Super cute little ice cream shop that has some delicious cookies that are made fresh daily and in house. Their customer service is amazing and they always make you feel super welcome. My favorite spot after a long day and a sweet spot to take the kids.

The organic coffee is insanely good. The cookies and icecream are all handmade and it tastes like it. Reminds me of my childhood.

Cute little place. The cookies were good, I recommend the cinnamon sugar one! We also tried the horchata ice cream and it was very true to flavor. A bit overpriced but thats okay. Lots of parking also.

Super delicious treat! Ice cream sandwich made with a sugar cookie, cream cheese/berry ice cream and a Mexican chocolate cookie. The Mexican chocolate and cinnamon sugar combination was the perfect mix. Thanks Ms. K for the suggestion❤I also purchased 1 chocolate chip and 1 oatmeal raisin cookie... ate it today (the next day) and they were just as soft and chewy as they were yesterday.

I put an order for pick up through their website for a dozen cookies and ice cream. I waited maybe 2 minutes because the cookies were barely coming out of the oven. Im saying that as in its a good thing! The cookies were freshly made and we had to wait about 5 minutes so they could be cold enough to eat.I ordered 6 chocolate abuelita and 6 chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate abuelita cookies were bomb! The ice cream was chocolate and it was really good!They were so good! I recommend supporting them during this time! Support local businesses!

My wife and I stopped by this establishment recently because it’s a new local business and it felt refreshing to find a gem like this down Tweedy Blvd. So, we stopped by because we wanted to support. I think South Gate needs more places like this shop that brings a POP to the city. The location is small, it’s an intimate setting with a beautifully decorated customer area. It’s a treat and honestly the name of this shop had me in a complete ratatouille moment. You feel like you re-live treats from your childhood days. I mean, who doesn’t like milk + cookies. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and drinks. They have an ice cream sandwich and they have a variety of flavors. We tried the horchata ice cream sandwich with oatmeal cookies. HIGHLY recommend both the horchata ice cream and the oatmeal cookies. Their coffee is organic and did not disappoint. We picked up chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies to bring home. We’re definitely returning!

I visited this establishment cause my GF was very interested in it, once we got there the lady behind the counter was very welcoming. Its a chill environment. The reason Im giving it one star is for this. I was gonna ask a simple question about an item while my girlfriend was looking at flavors of coffee and before i could even finish my question the blond lady shunt me down and said actually i rather take her coffee order first cause it takes a while to make coffe -_- like dude i was gonna ask a very simple question about choices. It takes only a few seconds. I was interested in buying but i lost my interest after that. Ive worked customer service for over a decade and you cant just shunt people out for time convenience. And just fyi it took them like 1 minute to get the coffee ready. Im sure this establishment is well but Im definitely not coming back here to support it.

I never knew about this place until a couple of days ago and I told myself that I needed to go. So I went and I don’t regret it. It’s such a cute place and the employees are super friendly. This ice cream shop is just what South Gate needs. The decor makes it so vibrant and attractive to the eye. The handmade ice cream is amazing and beats any Michoacánas in every corner. My favorite is the abuelita chocolate with an oatmeal cookie. The coffee is organic and they have vegan options for the ice cream. The owners and employees are so nice and helpful, they really care about their customers. This is my new favorite spot.

First off I want to say that I was excited to see such a nice looking business opening in Downtown South Gate and owned and operated by South Gate residents that makes it a lot better.I went there tonight with the family to give it a try and it did not disappoint. We each had the ice cream sandwich, each sandwich was different and all 3 tasted just as good as the one before, I know because I tried everyones.I also bought 4 cookies to-go, because they were so good with the ice cream, I ended up eating them a couple of minutes ago as a little late night snack, milk + cookies of course.Milk + Cookies looks good and the food tastes good. They make their own cookies, 3 flavors, oatmeal & raisin, chocolate chip and I believe the last one was vanilla chips with macadamia. They also make their own ice cream, I dont remember all the flavors but I do remember french vanilla, chocolate & horchata.Everyone take your kids there after school, youll love it.

I went a day ago and let me put your mind at ease with the 1 star review. Iced coffee is iced coffee at the end of the day what makes this place amazing is that they use ORGANIC coffee. If you want low quality expensive iced coffee then go to Starbucks. This place oozes of quality. Yes the cookies may be small but they are jam packed with flavor and nothing like I’ve tasted in South Gate. This store’s quality is so good it belongs in Redondo Beach. This place is an amazing instagramable location in this small city. Definitely worth the price especially if you’re going to drive to Downey to pay a similar/ same price at another small cafe. Get a cookie and scoop of ice cream. I’m an LA Foodie and can definitely tell you this is an amazing location. Also this location offers VEGAN ice cream!!!

One of my favorite new places to visit in South Gate! Its so clean and modern inside and the customer service is beyond excellent. I love all the delicious flavors of ice cream (horchata, abuelita chocholate, etc.) and theres even a vegan option which is my favorite even though Im not vegan! And the cookies....ahh...the cookies. Freshly baked, they are a joy to eat and the perfect accompaniment to the ice cream. Try the oatmeal...or the peanut butter...or the chocolate chip! Heck, try them ALL. You wont regret it! And for you coffee lovers, they serve Patria Coffee which is organic, sustainably source and roasted in small batches. Great ice cream, great cookies, great coffee, great ambiance, and great service!I love milk+cookies!
