hour. Would highly recommend anyone needing glasses whether its the first time or to get a new prescription.

Amanda was incredible! She is so excited and happy about her work and very committed to making each client have the best experience. The place is super clean and nicely organized, there is also plenty of parking onsite. Doctor Taylor made me feel comfortable and safe during the eye exam. My best friend told me about this place a few years ago. I was in need of some new frames, and I am so glad I made the appointment here. They are easy to schedule with. The staff was professional and kind and the store manager Daiane was great! She explained my prescription to me very thoroughly and took her time and helped me pick out several frames until I decided on the one I purchased . My Insurance covered everything except for my co-pay and anti-glare coating . Great deal and I had my glasses in just a hour . I will return next year.

AMAZING! This is the best word to describe my experience at Pearl Vision @ Twin City. I haven’t bought glasses from any big retailer in many many years and swore never to do so again. But Amanda was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in helping me get my glasses taken care of quickly. At no moment did I feel pressured to buy. If anything I was pleased to be purchasing my glasses here. I literally took longer to go pick up my glasses than what she took to get them made and ready (under one hr btw). It was a great experience! I wasnt in the best of moods because I have a hard time around people especially with everything thats going on! Dr. Taylor Metzer was very kind and made me very comfortable being there and Amanda took time to fix my old glasses and had great patience with me because Im very indecisive. But long story short I had the best experience in a long time at an appointment anywhere in a long time. Came here on a Saturday because my glasses broke and Amanda was able to get me a new pair of glasses in under a hour!!! She was so charismatic and went above and beyond to accommodate me so I wouldn’t stay without glasses!

Amanda was extremelly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process -- unparalleled customer service. She helped me pick out a new frame and gave a price well below that of any other optical shop. Amanda went above and beyond and even fixed the broken nose pads on my old glasses to make them more comfortable while I wait for the new pair! Additionally, the shop took extra precautions to prevent spread of germs by removing from the shelf any glasses the customers touched for sanitizing. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to get a new pair of glasses.

I’ve been going to this location for over 10 years. I’ve recently called and asked for my glasses prescription so that I could order glasses online, and I was told that my prescription cannot be given over the phone because they need to verify my identity. I gave the woman ALL of my information, and she proceeded to say that I have to tell her my prescription, and she can only verify if it was correct or not. If I’m calling to inquire about my prescription, why would I know my prescription to give to her for her to verify? Secondly, she told me that she could only do one of three options since I didn’t know it which was to fax it, have me pick it up, or fax it to the company I’m ordering my glasses from which made absolutely no sense.How is it that I can call a BANK and give necessary information for them to verify me and give me information OVER THE PHONE, but you can’t give me my glasses prescription?

Usually I dont like to complain but I tried to schedule an app with the girl at the front desk, she was absolutely so rude and clueless about insurances. Terrible customer service, this place is close to my house and I ended up going somewhere else and had a very good experience. Lost a potential customer.

I give 4 stars to the doctors here. They are great.i been coming here for years. Pearl vision is very expensive. With my insurance just for lenses NO FRAME came to $240.00 and I felt like I was getting ripped off BIG TIME.I went over to target Watertown optical. I got new sunglasses and new eye glasses both rays ban Brand for $355.00. That price was insurance for one pair the shades and the other pair they have a 40% off deal.Doing my business at target for now on.

Dr. Taylor is incredible. We went for a second opinion regarding my young daughters strabismus diagnosis and she went above and beyond. She was so patient with me and my daughter and explained everything in more detail than any ophthalmologist ever has for us. She helped validate my feelings and gave me a solid plan for follow-up with her. I am so grateful for Dr. Taylor and highly recommend her!

Needed glasses in 30 min as i had to be on a train and last day for benefits- i usually take 6 months to shop. Dianne DaSilva was an absolute pro. Within 10 min she showed me about 5 that fit and looked reasonable. She took care to make sure of size. She shipped them to my address. I forgot my glasses there which they also shipped in two days! No charge. I really like my new glasses.

Have had all my kids go there. Great crew, very knowledgeable. Been using them for 3 plus years. Just got one of my kids contacts and they did a great job with the prescription. Thank you for all the help.

I happened to stop at this store on the way to work last month. I wanted to purchase new glasses. Upon entering the store, I was promptly and warmly greeted by Daiane, the store manager. She took the time to show me a huge selection of glasses in my price range. She spoke Spanish which was a big help. The other places I previously visited just told me hello and ignored me the rest of the time. I highly recommend this store. They have the best service, friendly and professional.

Worse service received in my life.Got the feeling from the first moment that only thing they care about is to cash an extra dollar.When ordered my prescription sunglass, they took too long to have them ready. They had over a week and a half, but still I went on vacation without my glasses. In my return, I picked them up and realized that the glasses had 2 issues:- glue on the sides. It is clear in the pictures that there is glue or some other sign of questionable craftsmanship. (image below, taken on the day that I received them)- one glass darker than other. When looking at the phone screen, for example, one of the lenses is much darker than the other.went back, dropped them off and waited another week to have them ready. Finally they were good.2 months after, I started noticing that the frame of the glasses was getting loose, so I stopped by and asked. They couldnt help.$750 dollars after, I got a decent pair of sun glasses, the worse customer service in my life.Writing this hoping that you dont go there, even if it is the most convenient store for you. Worth the effort!!

Amazing service, saved my eyes after I had certain issues with it. Accommodated me biweekly as he was monitoring my eyes. I ended up purchasing super chic frames from them and had them make the lenses, they had the thin option which I loved, because it was a difficult transition for me, to switch from contacts back to glasses. My eyes are great now and I thank Dr. Alex P for it all. He is friendly, very knowledgeable and runs a great practice! Thank you thank you thank you for it all. Highly recommended!

41 years old and never had an eye exam let alone glasses before this past week! Its kind of intimidating trying to pick out glasses, especially when you dont know anything about them, but Daiane was incredibly friendly and accomodating while my boy friend and I shopped around. Its always comforting to be in the care of people who genuinely care and are obviously super knowledgable! They made the process easy and went to great lengths to take care of me. Im forever grateful to Pearle Vision.. My glasses were stolen and I have bad vision so I called in and explain that without my glasses I cant work or function at all for that matter. They found me an appointment on the same day. While they didnt have my exact glasses in stock, the lab tech were able to cut very close something, just to they would allow me to leave with a loaner pair in my eyes which then allowed me to get back to work and school. They were life savers because I was desperate. I was amazed that the store manager Daiane stayed long beyond closing time to cut the loaner for me. Remember I cant function without my glasses its because I have a very bad eyesight -7.5. Again, Im forever grateful to Pearle Vision.

This place is a hidden gem and a staple in the community, amidst the Twin City strip mall. Particularly the level of care that I receive from Dr. Alex Russakovsky. I saw him for about 3 years as my optometrist, then moved out of state. I had some horrible experiences with other eye doctors during that time (including being prescribed the wrong script, which was a nightmare). Coming back to this Pearl Vision Center was so delightful. The people here are happy, honest and welcoming. I get an awesome/thorough eye exam where Dr. Alex takes the time to answer all of my questions, and shows sincere care for my well-being.The receptionist, Cullen, is calm and thoughtful. The ladies in the front store super-friendly and checked in with me to make sure everything’s legit before I walked out the door. Amanda in the front is expressive, friendly, and really took the time to engage with what’s best for me. They seem to have a really streamlined, seamless approach to communication between the doctors office in the back and the store in the front. They do what they can to get you a deal on glasses and work with lots of different insurance providers. Daiane and Nina were very helpful, too.Tonight I found out I have severe dry eye disease and Dr Alex took many many minutes to explain to me what I need to do to get back on track with my eye health.I was able to get new glasses (with the correct prescription, after 2 tries at other doctors) at a discount within less than 1 hour!!Super-Bueno over here. I highly recommend.

The woman who did the eye exam was kind. But the 2 women working out front are rude and act as if your a noosense. Especially when you are getting mass health glasses. Dont expect to feel welcome or any help in choosing glasses. I go to another pearl vision location and ive always felt like a valued person. Not here.

Inept - Something You DONT Want in Healthcare1. Doctor Sandra Mark measured my existing eyeglasses for starting points. When she tested my right eye, everything was uneventful. However, when she switched to my left eye, I could not see the projected rectangle with letters on the wall. All I could see was a white blur. It was so far off that I could not make out a single letter. Nevertheless, she persisted with the is this better... or is this better routine for a few minutes until I insisted that she stop, since I was getting a headache. She took my existing eyeglasses out of the room to have someone else measure them. When she came back, she reset the machine and the procedure proceeded uneventfully.2. The young lady who helped with picking out frames had never heard of computer glasses (their focal point is about 22 inches away, in case you have not heard of them either). She looked very confused and it was quite clear that she and I were talking past each other. I slowly explained that I was considering two pairs of glasses: a standard pair of bifocals and a pair for computer work. Well, that would just be the distance prescription without the bifocal. When I told her she was wrong, she gave me an annoyed look, went in the back, and obviously had someone explain to her what computer glasses were. She came back and said it would just be half of the near and far bifocal prescriptions -- which I dont think is actually correct.Im going to shell out for a new eye exam somewhere else.

Not a great selection of frames. When my lenses were ready to be picked up, they told me to call ahead to make sure a technician was in that day before I came in to install them in my frames. They indicated that the technician was in that day. I drove long and far through rush hour only to find the technician was actually not there, wasting my time.

Not bad but when I call for a copy of my invoice I get no call back and no email just ignores my requests looks like Ill be going back to my original eye doctor

Disappointing. I visited Pearle Vision because my insurance company had this location on their provider list. I called ahead to check that insurance covered the routine eye exam. When scheduling, I specifically chose a routine eye exam and not a contact lens fitting. Day of appointment - Im surprised with a $90 upcharge for a contact lens fitting that I did not ask for and did not consent to, after specifically asking for just an update in the prescription (i.e., the diopters). I would avoid this place or, if you must visit, check exactly what procedure theyre doing at each stage to avoid surprise charges.

When I went for my appointment I was told they couldnt examine a disabled person in a wheelchair, I was so upset. I had told the person who made my appointment that I was in a wheelchair she never told me they couldnt help me. the eye doctor argued with me about not specifically telling the receptionist that I could not transfer. Isnt that her job to ask?

Not feeling the customer service here at all. We still waiting to get checked out. And still waiting! Why, I dont know!
