It was all right, seemed a little pricey two coffees and two Donuts $16. And that was for medium-sized coffees. Nothing fancy just regular coffee and some glazed pumpkin Donuts. Now the donuts were fresh and delicious oh, thank God for that kind of money.

First time coming upon this wonderful donut shop. Never expected to see vegan options here, but was pleasantly surprised to see 3 vegan donuts!!! Tried the Vegan Lemon Meringue and was completely blown away by how UNDRY, UNDENSE, and delicious the flavors were. The price speaks to the quality of Donut Bar’s products. Not to mention, the staff were welcoming and helpful in their recommendations. They even gifted me a free donut to try. The coffee was also on-point! Although I’m from the Flint area, I will definitely be returning for more.

Their donuts are bigger and the variants are well thought off. Everytime I go there thinking I ll just have the glazed but end up buying almost all of the donuts on display. I sometimes feel they are pricey until i take a bite but once i taste its all worth it. Special mention to the ever smiling people who are ready to recommend and describe everything you ask.

A very sweet and rare treat! I tried the fruity pebbles one and my husband had the caramel one. I package the others away to try another day. They were fresh, soft, and as I said very sweet. This is something that you definitely want to have once-in-a-blue-moon when you have a serious sweet tooth.The vanilla latte I had was excellent. Not too sweet. The only thing I wish is that it were served a little hotter. I had to pop it in the microwave when I got home to heat it up.

As always: exceptional, friendly customer service! Happy to see they are still swimming through these times and that there was a good selection available this mid morning!I always stop in when Im in town!!!

Overpriced Decorative Donuts with Underwhelming TasteI am was a long time customer of Sunrise Donuts. They permanently closed May 1st, so I no longer have a local donut spot. :(I decided to try Donut Bar + Coffee. The staff was friendly. Service was quick and easy. Five donuts were $18, but I didnt mind spending it if the donuts were really good. I took them home and was met with so much disappointment when I took a bite. Imagine some plain grocery store bought donuts with decorative topping. In all honesty Ive had better donuts at 7-11. They were a bit dry. Nothing special. If you need breakfast cereal or Oreos on your donut, you are better off buying a Dunkin Donut, add frosting, and press cereal or crushed cookies on it yourself. It will taste better than these.

Update: Never fails to disappoint! Delicious options everyday!The chocolate dipped is delicious, not too sweet at all in my opinion! The coffee is good, but forewarned - kind of sweet! We even got a free donut for spending over $20 I believe (4 donuts, 2 lattes - kind of pricey but definitely seems worth it to me). They seem to be pretty well known for vegan options too which is very cool. Try them! We also got fruity pebbles, raspberry cream cheese(top left photo), and raspberry delight (bottom right photo).

Fairly small and quaint place. The donuts i got were good, but a bit pricy. A little bottle of Coke Cola was at least 2.50.Small selection, with rotating selection of two of roughly 6 selections. They also offer coffee and espresso. I dont drink them, but figured Id mention it.Staff is friendly and helpful.Average score is mostly for the pricing. Not a bad place otherwise.

The flavors were really good. We tried four different kinds. The donut its self could have been a little sweeter for me. The toppings were really good and unique. We flavors we got were fruity pebbles, vanilla bean glazed, chocolate, and coconut. They were fresh and soft. We found out that they change their selection often. We are looking forward to see what they have next time we go. The service was very respectful and described the donuts in detail.

Donuts were a little dry and not filled enough, the small amount of custard came out of the bottom of both boston cremes. They were also out of ingredients to make the sandwich which was why I came. That being said, they were very beautiful, the little bit of filling they did have was delicious, the people were very nice, and the hot apple cider was really good.

Incredible doughnuts (choose wisely). the coffee was mediocre but that should not turn you away because most people come here for the doughnuts.

Love this place! On the more expensive side, but it’s worth it. Staff are always super nice!The paczkis this year were INSANE!!My only issue is that when we buy filled donuts, like Boston cream or today the cookie butter they barely ever have any filling. I got 3/4 of the way through before I hit any of the filling, and my partner had the same experience with his.We have even had some in the past with none in them. I love this place so I try not to complain, it’s just disappointing.The donuts overall are delicious, I just wish they were filled more, Or maybe from both sides. I never have any where the filling has reached the middle.Still!! The best donut place in the area!!

This is the best and finest place you can get donuts at, they have Gluten free and vegan free. And their donuts and the best. I would recommend going there.

Delicious donuts in flavors you wont find at your standard bakery, even vegan ones! I was surprised just how soft and scrumptious the vegan ones were!! If you see their food truck or can get to the shop its worth checking out.

Very good place to go. Was not busy when I was there and even though there were like 15 flavors to choose from, it was still tough. I enjoyed that it was not overly sweet and that I didnt get sick after a few bites. My favorite is the creme brulee. It is a bit of a drive for me to get there (about 30-35 minutes) and I would say it is worth the drive for me

One of the best Turkey burgers I have ever eaten! The avocado on this tops it off! Sat out side it was great! Had beautifully cooked Sweet Potatoe fries! Not burnt and very large! They where delicious! And to top it off for dessert I had a Hummer! To die for! Easy to find right on Michigan Ave by The Old Train Station..Great Service great food & Atmosphere is refreshing! All kinds of burgers..but my favorite is that Turkey Burger! Got to stop by! Youll love it!

“Donut Bar + Bar” would lead one to believe that this shop would focus as heavily on their coffee as they do their donuts. Sadly, this is definitely not the case. The beans they source are from Illy, which is an overpriced Folgers’ dark roast. The black coffee is made and stored in a percolator.I wish for a shop that considers itself to be donuts and coffee the coffee would have as much attention to detail as the donuts do.The donuts are great and the staff greets customers upon entering the store. The atmosphere is clean and I would definitely recommend.

Tres Leche donuts are my favorite (available every weekend) -- not too sweet & tastes like they make their own whipped cream. The regular glazed (believe the flavor is vanilla bean) are also perfectly balanced. The staff is has been nice each time I went. Im a fan of this place for sure! The only downside is that they close at 3pm during the week so I can only make it on the weekends.

We served Donut Bar donuts at our wedding in addition to a small wedding cake and the donuts were an absolute hit! We emailed to inquire about a large order and they catering info they had was so helpful and it had descriptions of the donut size and of all the flavors available. The pricing was clear and easy to navigate. We selected 10 different flavors of the $2 variety and were so happy with them all. They tasted great and they looked beautiful! We paid in advance and they were picked up around noon the day of the wedding and they were absolutely delicious when we served them as dessert. Every last donut was devoured but a crowd favorite was definitely the PB & J. I live out in Milford but when I am near Donut Bar I will always make a point to come by for a taste of my wedding day! I would definitely recommend Donut Bar for any donut or dessert experience.

Its a cute little place, but the donuts are just okay. Boston cream is one of my favorite donuts, and their version is a bit off. The chocolate was on the bitter side, and the cream lacked in flavor. It was almost too gritty to eat. However, the dough itself was not bad. My son really liked the cotton candy one, the strawberry cheese cake and 3 cream ones were both underwhelming. The donuts may look fabulously delicious, but theyre just meh. Plus, $13 for 4 donuts! A little overpriced if you ask me. All in all, its off my check list of places to try, but I would not go out of my way to get donuts here.

So Ive always loved this place, but today I had an amazing experience with them that I want to share with the world to show how great they are!Today is Fat Tuesday and the Donut Bar was packed with customers and orders and had a bunch of amazing paczkis. I got there really early to make sure that I could get 6 of their VEGAN ones (I am so grateful they always offer something vegan). I got my donuts really quickly, had amazing customer service. When I made it home though, I realized that they forgot to fill my batch with the jelly, so they were paczkis with no filling.I called them to explain the situation and they were SO friendly on the phone, asked no questions, and then asked for my name and said if I drove back over theyd have a 6 totally fresh new ones waiting for me. When I arrived, they greeted me so nicely. One of the employees (I cant remember her name but her hair is very short and she was wearing a bold lipstick color) even introduced herself to me, apologized, and said if I ever need anything again I can come to her and she will take care of me. She then handed me a DOZEN vegan paczkis, even though I had only paid for 6 earlier, and said Thank you for coming back and trusting us. Even on probably their busiest day of the year, they were still that understanding. Now THAT is customer service.As far as Im concerned, no place will ever have as great of donuts or customer service as the Donut Bar does, Id give them 6 stars if I could!

Put in an online order for a dozen donuts the day before, and everything was fresh and waiting for me when I went to pick them up. Staff were friendly, too! Ill definitely stop by for a really creative donut and a coffee next time Im nearby.

Its not often that I am able to say I am OBSESSED with a new food, but if you havent tried the Peanut Butter & Jelly donut, then you are definitely missing out!If youre not a fan of peanut butter or have an allergy, there are so many options that will have you leaving happy!I just want to point out how UNREAL the vegan donuts are!Thank you Donut Bar for being amazing!

Beware, once you have donuts here, all other donuts will pale in comparison. They are delicious and they will change your perception of what qualifies as a donut. Even the vanilla glaze is wonderful, but if you never try the raspberry, you are really missing out. Ive never had one that I didnt like, but the key lime is unforgettable. Service is quick and friendly. Rarely is there a wait.

I’m not sure how to rate this. This place has very delicious and unique donuts. BUT, unfortunately I had a poor customer experience this morning at the Southfield location. They open at 6am on weekday mornings and I decided to stop in for a purchase. Their doors were locked and there were 2 employees in the back working. There was a young lady standing at the door that had been waiting for 20 minutes prior to my arrival. She shared that the employees came out from the back, looked at her and did not acknowledge the fact that she was standing there in the cold. Not even so much as to say that they are running late, or when they were going to open the doors to the public. She called, I called, and they decided to not even answer the phone. No communication whatsoever as to what was going on or to at least share how much longer before the doors would be opened. Poor communication leads to a poor customer service experience which stays with you. One bad experience is all it takes for me not to want to spend my hard earned money there. I will not be back because of this.

Ive been seeing their ad on a social media site for the creme brulee donut. We wee bored one morning so we figured we would make the trip out to Southfield to try out the new place, well new to us that is. When we got there I was kind of shocked to see most of the selections were about $5 a piece which to me is a little on the high side for some fried dough, but, hey, we figured we would give them a try anyhow. We ordered three Donuts two of them were creme brulee. We took them home and bit into them and we were quickly disappointed, they are kind of on the dry side, which we could get over. I figured maybe it was from the trip home in the box, but the lack of filling is what really put us off. There was a teaspoonful at best. So at $5 a piece and an hour and a half round trip is pretty safe to say we will not be going back unfortunately.
