I had an incredible experience here. The owner, Luis, installed my stereo in record time (for a very affordable price!) and even arranged/paid for a fix to my vehicle after another customer of his damaged it. I sincerely cannot think of a more honest and dedicated man in the car business. Ill be back!

I thought I would try out this local shop. Huge mistake. They added a sub and wiring to my Jeep JK and the work was horrible. They had the motherboard wrapped in electrical tape and jammed up in the dash. The wiring was just taped together. There was also a wire that the cut a slat in the fuse box and just took out a fuse and shoved the wire under the fuse. I have never seen so many zip ties and horrible wiring. My recommendation, spend the few extra dollars and go to California audio or somewhere where they provide quality work.

He put a new stereo in my wifes 2014 focus on very short notice. Seemed professional. Very reasonable, and it has been perfect no problems at all.. Im going to try and take my 87 samurai to him for a new system with Bluetooth .

These guys are really REALLY good with their work. They managed to hook my stereo up in like 30 mins and they charge a very reasonable fee for their work. These guys know what they are doing and they are good at it, would definitely recommend getting your stereo installed here.

What can I say. I’m new to Utah and this place was the first place I came across and let me tell you I don’t regret it one bit. The workers where super busy but still took the time to help me out. I just had some question with an installation I was doing myself and they where so helpful. They stopped what they where doing to just to show me what I was missing. I’ve never had such great service anywhere like this. If I could give it more stars I would. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped by at near closing time on a Friday night asking them to look at a stereo that was not working on a recently purchased used car. They were quickly able to confirm that the stereo had or was going out. They had a decent selection of used stereos there, presumably from people upgrading, that would work great for this basic commuter car.It was now VERY near closing time, but they were totally willing to stay and complete the installation right then while I waited. Not sure if they do this for everyone, but they did for me with no questions asked, as a first time walk in customer.Working stereo with very reasonable rates for the unit and install. Awesome place. Luis (the owner himself) replaced my deck and deck insert for me in a little under 15 min. Very fair prices, great customer service, he then helped me pair my phone on the spot. 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone who needs car audio work done.

I recently bought a new DIY stereo system for my Toyota Corolla and tried installing it myself but when I would plug it in it would not work. I called several places and mechanics and car stereo shops nearby and they all refused to help me. Finally I called this place and they said that they would happily help me out. I went here and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and before you know it my stereo was in my car working!

This place is the shizz. Told him what was I looking for and got more then I expected. Prices are way better here then anywhere. I highly recommend to come here if your looking for an honest shop that aint trying to up sell a stero. Customer service is excellent.

I’ve come into the stereo shop a few times. And hands-down this car audio shop is the best and most affordable place I have ever done business with. The owner of the shop is more than happy to help me out with my sudden walk in appointments, and crazy questions about car audio equipment. Every time I go in there he’s been super friendly and helpful and if it’s not the owner it is one of his helpful employees. They get the job done. And they don’t charge you a ton. I would recommend this place to any car audio enthusiast or just flat out you can’t hook it up yourself type. If I could give six stars I would.

Came here today for a install first thing when they opened. I believe it was Luis (the owner?) who I dealt with. Really fast install (under an hour for a sub and amp) and everything was done very cleanly. Ended up coming here after another shop tried to charge me over twice what they wanted.Really happy with the install and highly recommend this shop.EDIT: Came here a second time to get a head unit installed on a Subaru WRX and Luis did a great job on a hard install. AWESOME! I pulled up in my old work truck and all I wanted was a very basic radio with bluetooth. The technician jumped right on it and I was out in 45 minutes. Super nice staff.Super friendly and NO attempt to upsell which is ALWAYS the case at any other audio businesses. They treated me as if I was spending $5000 but I spent $130. Could not be happier.

These guys really know what theyre doing and I would recommend Luis work to anyone, regardless of their knowledge of car audio. Ive been a customer of Luis for a couple years and he recently worked on my Scion tC. He was very honest and easy to work with, letting me know exactly what needed to be done to make my system sound exactly how I wanted. He had to custom fit my speakers and kept the install price cheap even though it took the two of them all day.I came back after a week or so because there was a whine coming from the head unit due to the sheer power running through the system. Luis fixed the problem immediately and had me on my way within ten minutes.You really wont find a place like Hook Up Your System anywhere else in the valley. I took my Ford F-250 to Luis to have a complete system installed. These trucks are very technical with the Ford Sync system and they require a special harness to maintain the vehicles function. Luis was very knowledgeable and was great at communicating and keeping me informed on my vehicles status. I visited quite a few different shops around Slc and Luis Was the clear cut best choice. You can’t beat the quality of work at a very reasonable price anywhere else in Slc. I’ll be having this shop install a full system in my Lincoln SUV in the very near future. It didnt take 5 minutes for me to explain what I wanted, and it took him less then 45 minutes to do my install (and finish the install for the customer in front of me.)Supposedly, this would be an easy install. I thought my new truck had everything wired for an amp and woofer, but I was mistaken. Fuses needed switched, and amp cables were ran... but never connected. With a smile on his face Luis just kept working, and made it happen. It was easy to tell he knew what he was doing, and the install was excellent.Super happy customer, and next time Im in town - I may have to see what other toys I can get installed!

Showed up Monday afternoon the 8th. Asking him how much would it be to hook up my JVC stereo two subwoofers and amp. 210.00 Hummers are more complicated and they just cost more. He needed another $45 to hook up the speakers and another $10 to put a plate on my stereo system. Showed up there times something different every time.Today is 5-21-20. He still trying to make it look like it was my fault.

Luis definitely does a better job than Best Buy. Best Buy hooked up my wires incorrectly, put on the wrong screws, and my speakers blew out within 3 months of them installing it. After reading the reviews I decided to go check these guys out. Im so glad did! They saved me over $100 from a previous quote I receive from a large chain store. They got me right in, swapped out my stereo and I was out of there in just under an hour. He took the time to show me how to connect my phone to the new stereo any use many of the available features. These guys are the best. I’ll never go anywhere else for a car stereo. They did a great job installing my system and when my old car DVD player died, causing a short in my car’s wiring and my new system to not work, they fixed it no charge (and I offered) — even though it was not at all their issue.

Luis is great! He had installed a system for me about a year ago. Its been great. Tried upgrading the 10 I had to a 12. One i had purchased from Facebook marketplace. It was smelling funny so i took it to him. The previous owner had wired it down to 1 ohm which i didnt know. Luis spotted the issue like the peo he is and fixed it no cost. I will always bring my business to him.

I will never go anywhere else! Luis and Carlos totally hooked me up, and they we super-cool about it. I bought two 12 subs and an amp from a friend. They came out of his car after an accident, so I had no install kit, or directions. That was no problem at all for these guys. They had everything I needed, including the volume knob that I feared would be expensive and hard to find.The installation was a little tricky, and I was relieved that I decided to bring it to a professional, instead of doing it myself. Carlos did in an hour and a half, what wouldve taken me all day.The system sounds great, and works exactly as it should. I was able to casually hang out and watch as they installed it, so I know it was done right.I felt like it was an exceptional value, and I will be back for my next upgrade!
