The employees went above and beyond what they had to do. I was impressed and left a message to give her a raise. We were treated with respect and had no problems dealing with our particular situation.

Love their products, but disappointed in the customer service. I showed up at 6:55pm not realizing that they close at 7pm and was turned away by an associate. First, they technically weren’t closed at that point. Second, I was only looking for one item and probably would have been out of there on time maybe a couple minutes after closing.I’ve worked the closing shift in retail, I understand that the person that comes in at closing is not the favorite, but we NEVER turned a customer away prior to closing.

Low on pillows, couldnt find what I needed

Woman (Samantha) in charge of the store while I was asking a question just ignored me and just kept on walking away from me. Store is located on Running Hill Road in South Portland Maine. I felt she was ignoring me on purpose therefore Im not going to shop there anymore. That is extremely poor customer service. Let her know that is not acceptable and I will let my co- workers not to go there in case Samanthas response to customers is unacceptable behavior!!

Wow .. closed at SEVEN PM. Cant even begin to understand the logic in that. Unless its managements way of using the Virus to clamp down on labor costs. Apparently the Virus cant get you if you shop before SEVEN PM. Good thinking BB&B.

They had what we wanted at an acceptable price.

Awesome store filled with all sorts of things you did and did not know you even needed. Lots of high end brand names and great selections of various household items from varying degrees of the spectrum of quality. In the past I came here looking for a particular pan. When I discovered there were not any in stock they ordered it right then and there and had it shipped to me free of charge.

Clerks were not helpful...no coupons available..you go to the NH store and they always give you coupons

Purchased a WINIX air filter for about $200.00. It worked for a couple of months, and now makes a loud rattling noise whenever I turn it on. Employees told me that I need a receipt and it has to be within 60 days of purchase to get a refund. This product does not work as intended and is essentially useless, as operating the device makes loud persistent unpleasant noises. The manufacturer scores even lower, as WINIX does not even have customer support whatsoever. At lease bed bath and beyond picked up the phone, even if they told me to go pound sand. Now I had a $200.00 paper weight. Needless to say this will be my last WINIX / bed bath and beyond purchase.

Good customer services, clean store. My only piece of constructive criticism would be to not point to an area and say, its over there when a customer is looking for something specific. Just take the time to walk them.over to what they need.

Not very impressed with this place. They always advertise 20% off if you sign up for email. But when you do you find out that thats only good for a few things that you cant even find in the store because it doesnt count towards anything name brand. Look at the coupons and it will show you over a thousand brand names that are not good towards the 20% off. The only thing this place is good for is the hard to find things.

Went to get a pillow and wondered around. Many things for your bed and bathrooms. Also for the kitchen and other rooms. Very good quality for less than you think price wise. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out. Some really good deals here.

I love this store, however,the mailing process is very odd. I ordered 2 sets of shower curtain hooks, a shower curtain and a rod. I received them all individually within a 2 week period. It does not seem like the most efficient shipping process. Receiving the shower hooks a week before the rod, and then days later the shower curtain does not help me anyway. I could have gotten them all at the same time and been fine with it as well as saved some boxes. I so love the products though!

Bed Bath & Beyond is not as it used to be. They had great products and staff that could help answer questions. Unfortunately now they have very few staff and they don’t know to much about the products they sell. I had to go in recently looking for a particular item and they don’t sell it in the store and only online. It is almost like the company doesn’t care anymore.

Didnt find what I wanted, but not their fault. You cant have everything. I wanted plain white Corelle plates. Nobody had them. I ordered them online. They have great varieties of everything.

Always a fun place to spend more than I planned! I find their clearance section to be unavoidable... got an amazing deal on an AllClad pot to add to my collection.

We went for college stuff and there were some pretty nice deals. We found a nice weighted blanket for under $100, twin XL sheet set for about $10 etc. It was nice to see so many choices of items in the cheaper range for college kids who buy for themselves.

Went into South Portland and had to wait in line while the only cashier Ben, decided to talk with friends. For 10minutes Poor customer service

I have been a patron of Bed Bath & Beyond throughout the country. The South Portland in Maine store is normally well run store with very friendly and helpful services from top to bottom. But you know how a bad applie can ruin a whole bushel. The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. There is this guy Daniel in his mid thirty with facial hairs that is downright horrible. He is conscending bordering on rude, not exactly what one expects shopping in supposedly a classy store like BBB. They must be paying them minimum wages to field such low quality customer service.

We were told we could get cash back, and we were actually encouraged to get gift cards to third party stores when we had found everything else we needed.Bed Bath and Beyond is known for its customer service (and we were very happy with it) but after the most recent turn of events, we are left with a feeling of disappointment with the service and misleading information at this specific location.
