We were on a family RV trip a few months ago when we ran into the unexpected and the RV broke down... We found Barrys online and from the initial phone call they were nothing but helpful! They stayed open late to greet us (and the tow truck)! They had power and water for us to hook up to and let us spend the night in their lot! On top of that they let us use one of their cars to get around town that evening. The next morning they had us up and running in no time! It was a rather simple repair and they wouldnt accept any payment from us. 800 miles from home and we felt like we were with family! A great place with great people and we would highly recommend Barrys to anyone! Our family is forever grateful!

Dave is the Man!Back in June20, I had the opportunity to buy a nice motorcycle from them.Dave was the person that helped me to complete the transaction - He was not only fair, transparent, and honest when he was answering all my questions but also by going Above and Beyond when I had a simple problem with the bike.He went to my house to pick up the bike, evaluated the problem and put me back on the road in an effective wayToday I connected with him to discuss a really interesting topic: to Winterize my motorcycle, again he provided enough and simple answers to my concerns that allow me to realize it was a great decision to make business with Dave. - cant wait to do more business with himBTW- if you are riding a real bike, dont forget to load gas to your bikes!

Holly at the front desk could not be nicer and her customer service is top notch! I have an older car that needed some emergency repair work and they fit me in.. Not only did they fit me in but they got it done earlier than I had expected for a price that was more than fair.. They are my go to mechanics from now on and I will be referring all of my friends!

I went to Barrys for some work on my subaru. I found them to be really affordable and they did a fantastic job. I will absolutely use them for future automotive needs and would recommend them.

Made an appointment for Monday to have my car looked at. Dropped it off an borrowed a friends car. However, they didn’t examine it on Monday or even Tuesday. They waited until Wednesday to finally look over my car. When I pressed them on why it took so long they made it seem like it’s standard to go without your car for days before it gets examined. Even though the appointment was for Monday. On top of that when they eventually looked over my car they quoted me a price $500 more than what I have now been quoted at a different shop. Do not waste your time here.

Went to Barry’s as a result of a recommendation from one of my customers. I was in town working as a contractor and my UV Joint went out on my truck. Barry not only fixed my vehicle but his rate was very reasonable. I was very hesitant because I’m use to fixing my own, but I have no regrets going to this business. I will be recommending Barry’s to all my techs.

I called them and was able to get my car in the next day, they let me know within an hour or so that I had to replace my clutch. They ordered the part & gave me an estimate the next day and I was able to get it back the day after! It wasnt cheap, but knowing that it was getting fixed by folks who really know transmission issues was worth the price!! Friendly & knowledgeable people made an unhappy repair far more enjoyable. I didnt even think twice about calling them, as they have been THE name in transmission repair for as long as I can remember. I wouldnt hesitate to refer them or to go again when in need. I purchased a Jeep Rubicon from Dave last month. The vehicle was as advertised and in great condition. The team made it simple and easy. Had an o2 sensor go the following day, Dave had it replaced at no charge. My experience has been fantastic and I have no problem recommending them. Save yourself time and energy and stop here first.

This is the first time Ive ever reviewed anything on Google. Due to the treatment on the phone I feel strongly enough to do so, with that said, you may have a totally different experience.Friday I inquired about a vehicle and received an email with a few questions from a member of Barrys team. I responded twice with no answer. Today, Monday 2-3-19, I called and asked to speak with the individual who previously emailed me. The phone call goes as follows:Me: Hi may I speak to H****?Male worker at Barrys: Shes not here click.Call backSame male worker: BarrysMe: Yes, I believe weve been disconnected is there anyone else I can speak with?Barrys worker: WHAT DO YOU NEED? Click...Call back no answer.Maybe I wasnt clear enough or didnt speak slack-jawed yokel well enough?Again your experience may be different but be warned. Ive found plenty of, well, I found that EVERY dealership has been more professional in the Burlington area.

Great Service. Barrys Automotive will do what is needed to to get your Transmission Repaired and get u on your way. My vehicle a 2004 Lincoln ls was having hard shift issues. my transmission is one of the infamous ford 5R5S 5 speed automatic. very difficult transmission to work on. I am glad to say i just picked up the vehicle from the professionals at Barrys The trans was fully rebuilt and it works great now. Thanks. i would highly recommend Barrys for any transmission work u may need. Thanks. My total bill for the transmission rebuild was about $2,900 Not a bad price at all..

I took an old car to have the transmission checked. They worked on the car checking it, driving it, several times during the day. Turns out that the car was fine. They charged us nothing! This is the fourth time in 25 years weve gone here and Id recommend them to everyone. Very skilled and very honest.

Barrys did an amazing job under coating my f250 and they also did an amazing job repainting my rockers. Took care of it like it was their own. Highly recommend.

I brought my 2013 pathfinder to Barrys and not only was I treated with the up most respect this is bye far one of the best place for transmission to be fixed . They not only beat the local and national companies for price they have an knowledge staff who went to great lengths to explain the problem to us and what to due I highly recommend them dont go any were else or your going to be sorry. This was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle in my life. They worked with our trade to give us the best possible deal they could. When there was a paperwork problem they ate the cost and in essence lowered our payment. The 2005 van that I bought had an issue with the A/C and sliding side door they fixed it with no questions asked and they are working great right now. They have taken care of all the issues with the vehicle, and I could not be happier. The professionalism, and quality service, and knowlegeable sales staff is the best I have ever met. I will never use a dealership ever again. I will only buy quality used cars, and when I am in the market for another one I will use Barrys Auto Sales.

Do not shop Barrys all you receive is harrasment over nothing they dont Honor services and its all smoke and mirrors! Over priced cars dont recommend!

After taking my Jeep Cherokee to a number of mechanics, Barrys Automotive solved my transmission problem. The work is solid and the price was competitive. Im now a fan of Barrys.

PROS: The customer service was good & I like the family owned business. They were clean and professional. However the prices - not so much.CONS: I was charged $300 to replace my simple battery. I am obviously not made of money, nor have the best vehicle. I am a young female student. You would think an honest person would suggest a few other alternatives to their cost knowing that it would be 3x what I could do it myself for. Obviously cant do automotive work or I wouldnt be there but I can sure change a battery. That ridiculous price really hurt my finances. I could have just as easily gone to an auto parts store to buy the battery & replaced it myself for free, there has got to be some sort of way to avoid charging $90 an hour labor for a simple, simple thing like changing a battery. I mean yeah know what your time is worth but that was just terrible.I went there in the first place to have their previous work fixed for the second time and mentioned that my car was having trouble starting. I was told it would need a new battery. I asked the guy how much would this cost & he told me between $80 and $100. I thought that was reasonable but he did not mention the labor charge on top of that which I thought was included in the quote I had just received! I definitely felt taken advantage of & they knew it as well but didnt care to say anything or make any other siggestions. Ive changed my battery before plenty of times, but after giving me this quote I agreed to it and the work was already done so I paid. Nothing personal but my suggestion guys is to be CLEAR when you quote someone for a simple job like that because if I had been told the real price I would have done it myself. Unfortunately you did lose a customer but hopefully gained some insight into better business practices in order to ensure repeat customers!

We were going to purchase a car from a dealership and we had to wait a few weeks due to personal reasons, by the time we could buy it he had sold it to Barrys automotive who was selling it for almost double the price. When we told him we knew where he got the car and what he paid and asked him to come down a small amount compared to Profit he would still make (trying to make almost 3500 off of a car he paid 4500 for) He laughed in my face and said and I quote its not my fault I got a good deal and you missed out on it. Stay away from the salesman with the long grey hair, he is not a personable guy he is not kind and I have no idea how he got this job, he was unbelievably rude.

Took My 07 rav 4 to the dealer because of swaying and noise while driving. Dealer said it was struts so we put new struts on. It didnt make a difference. Took it to Barrys they looked at it and found a bad rear control arm which was a recall that was repaired by toyota. They called toyota and tried to get them to cover it under recall but the dealer told them they only replace it once and that they would have to by a new one. The guy at the counter at Barrys went way out of his way dealing with toyota to get them to cover the part but they wouldnt. Needless to say Barrys changed the part and had the rav4 aligned. OMG!!! what a difference, the car rides great now and feels safe again!!!! Thank your Barrys !!!
