Baristas are nice service is good but they haven’t had pastry options for a while now and I’ve been coming every few days.

This is a cool Starbucks located within an old building next to the NJ Transit rail. The service is friendly and fairly fast. The location doesn’t get a higher rating because there’s never a place to sit. Many college students inside working on their homework or school related assignments and is frustrating. They go there with a small cup of coffee and the stay for hours. So if you are looking for a Starbucks that you can relax and have a chat, this is not the place.

This is the third time this week this happened!!!!! I’ve been getting the caramel macchiato for years and lately you’ve been ruining my order!!! You gave me hazelnut instead!! And the cup was half empty to add on to messing up order. You guys have new employees every week what the hell is going on?!! This Starbucks location is slowly falling off

I love the SOUTH ORANGE location because of the STAFF. diverse, kind, and good natured. Been coming here for 5 years. They get very busy and I wish they had more ovens for the sandwiches, especially since the mobile ordering increased due to Covid. Besides that I keep coming back to see the friendly staff. Shout-out to Quad, Miriam, Michelle, Sam, Mauri, Eric, and the guy who wears the drum necklace, and the current manager. Keep up the good work!

The only thing good about this visit is they got my order right. I get it that most Starbucks gets busy but if I am a customer and you dont want to make what I ask for then I have a problem with that. I asked for a traveler and 2 additional drinks to bring to the office I had an appointment for. The manager was taking my order and was basically telling me its too busy and they cannot make it and tried to brush me off. I said at this point I am here so Ill wait for it. She gave attitude about it having to do it. I was so upset but kept my composure. If a customer orders something, unless your are completely out of it, you need to make it period.

Terrible service! Ghetto! The staff was nasty and unprofessional. The girl at the register Didn’t even know how to count the money I gave her. They need training In people skills.

This is my favorite Starbucks. There’s a tall young man named Quad that is there almost every morning. Greets me and other customers everyday whether or not I have mobile ordered or not. I can also tell that he’s smiling underneath his mask. The reason I finally decided to leave a review is because just the other morning the barista named Camille asked me about a small detail about my life that I mentioned in passing and I was shocked. The morning crew is so welcoming and has been for years.

For the most part its great. Order what I need via the app and keep it moving. Pre covid it was the place I went multiple times a week to study for hrs at a time. Drinks are usually just fine as ordered.

I was there last week after not going for a long time due to the store not being clean but to my surprise that was not the case this time. I was greeted by Mariam, with a warm hello how are you, and then they proceeded to make me the best drink I have received from any of the Starbucks I have been to.

Eisenhower circle location in Livingston NJ had the best crew who are a friendly crew all shifts. 5 stars

Disappointed 😞 this location No longer sale verisimo pods. Starbucks need to rethink about the products they sale. The verisimo is there machine but yet they never have verisimo pods. I love Starbucks but each year I am becoming more Disappointed.

Maplewood Starbucks is clean inside, spacious and most importantly the staffs is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and greet the customer within minutes with a smiles to the regulars.

Eek! 3 employees, 2 have masks sitting below their noses, none wearing gloves, handling the cups by the rims touching lids on the inside and out. So uncomfortable. Crazy busy though, so I have to respect the drink order was made correctly and everyone was nice.

There’s a supervisor named Egypt. She has such great customer service, she knows the exact drink i want, she makes every visit worthwhile.

Your average Starbucks. Could use a bit more seating for doing work. It’s a huge hotspot for middle schoolers on half days. Sometimes I’ll walk in and almost run into a wall of backpacks. But that shows how good this place is with their quality drinks and fast service and experienced employees who can handle the crowd.

This is one of the best Starbucks that I have ever been to. The staff is incredibly sweet and is really doing they absolute best to help you out always. Today was the red cup day, when you purchased a holiday drink and could get a free reusable holiday cup. I was there at 9:00 am and it was absolute CRAZINESS. They had loads of orders, both in person and mobile, with a mob of people, and they handled everything professionally and politely. I have never had a wrong drink from here, if I ordered something and they did not have it they were always prompt in getting me a replacement. You guys rock, keep doing the great work you’re doing!!! ❤️

I love the service here -- the baristas remember regular customers and know how to feel special. The coffee is always delicious and comes out in a timely manner. I would recommend a caramel frap for newcomers because its sweet, cold, refreshing and wonderful. One other nice thing about this location is that it is nestled within South Orange Village which is charming and has a train stop into NYC right above it. There are also great restaurants and stores nearby.

Whoever make my order didn’t even fill the venti up all the way no where near the top of the cup and to make matters worse it was regular iced coffee not what I ordered

My favorite drink to get here is, mango dragonfruit, guava passionfruit refreshing. Blueberry scones and lemon loaf are delish.

I ordered 2 cake pops and a drink on uber eats and it literally took one hour to get here. and it wasn’t the drivers fault because on the app it said it was making for at least 40 minutes. i’m sorry but why does take so long to make a drink and take 2 cake pops out the shelf ???

Good speedy service! Never had a bad experience at this particular Starbucks. Even when things are busy the staff manage the orders very professionally with no attitude or complaints. If you go to this, or any Starbucks for that matter, you must try a chai tea latte! That drink is def not overrated!

Simply disappointed. I got a blueberry muffin for the first time here and It was good until I got to the middle and there was some sort of small dark brown ball in it. I literally had no idea what it was but I’m a pastry chef so that’s just completely abnormal to see in a simple muffin- so I trashed it. I took a picture @starbucks if you would like to further investigate.

One of the friendliest Starbucks Ive been to. Its very small so the people that work there seem to remember the regular customers leading to a very welcoming vibe.

Regular Starbucks customer in Arizona. Ordered a breakfast sandwich only at this store. I had to ask for it after staff made drinks of at least 5 customers before me. I wonder if I had not asked for it, would I have gotten it. No apologies, either. Next time I visit here not there for Starbucks.

It is 750 and the doors are close, the staff in the store pretend like they dont see customers outside. Unfortunate that they cant honor the store closing time.

Very dirty

This is one of the more cozy Starbucks. I feel like Starbucks in general have some coldness too them, but this one is integrated into the stonewalls of the train stations which is awesome and gives a cool feeling of sitting outside, yet inside in the warmth. The staff is really nice too and I got what i wanted :)

Service was friendly but they completely forgot about my drink order and I never got it. I should’ve said something but I didn’t want to seem inpatient and then I needed to catch my train. 20 minutes after ordering a breakfast sandwich and a chai latte, I got the sandwich and never got the latte. Kinda annoying, waste of $5 :(

The coffee, edibles, and service are as dependable as always; this has always been one of the better Starbucks; I would give this one five stars if those were my only rating criteria. But a recent revamping of the furniture completely destroyed the carefully-crafted illusion that this was a café where you would enjoy hanging out for a while. South Orange still lacks a real classic coffee house.

Do not go to this Starbucks. Horrible service today the people in the cash register are very unprofessional, I was so surprised with their attitude because I never saw it it SO. Someone posted 6 months ago, now J know indeed there are rude people there and pretend to be nice to some.!I am not sure if these people are trained properly. I thought Starbucks has training on how they treat or address their customers equally. I am so disappointed why these people get away from being a server.

The area that you prep your coffee & tea at (sugar, cinnamon, etc) was dirty. No napkins & the little kids that work in there have no social skills.

I Have been going to the Starbucks a while but Had to switch to Maple village because some of the people in South Orange are very rude they talk about the customers they talk about me in front of my face because they did not make my drink right and if I am paying for a drink if we come here mostly every day then it is no reason for me to be treated that way So I just go to either Livingston or Maple village rather travel than to be disrespected

I love this place, great coffee and atmosphere and the staff is awesome and friendly... Ive become a regular. What better way to start your morning or get some quiet time or some study time in than with a cup of grease coffee and friendly staff providing a great customer service experience!

They renovated the place and its m7ch less homely now. It seems like a work and coffee factory. A bunch of computers and coffee cups.the lounge chairs and couch are gone. They were replaced with chairs in a circle that look like an AA meeting setup.

I might be a little biased but this is one of my favorite Starbucks. Friendly, courteous and efficient. They always get my order right and theyve got the best Chai latte for my money.

The South Orange, NJ Starbucks is a place of many purposes, its a restaurant, coffee shop and more.. While the coffee is okay as you have many options and the service is usually fast and efficient. The sandwiches are a little over priced to me but in a pinch they do okay. I also love because it has great WIFI and the place is very conducive to being the office away from home. So what more could you want a home office away from home and plenty of coffee to keep one awake.

Starbucks is always the same everywhere in the world. If youve ever eaten in one you know what to expect. Its pricey for coffee but consistent.

This Starbucks is busy and sort of small, but the employees are nice and most of them smile effortlessly, which is saying a lot because some employees at other establishments dont think thats apart of Their job.... I will say that the service can be slow, and everyone doesnt seem knowledgeable about the menu!

I ordered a green tea latte. I told the barista that I would step away to the ladies Room as he prepared my beverage. The wait for the ladies Room was probably about 10 minutes. When I finally did get inside the ladies Room, it wasnt very clean. Then when I came out to retrieve my drink, it was the wrong order. He gave me a hot green tea, not a green tea latte.

Beautiful people pass through here BUT! change the trash, clean the tables, wipe windows, pick up those wrappers stashed and newspapers staff come on. I know people come through especially with a train stop there and crews of teens but have someone specifically around to keep it CLEAN in the corners, under tables, stash spots by windows.

Coffee is tylical Starbucks. Lattes are decent but I prefer Cait and Abby coffee next door. Besides, their bakery products are much better.If you are a Starbucks enthusiast, this one does not represent on the best of Starbucks, but its okay and the store is clean.
