Chris was fast and efficient in finding in 2 minutes what would have taken 30 in home depot. Covid safety was extremely well done was a huge plus because we cater to the elderly.

Not as big as it seems but you can find most of what you need here. Sunday hours are the best part - very few hardware stores in this area are open Sundays.

5 stars for being an essential business and being available to the community but lost 3 stars for poor customer service for my mower repair. Was told a week for mower repair and called 11 days later to check on repair status. Before even checking, was told most likely repair was not done if I had not been called yet. Wow! I then stated it had been over a week and was then told that repair times were 7 to 10 days out which was different than I was initially informed. Only then, did he check on my repair and told me it was indeed complete and that a call had been made and voicemail left. I explained that I had not received any calls or voicemail but would pick up. Today I picked up mower and explained to gentleman that I had not received any calls or voicemail. He then stated that I was called and that he personally left the message and that it wasnt his fault. I wasnt rude at all just wanted to let him know again that noone called. I stated that I wasnt placing blame anywhere just that I never got a call and maybe a wrong number was dialed. He then asked for my telephone number (I gave him twice before dropping off) and what do you know, he had typed the wrong number in my contact. He finally apologized. At this point, I was so over the experience. I paid the price remainder price which was $15 more than initially quoted. It was not worth my efforts to dispute seeing how negative my experience was already. I will never visit this store again. Just a very negative and pretty rude and argumentative for no given reason.

Work worst customer service I’ve probably ever experienced in a hardware store I went in because I got the wrong product from Home Depot so when I went in to ask for the right thing because it was right around the corner I started off with I got this at Home Depot and the guy started yelling at me saying I don’t care where you got a way that’s why you got it wrong you should’ve came here making me feel terrible for stating the question like that I don’t understand how these mom and pop shops can survive with customer service like that extremely disappointing won’t be going back rude people working there

Carter and his crew are the best. If you have anything older they have the knowledge you need if not they can tell you who can help. An awesome little town bunch with the big business ability. My father and I have a 50 year old business that stands behind South Euclid Hardware with everything. If carter does not have something he will get it for you.

Worst experience ever. I was hoping to frequent a store close to home in South Euclid and now I will have to go elsewhere. Customer is always right? Not here. All I wanted was a spark plug for my string trimmer and the old guy in there read me the riot act in a loud condescending voice. He could have just told me to take it somewhere else when I walked in and that it would be difficult for him to find the right plug. Instead he berated me and stated that I owed him a thank you for looking up the plug number in the system. Sorry that I stopped in; I wont make that mistake again.

Ive been coming to SE Hardware for years and will continue to do so. This is the kind of business that we need to support. A locally-owned, community-based business that employs knowledgeable, friendly veterans but also a few high school students who can answer some questions rather than merely stand at the cash register and scan bar codes. They are making some spending money but also learning. Isnt that what we want when our kids look for part-time jobs?Admittedly, the prices in SE Hardware can be a bit higher--occasionally more than a bit--than the behemoth home improvement stores (i.e., Home Depot or Lowes). But the extra dollars buy genuine attention and guidance. And if you go home, something goes wrong and you need to go back for more help. You often get to talk to the same person, who actually remembers the project.Keep your dollars in the community in this wonderful store.
