We chose Starving Students for my grandmother’s recent move across the state of California to come live with me. They contracted out to another company called BLVD Moving and we had one of the worst experiences of my life with them. The staff at Starving Students was sympathetic initially and said the behavior of the other company did not reflect their values but then did nothing to help us. Before using them be aware that they will send you to other companies for your move and take no responsibility for the actions of that company. Truly disappointed.

LIES>>> DECEPTIONThis was the worst service I have ever experienced in my 28 years moving as an adult. This company has the audacity to make a 1:00 appointment time and not call to tell me they were running late, but took a job ahead of mine and then told me they would be late. I was very patient and said no problem the mover Niem or Ni Lie stated that they would be finished and completing the job at 2:p. I called at 3:00 and was reassured they were delivering the furniture and would be on their way. Patiently awaiting...Starving Students...give them a break. I call back at 4:30, no answer; call the company, will call the driver; 5:30 overly upset with the poor service, but I still need my things moved, so I asked should I try to find someone else, He states,No we will work late to get the job done. At 6:30 I called for the last time and they told me they were on their way to my home. At 7:15p they call to ask if the next day would be alright? Who are these people...We scheduled our move way in advance.This company took advantage of our good nature and tried, NO exhausted our patience so now at 7:30 at night we have to find someone else for a next morning move. What will that bill look like? This again was the worst experience in history of moving. I never write reviews, but I always appreciate others comments before trying a service or making a purchase. This time I am definitely returning the favor...STAY AWAY FROM THIS WRETCHED, RATCHET, LESS THAN POOR SERVICE PROVIDING SO CALLED COMPANY!!!!!
