My favorite little bookshop. They always have a great selection on hand and I love looking at the staff recommendations for good reads. The staff are also great at suggestions if you are looking for a certain genre or gift for someone. Great selection of childrens books as well. Very knowledgeable staff. So many different books to choose from... each section felt like its own world. I also attended an author event they put together on zoom! Its in a quaint location, too. Grab some crepes at Betsys Crepes then wander for hours!

This bookstore has a great selection and very friendly staff. I was looking for the book King of the Mississippi and was pleasantly surprised to find it at The Country Bookshop. A friend of mine told me the author use to live in the area. After inquiring about it, the staff showed me it was displayed up front, so I grabbed a copy.

Visited this cute bookshop today while visiting Southern Pines for a weekend getaway for my birthday. The gentlemen working were friendly and polite. But what I loved most was that the staff wrote their own thoughts, opinions, reviews, of different books on post it notes. Walked out with 6 books because their thought provoking sticky notes made it impossible to resist diving into the stories and feel the way reading those little notes made me feel for even a moment. I live for a good book, but I love a good bookstore even more.

This place! This is my daughters second home. She is forever wanting to come here and get a new book. I love the fact that if they dont have a book that they can order it for you. All you have to do is come by and pick it up. And its pretty quick as well. Everyone is very knowledgeable on their authors and sweet as well. I like that they host events where you can meet certain authors. This is such a wonderful place!

First time visitor to Southern Pines. Randomly walked down Broad Street and into this wonderful bookstore. Bought several books and fun greeting cards for family and friends. Nice selection of merchandise!

Love supporting a local business. Especially since this one does alot for our community. They bring authors, they do reading outreach for local students. Only downside is with a local bookstore, inventory is low. But they do keep a great variety to choose from.

I was looking for some used books. This isnt the place. Beautiful store with all the current titles neatly arranged and sold at full price. Lots of neat gifts available. Cute kids section.

I really like the country bookshop! They have close to every book you could ever want and plenty of local products. The staff is rather kind but sometimes will ignore customers. If you are looking for great books and a calm environment, come to the Country Book Shop.

Literally my favorite bookstore ever. Employees are knowledgeable and always ready with recommendations, there are great deals on books that are employee picks, and there is a good collection of books with a constantly updated inventory. They also sell knick-knacks and will order a book for you if they don’t have it in stock!
