I bought a really nice jacket there. That’s not the issue, the issue is that their store hours are not consistent, they have it listed as closing at 9 and when me and a buddy showed up at 830 so he could checkout some jackets after I recommended it to him they were closed. Like doors shut and person at the register told us it was closed. Not good business practice to close early on potential customers. But I do like my jacket so that saves them from a 1-2 star review
They treat there store managers awful and the district manager and regional manager for the Boston stores are not professional at all. Also the dm was not doing her job when she wonders why there was so much inventory gone in the store when she didn’t do a store audit for almost two years. It starts with the top. Also when the company wanted to hire sales staff for next to nothing you shouldn’t expect a staff to work hard when they don’t have a reason too. I always say pay the team good and you will get better results when you are invested in your employees. They have had so many store managers leave on a monthly basis because how the company is run. . I have ran many store with over 25 employees and loved almost every store I ran and the teams. Shame on Wilson Leather, its not a surprise your company is gong under.
Great value for moneyThis place has some great clearance stock from time to time and a great selection of brands to choose fromI find the service was great. The young lady who helped me was lovely and very willing to help me find what I was looking forThey didn’t have my size but instead of a leather jacket I walked of there with a beautiful leather bag which came in very handy for my travels home. Reduced from its original price of $300 mine was a bargain at $65!I was there in sept this year.Please LIKE my review if you found it valuable.

I bought a pair of leather gloves at a price off. The belt for tight up the glove was really fragile so it came off my glove. I threw a tag and receipt because I thought I dont need to return it. Unfortunately, theres nothing they can do without tag and receipts. I know its hard to exchange or return without a receipt but the gloves are really awful. I was really disappointed with disability. The staffs are fine
My husband finally got the leather coat he wanted; hopefully, this time, he wont ruin it. The attendant was helpful and patient, and the checkout clerk was very informative offering my husband some spray to help protect the leather. Also, the price was very reasonable.
Above and beyond service at Wilson’s leather. The staff went out of their way to make sure I found what I was looking for and truly made me feel valued. I rarely leave reviews but I couldn’t have been more impressed with the customer experience at this store. I’ll be back!
They sell best brands of leather goods which huge discounts on them. Whenever I visit USA I visit Wilson Leather too. I really love their jackets and bags.

The worst customer service that i have ever been through in wilsons leather from the store manager called Terry i was really surprised how she was very offensive and didn’t want to accept my student ID asking for an extra discount that i always get it from the same store and others, and she was trying to explain That i m not able to take discount like she wants to fight ..This is the last time that i will buy from this wilsons leather in assembly square.
UPDATE 11.12.2019: I had reached out to Wilsons customer service about the faulty zipper issue described below. Well, they did finally get back to me a month later. And they replaced the jacket!!Hopefully the new zipper will hold up. Its not a YKK but it does appear more robust than the one on the previous jacket. Kudos to Wilsons customer svc.Beware faulty zippers in recent vintage Wilsons Leather jackets.My wife and daughter purchased a Thinsulate-lined Bomber Jacket at this Wilsons Leather store for approximately $400 in 2017. Wore it about 20 times. Zipper is now completely useless. The teeth keep separating--even after repairing it twice. The insertion pin at the bottom of the zipper is torn away. Its obvious what the problem is. Wilsons has switched from high quality YKK zippers--such as used in the Wilsons jacket I bought in 2008-- to low quality Chinese knockoffs. A leather jacket should be expected to last 20 years or more. I still have my Dads Korean War bomber jacket, for heavens sake. The zip is perfect.I returned to the store in Assembly Row, Somerville, MA, and reported the problem to the assistant manager, and simply pointed to their 60 day return policy. Absolutely no attempt to hear me out or make it right.Then I contacted customer service number, with no reply. They say, leave a message and we will return your call in 24 hours. A joke.They are clearly pushing a defective product and are unwilling to make good on their decision to use cheap zippers. I will now have to spend $120 to have it replaced. The jacket is otherwise a nice product, or I wouldnt both. But its shocking to have to do this. And to get such poor customer support.Thumbs down on Wilsons Leather jackets.
Had I written this review a month ago, it would have gotten 1 star and thatwould have been solely for Schuyler always saving the day (shes awesome). The previous manager was so hard to deal with. Since this was the only convenient location, I shopped here often (I really love the quality and affordability of the products). But that manager was some kind of off. She was disrespectful, rude, etc. etc. etc. And when you informed her of her behavior, she would automatically switch to this really annoying and obviously forced chipperness (smiling through clenched teeth) as if she was practicing from being previously scolded. *GAG* Once, I made a return and she pretended the system was down and had me waiting 30 minutes for it to come back up. I told her to call corporate to see when it would be fixed. Once she saw that I was serious, she then processed the return. I called corporate to complain and they knew nothing of what she was referring to! As in, she made up her own policies!!!Fast forward to now, I am extremely excited about the new manager. Just a week ago, I walked passed the store to see if I could catch a glimpse of who was in the store (yes, looking to see if the now former manager was there). I tiptoed into the store and before I could really focus my vision to make out faces, I was pleasantly greeted by a man named Zack. I was stunned! Like, wow! I was thinking, Whoever he is, he just gave me the nerve and energy to shop regardless! And shop I did. At checkout, I met Schuyler. So happy to see her face again! She remembered me and immediately told me that the store had a new manager. She was grinning from ear to ear while delivering the news. I asked if that is why former staff had returned (I noticed one or two familiar faces that had vanished and apparently reappeared under new management). I also asked if Zack was new. Schuyler squeaked, HE is the new manager!!! Like, double wow! What a contrast in attitudes between the former manager and Zack.I write this dissertation-like review because I know that if any of you out there had bad shopping experiences with this location, you will be pleasantly surprised with the new management. Wilsons is not paying me to say this. Seriously, I really love their products. And I am ultra excited that I have a newfound relationship with Wilsons, Zack and Schuyler (& of course the others that I have not had a chance to interact with just yet).
Wallets are made of very bad quality leather. Despite being it not that cheap for a normal wallet (20 something bucks after a deal!), the leather started to fall apart after just few days. Do not buy your wallet from here.
Worest customer service I have ever seen. The manager doesnot respect customers. They are very nice when you buy from them. But when you have a problem with a product or online order or want to return. They will give you any excuse in order not to return unless you will buy something else from them. My wife had to go for the store 3 times to return a defective coat. Every time, the manager is telling her the system is down and they cannot do it in that day. In her third time, my wife told her that she will not leave until they do return their defective coat so the manager returned it after trying to give her store credit instead of her money back . Be careful, most of there items are defective brand items so examine it carefully before leaving the store.
Dont bother with this location. The manager is completely crazy. I was looking through the window after the store was closed and the manager came out screaming at me to get away and the store was closed. I told her we were just looking through the window. She kept screaming that the store was closed. Went back to complain the next day. Thats when we realized the manager was the crazy lady from the night before. She refused to give her name or the district /regional managers name. She wanted my name so she could call the police on me! Avoid at all costs!

The worst shopping experience Ive ever had. The associate, Ashley, who assisted me was very pleasant. The Manager was rude, abrasive and disrespectful. Refused to hand me my bag after I purchased my items and as I was walking out the door called me a derogatory name. I asked for the store managers name and number and she refused to give it to me. Instead she contacted Somerville Police Department and told them that I was yelling and trespassing. AFTER I spent my money. I appreciate Ashley and the SPD for their professionalism but I would never spend a penny in this establishment again and I encourage everyone to spend their money with retailers who value and appreciate you.

New manager (Tania) = POOR customer service! Bought an expensive computer bag ($179) about 3 weeks ago. Used it four days later and realized it was missing the shoulder strap. Called and was told to just come back to pick one up. Today I am told that I should have checked before leaving the store (fair enough), that I need a paper receipt (....many stores dont even give paper receipts any more), and that the transaction history is not stored anywhere in the computer system, neither under my name, phone number, nor my frequent customer program!Ive been a customer at this store since they opened and always found the staff friendly and helpful. That is no longer the case. Regrettably I encourage you to shop ANOTHER LEATHERS LOCATION.

Sales woman rang up a purse twice so when I went back they would not let me return one of them.( even though I paid for TWO purses) Manager was unprofessional about it and said she could do nothing about it, she wouldnt even come into the store just outside telling me there wasnt much that could be done. (The head manager will talk to district manager, and I should give her a call in a week....she was not personable and didnt even take my number)
