Been coming here for audio for years. Outfitted all my vehicles and even a boat buying from Sound Warehouse. Its always been hit or miss on customer service, sometimes they are over the top helpful. Will go out of the way to make things work, if they dont have it, they will find something that will work. Willing to teach, answer questions, want to sell the product and are knowledgeable.And for the other end of the spectrum. Sometimes they are no help and really just unwilling. Dont want to answer questions, dont really seem like they want your money at all. The reason I chose a place like this is because I want them to sell me a product that works. If I wanted to stare at a wall of components and not get real assistance, I would save the money and just buy online.Its a shame because they have a few guys that usually do go out of their way for the customer. Just too inconsistent.
Sound kicks hard as promised! Very straightforward service, not pushy in any way and very reasonable. I came in to set up a time for an installation and turned out there was a unfortunate situation where another person had been in a car accident but they were able to help me same day! Everything was installed ideally how I prefer it to be! I wouldnt have had time to install this equipment on my own and I probably would have found a way to mess it up on my own! Thank you guys! You guys are great at what you do! I will tell everybody I know! My Jeep rocks hard now!
Called in this past Saturday and spoke to Mike, went in and talked with Mike. Good guy and knowledgeable ended up purchasing two stereos from him that day and Mike was able to get the install done promptly and quickly. Absolutely excellent service, ask for Mike, he helped me and did an excellent job and got me exactly what I needed for my truck and I was 100% satisfied and they had it done for me in one day! They have a great selection and know what they are doing and their installers are the best! Props to Mike, I dont know if you remember me but you put an alarm with remote start and the two 10 subs that thump like crazy in my 2003 Red Chevy 2500HD 4 door short bed with the Durumax Diesel Engine in it and I couldnt be happier with the job you did! Great place to get a aftermarket alarm system installed, had them do one on my truck, got it done in a day, and they left my truck as clean as it could be, and the wires tucked up away nicely. I did have a strange issue a few weeks later but they got me right in a resolved it for me. I would definitely recommend.
Where great even had the call installer back because of small programming issue, they did this after they had to wait for me do to UBER driver not showing and had new driver assigned. Great job guys you are definitely my sound and alarm system specialist s for life. See you on my next vehicle.
I had a great experience with Sound Warehouse. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Bruce in the installations department was amazing! I had a question about the harnesses and he took the time from the job he was working on to explain everything and help us through it. He took a few minutes to take care of a customer and saved us hours of time! I was very impressed and will definitely go back.

A few years ago I went in to have a deck insulated, they broke the clips for the dash panel and instead of trying to fix it told me to go to a junk yard to buy some. I went in again recently to give them another chance and ask and the guy was incredible rude and dismissive. Donβt waste your time going here. Spend your money where it will be valued.

Dan is the man! I own a 2008 Tacoma and after debating whether I should sell it or drive it into the ground I opted to keep it but upgrade it. Dan has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Sound Warehouse has a great selection. The staff there are the very professional...I opted to install my own speakers and they were very supportive and helped me solve some problems I had with my design. The install of my gear (including the amp and sub) was of the highest quality. When my new backup cam fogged, Dan scheduled my straight away for a replacement. Easy. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are a perfectionist like I am!

I got a stereo system for my 2001 Buick here about a year ago and it has been working great so far. When I first got it my excited self blew the speakers on the first day and they fixed it no cost. About a month later the stereo slipped out of place a little and was rattling very annoyingly but I brought it back and they placed it in correctly. About a month ago my stereo was having some problems but I know these guys have my back and they fixed it. The service is a little pricey but the customer service is worth it.
Great knowledge of what they talk about but as for the install they kept they wired that were installed yb the previous owner of my vehicle that were obviously inadequate for the speakers as well as left the connections on the top of the Amp in such a way that the seat broke them a few times and I had to reattach them myself.. Very fine work putting the speakers into my door cards though. They had to make custom build outs from the door to fit them and they look amazing. Since then I have also bought a subwoofer from them that sounds great. Also very easy to work with on warranty. Overall even with the minor screw ups I would highly recommend them and will probably be returning soon for a new custom sub enclosure!
Ive been a customer here for over 10yrs and I always get treated really great
I had them install a car alarm and put door actuators on. Within a month one stopped working and they fixed it. After a short amount of time it is malfunctioning and now none of them work and I have to lock them by key.
Daniel at the front desk really helped me out picking new speakers and a deck for my boyfriends truck! Great costumer service and great pricing! Definitely coming here again when I need more upgrades!

Had my speakers finally go out on my motorcycle recently. I donβt know a ton about speakers but I looked up the specs on the head unit I had and the one I was going to buy and they got me set up with a solid set of new speakers. They even let me use some tools to tweak the connectors on the bike that had deformed a bit. Good experience, great guys working there. Iβll definitely come back when I do some more audio upgrades.

Went to 2 different Best Buyβs and they couldnβt help me with what I needed and they said it was too complicated and they wouldnβt be able to install my car amp till the next 2 months. Place is no help, I have always sent customers here but this was my first time coming in! I went in to ask about a bluetooth problem in my car, I was willing to buy a brand new stereo if I had to! Immediately was told by Daniel he couldnβt do anything lol didnβt look like he was interested in my business. I guess my money was not good enough. Sits behind a desk with a βI donβt want to be hereβ sour/hating attitude and look on his face. I work in the dealership business (BIG CHAIN) in the area and we have sent people there for years! There goes there referral business from us! Employees like this really hurt small business owners. We send ALL our customers there and they just lost that because of this. Customers are what get us paid! People need to realize without them we donβt get a pay check! Hey Daniel read Raving Fans man, great book and I think you can learn something from it. Everyone has bad days but itβs not your customers fault.
Dan and Mike were awesome. I went in not knowing a whole lot but just knowing I wanted good sound. They already had packages in mind tailored to the kind of music I like. Great people and great experience and definitely recommend to anyone needing good sounds for fair price!

Was not impressed, I understand that sometimes things do not go perfectly but when I went in to talk to them about it I was dismissed. The face of the deck was scratched and instead of offering to make it right he decided to just say that they would take it all out. [In a week) I am okay with this now. Found somewhere else that is less expensive and just done my other truck and done as awesome job.
Went in today to have the Factory head unit in my 2009 Honda Fit replaced with a mid-tier Pioneer unit (model AVH-2550NEX) . The Sales associate was quite helpful in answering my questions about the different units available with the features I was looking for. The installation process was quick (about an hour and a half). The installer was friendly and worked with me to set up the unit to my preferences. The installation looks great and everything works as it should. All of this would be enough to deserve the shop a 5-star rating from me, but one other thing happened with the installation process that I didnt notice until I got home that makes this place incredibly recommendable.I had accidentally left a large portion of cash in the cars glove box, a less trust worthy shop might have taken a portion or all of it. I would have been non the wiser till days or weeks went on and probably wouldnt have associated the loss with the shop.I would recommend this shop to anyone in the valley looking for any audio work done in their vehicles. I cant thank them enough for their service and trustworthiness.
The people there are great to work with they are very friendly and willing to help. I purchased a Rockford amplifier a month ago and it started to have issues I came in and they switched it out no hassle and no issues with them getting this fixed. Will definitely recommend to anyone and will be my only come to store for my vehicles audio needs.

Its a shame that you have to give a star to give a review because I wouldnt even be giving them that if I didnt have to! They put in a subwoofer in my car and a dial on the inside to adjust my bass about 2 years ago. Not long after my car battery kept dying. I had to have my dealership replace my battery 2 times. I just took it to DC Customs in Bountiful and come to find out it was the way sound warehouse wired it to my battery. I called sound warehouse and they said thats just the way they do it and didnt even care. Nice guys huh! But thanks to DC Customs, my car has a new battery (the third one in 2 years) and they wired it the correct way! Thank you DC Customs for fixing the problem sound warehouse created! I will be recommending everyone I know to go to you!
This is the best audio store I have ever been too. They installed a radio head unit, speakers, and a sub. Can not see any wires anywhere!I also got an aftermarket remote start. That works amazing. (They installed that too)
Bought my nephew a car who just got his drivers license. Took him over to Sound Warehouse... and Danny Ramirez took really good care of us. He told us about some of the great sales by their vendors... And got my nephews car hooked up with a brand new sound system that he is loving. Danny and Sound Warehouse are the best!

I really appreciate so much the effort Sound Warehouse did to make me feel like a valued customer again. I never was upset over not being able to get my car in the same day. I was only frustrated with how I was treated that day. But I fully accepted Todds apology and will continue to be a loyal customer of Sound Warehouse. Thanks again you guys! Im still in shock with the level of customer service you showed me to make things right.I went in yesterday (7/1) because my tail lights on my car were not turning on and I had gotten a new dash screen and back up camera installed in December 2018 by them. I had troubleshooted that it was a wire that was touching the ground behind the radio that was causing the fuse to blow every time I tried replacing it to get my tail light to work. I explained the problem to the guy and asked if they would look at it. He immediately argued with me saying that there was no way the dash install was causing issues with my taillight. I had spent over 500 dollars at this place and I would have thought I would be treated a little better, but I guess customer service was forgotten when I came to visit. The guy was completely disinterested on helping me since I was not buying anything but he did finally agree to have them look at it a couple days later. I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated and on the freaking receipt they even state there is a lifetime warranty on the work they do. Well I took my car into a shop that same day, and guess what? The idiots forgot to cap the wires that they had spliced for my radio. A hundred dollars later and Iβm extremely irritated with Sound Warehouse for their shoddy work and horrible customer service. I really strive to support local business but when Iβm treated like I am inconvenience because Iβm pointing out something isnβt working correctly that was due to their install. It really discourages me from spending any more money with that business, and I definitely will never step foot in Sound Warehouse ever again.

Ive had two cars done here. The first one just needed a new stereo with an aux port (it was an older car). I loved their work so when I got a new car I went there again. The second one needed to have the speakers replaced and I wanted a new touchscreen/bluetooth stereo along with a subwoofer. What I absolutely loved about this place was their customer service and how they first ask you what your budget is. Based on your budget, they choose the best products to fit your needs. Theyre honest people and do some amazing work! I never had had any problems with anything I bought here. Now I love getting into my car and listening to my music. I highly recommend these guys. I will definitely be a long term customer.
Sound warehouse is awesome. I hadnt been there for years, but what a great place to get any type of audio equipment. First of all their selection is robust, many choices. The salespeople, especially Mike, are knowledgeable and quickly figured out what solution was best for me. I have a Subaru, which required a special install kit, otherwise they would have put in my radio on the spot. When I showed up for my installation appointment, they told me an hour, I waited in their tidy waiting room (has WiFi), it wasnt even 45 minutes. Then Mike took some time to pair my phone and explain how the unit worked. It works great, excellent sound. The price was much less than I had anticipated. All in all, a wonderful experience and now I have hands free in my car! Go to Sound Warehouse for your audio needs. You will not be disappointed.

I am very happy with the system I got. Waiting time for installation was not very bad at all. I wasnt very happy with the instructions I received . Seemed like once they got your money and the system was in your car the rest was up to you. would have been nice if they would have walked you out and showed you how the stereo worked. But, fair price. Charged extra for brackets, you would think system came with or they would warn you before installation. That kind of stuff can really affect someones budget. But overall Im still happy.

I came to Mike to have a sub installed and some tweeters put in our doors. After the install was done there was some problems with my drivers side window, which I attributed to the install and let Mike know right away. I live 2 hours away, so it was a couple of weeks before I could get back to the shop. They assured me that nothing they did could have affected the window, but I didnt buy it and pushed further. Mike finally agreed to take it apart to make me happy and found a frayed window cable, which was 100% NOT there fault. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to correct and fix the problem, all without charging me any labor beyond the initial fee. I HIGHLY recommend Mike Wellington and the Sound Wharehouse SLC team. I will not go anywhere else for my audio needs, even though it is 2 hours out of the way.Thank you Mike W.

I recently took my car into sound warehouse, met Bruce he was very helpful with my needs.I was looking into getting a alarm cause my power door locks doesnβt work sometimes, so we did a keyless entry and remote start. He took his time rewiring the madness mess and he some odd reason for my door locks to work without charge. I would highly recommend him to other.

They gave me some good advice about speakers I needed saving me money.
I got a subwoofer put in and also had them wore my speakers in through the amp. I later after having the system installed noticed that when I pulled down the arm rest in the back seat them put a hole in the plastic when securing the amp to the back of the seat. I think they could have found a better safer way of doing it. I then not even having the system two months started having the back speakers cut out on me now three months down the road they dont even work. I would not recommend these guys to anyone Id rather take the time and do it myself than pay someone to chop my vehicle apart.
Update: They were able to get my system working after rewiring the stereo and doing a factory Amp bypass, everything is working fine now, the team stepped up to get this right, thanks for you helpNot a good experience so far, got some equipment and installation done, right from the start I got some alternator noise and also the stereo keeps cycling on/off, I was told by the tech that the reason was that I needed a new battery so I got it replaced and guess what that didnt fix it, now I have to take time off work so I can have the check in to this

This place installed a remote start and alarm on my car. Everything worked great and then randomly my remote start wouldnt work so i took the car in and they fixed it. Then shortly after it again stopped powering the car off if i stepped on the brake like it was supposed to as a safety switch so i went back. I ended up talking to Mike Wellington and it was as if i was the one inconveniencing him and his shop. After like 2hrs of trying to fix whatever the issue was he ended up telling me that the brain was bad and that unfortunately they couldnt fix it. Dont worry though he was quick to offer me a deal by knocking off $100-$150 off a new alarm remote start system. Why the hell would i buy another unit just to have it fail on me again? These guys seem to care about getting you to buy their product but dont expect much help when/if you have issues, that is something they dont really want to spend any time diagnosing. I get it, they arent making money on that so i will never support their business again. To this day the remote start isnt working correctly but after dealing with Sound warehouse several times i honestly fear that they would do something to my alarm or car that its not worth going back there again. Their customer service blows.

Bought a pair of subs for my Audi A4 and there were no videos on YouTube that showed me what to do. I walked into the shop and started talking to Bruce. Bruce is a legend at what he does, got us out of the shop in 12 min with the subs installed. I highly recommend seeing Bruce when you come into the sound wearhouse!
Great place with good deals. Have had my truck in several times. Would have gotten 5 stars, but when I went to warranty out a sub in the dual sub box, they wouldnt, because they couldnt find me in their computer... Even with my receipt... They installed the subs and amp behind the rear seat, and didnt trim enough space so the seat was resting against the sub causing it to blow

I wont go anywhere else for custom installation or piece of mind. Im super happy with his work, definitely recommended. Ask for him when you get there you wont be disappointed!
I recently had a new stereo, amps etc. installed in my corvette. They were awesome! Iβm so pleased with their work, Iβm going to have them do another project for me.
Unfortunately, I did not have good experiences here. My system had issues with both audio sound quality and volume when making a call through my car. After multiple proper installations, returning multiple times to have them review the issue, I decided to go to the Ogden store. In 45 minutes, they had calibrated my settings, increased the call volume, and it sounded amazing. Im very disappointed by the Salt Lake store - go to another store instead.
