I’ve been a customer for over 5 years. I’ve always purchased insurance with my frames. However, I’m never able to get coverage when I really need it. This is because the program is only for 1 year. Don’t feel the insurance program is set up to protect and cover the customer for simple repairs. Would love for this insurance to cover 2 years. Or cover if times is just outside the one year mark. Ex. 1-3 months. If not, me and my family will not purchase any more insurance for glasses purchased. And will also seek other eye glass companies that offer greater insurance benefits. Considering my designer glasses cost $600 or more, I feel very under appreciated considering my tenure purchasing glasses from Henry Ford Optim Eyes. Daryl D 313-399-9373c

My daughter lost her glasses and couldnt see the board in class.. I went to henry ford optimeyes in southfield. Bre was fantastic 👏 she pulled my baby prescription up found and found her a replacement frame... I was literally in there no more than 15 minutes.. I paid for the frames and Bre was able to get my daughters glasses rushed instead of waiting 14 days which is there usual turn around.. I got a call the NEXT morning around 10:00am telling me my glasses were ready for pickup... 😳😳😳 amazing 👏 less than 24 hours my daughter had her new glasses... when we picked up her glasses Geneireve and Laurie were amazing they were so friendly and polite... I would recommend this place 5 star service... thanks so much...

Coming here for the first time by myself, the experience went as smoothly as possible. I was able to walk in and get an appointment the same day.The Eye Exam itself went quickly, the only slow part is waiting for the Doc to come into the room. Dr. Emanuela answered all of my questions after the exam with very clear assurances for any worries I had.After, I went to look for frames and lens options and Andrew thoroughly explained to me what my insurance could cover based on my purchase. He took me through all of the options within the store and helped me pick out the frames for me. Great amounts of patience and friendliness the entire time.

The staff was friendly, the facility is nice, clean and comfortable. I was waited on in a timely manner. I would recommend to anyone.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. Anthony (GM) has always provided me with incredible customer service. He is always courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. I live in Southfield and tried this location years ago. The customer service was so terrible I was forced to find another location far away from my house. I met, the now, GM Anthony. I have been following him from store to store to receive excellent customer service. I was overjoyed when I found out Anthony is now the GM at the Southfield location. The Southfield store will be the only place I go for my optical needs. I will definitely continue to refer my friends and family to Anthony for their optical needs as well.

Poor Customer Experience! I wish I could give your company a Zero. It takes a month and a half to MAYBE get my Trial contacts!!! How long will it take to receive my permanent Contacts? I came to get my glasses repaired. Remedios sweet helped me with my repair. And get a second pair of glasses for a back up.. She was awesome to work with.. Very friendly lady. Excellent help..

Very unprofessional and incompetent staff. Their lab staff were unable to remove and tint my lenses, then install my lenses back into their frame without breaking the frame! You have to sign a waiver to get any service, so they do nothing to make up for destroying your $400 glasses, that I purchased their on my last visit. But they were very eager to sell me new frames!!! Needless to say I refused to play into their scam and will never return to their store. I know they broke my frame on purpose because they tried to sell me new prescription sunglasses TWICE at full price of around $500, instead of tinting my lenses for $20. Beware!!!

I just wanted to give Layana a five star for being so patience and nice with me today as I picked out glasses, which was three pair. I am currently deciding which pair I would like the best, as she waited patiently again as her manager did a final check to make sure I was educated on what frames worked the best for my prescription. The front desk staff refused to take my Medicare insurance, said the didnt accept it. Finally a supervisor came along but since Henry Ford was having difficulty with their insurance computers, they wanted me to reschedule because I had an appointment too late in the day. They gave me the appointment, then tried to blame me for the problems their system was having. They obviously dont value Medicare patients. Im sure other places will be happy to get the business and accept a Medicare patient.The doctor that I finally got to see was excellent. A weaker personality person would have just wasted 40 minutes of their time and gone away with nothing.

This place is very ghetto. Had me waiting in line with a number. Never again.

I have been coming to this location since I started having trouble with my vision. A week ago I was rear-ended and my glasses were destroyed! I brought them up here in hopes they could be repaired because I cant see a thing without them! I was approached by an optical technician by the name of LAURIE, she analyzed my glasses and assured me they could be fixed but it would cost. I started to panic because payday isnt until Friday and lord knows I need my glasses to perform the work I do. She saw me panicking and immediately said, Well, give me a second let me see what I can do God must have really been on my side because a few minutes later. Laurie appeared with a new frame for my lenses!! I am so grateful she was able to assist and work around my situation ! Henryford Optimeyes, you have a GREAT employee in her,! If I could give this store 10 stars I would! Amazing service! My exam with Dr.Kimbro was very thorough, he was perfect. I have to say Ms.Selma was wonderful. She informed me the new Henry Ford rules regarding not being able to walk around and at first I didn’t think she could pick out the frame I wanted with out me looking around but she truly went above and beyond and picked the most perfect pair for me. Where is my glasses.I went about a month ago for a checkup and to get a new pair of reading glasses. That visit was a great experience. However, three weeks later I got a message that my glasses will be ready for pickup after a week! They didnt honor their service level agreement of 14 business days to deliver. Also, the manager didnt honor his word to have it ready by the promised date. I have difficulty reading as my current glasses broke last week.

Like most all places where you spend your money, you still have to be your own advocate and voice your concerns. There were a few hiccups during our last order (during COVID), but when I voiced my concerns they did listen. They were willing to work with me on a solution that was reasonable and mutually beneficial. Everyone was pleasant and cordial during every visit. We will continue to give them our business.

The absolute worst service ever! Had to call them to check on my glasses that were a week over due; then when someone told me the glasses were ready today; went up there and now the glasses aren’t ready today...still at the lab! Spent 800 dollars cash for my glasses (on top of what my insurance paid)...will NEVER spend another dollar with Henry Ford Opti-Eyes in Southfield Michigan or any of their locations.

I had a great experience at optimeyes with Amanda. She was super honest and very clear as far as what I needed for my eyecare!

Maher was very helpful with making calls for me on my phone, because I could not see from my eyes being dilated. He made sure I had enough money on benefit card. He took the time to call and activate my card and check my balance. He also helped me pick out frames that fit my face. I am so glad that I had Maher to help me today. I am so grateful for him.

Literally every single time I make an appt at this location theres an issue. They call and say they need to change the appt, theres an insurance issue etc. then when you call to inquire they act like its an inconvenience and the reps at the scheduling center are rude. Schedule at Southfield online without any problems. Literally have gotten same day appts walked in and been taken care of. Wouldn’t recommend Dearborn to anyone.

They can’t get their appointment scheduling right... booked one appointment online, got call back later saying that online booking doesn’t work and we need to reschedule... did that... day later got another call, we need to reschedule again, because the other reschedule didn’t go thru.. it really feels like they don’t care, I decided to go somewhere else
