The staff and doctors are friendly and fast! Greg was amaxing with helping me find the right frames

A friend recommended SVS and I am happy to have followed her suggestion. Dana and Greg the staff members were professional and friendly. In addition, Greg took the time to help me pick a pair of glasses that best fit me and I am grateful for his help. Dr. Glen Meador the optometrist, provided a thorough eye examination and is very personable and easy going. He is knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns to a tee. He is the type of doctor youd want to work with. All in all, I had a good experience here.

Customer rep. was also very helpful and courteous. Very satisfied with the service and my glasses which were ready within a week.

This being my first experience ever with SVS Vision started out very well. I was there to get a new pair of glasses. Carmen assisted me and was very good. When all was said and done, I was told my glasses would take a couple of weeks, and I would get a call to come pick them up. Well, two weeks turned into over one month. I know with COVID-19 roaming the earth, perhaps it would take a little longer, but not over one month. I called, and was told they would be in maybe the next day. So I waited, with patience, but no call for a few days. Then finally, I got a call that my glasses were in. They were originally sent to the wrong lab. I was also told I would receive $24.00 back for my inconvenience. I honestly didn’t expect anything, and I was correct, because thus far, nothing. Then after wearing the glasses for a week, I couldn’t see distance. I called and talked to the manager, Bryant, who seemingly wasn’t willing to work with me. I was told I needed to go see my doctor, and don’t take to long because I could be out of luck. Never once mentioned, bring them back and we’ll see what we can do. I decided to go to SVS Vision in Livonia, and as soon as I sat down and told Monica what happened, she said we’re gonna make this right. She and Vicki picked out different glasses for me, sent them off to the lab, and two weeksI got a call to pick them up. Nice and professional and they felt my pain. I came to pick up my glasses after receiving a phone call to inform me that they were ready. I was given the opportunity to have curbside service at that time. When I arrived I called and was told that I could come inside where I received professional service. They took utmost care to clean all surfaces, including the credit card I used to pay. I was very satisfied.

I recently received new insurance through work and was looking for someone who accepted my insurance. As I was googling the approved places, I came across SVS in Southfield. After reading the reviews, I decided to schedule my appointment right away. The online scheduling system through email is extremely helpful. I arrived at SVS for my appointment and the two girls working were extremely welcoming and friendly. The doctor is awesome & super helpful when it comes to questions. The girl who helped me with glasses was awesome and didnt rush me. The glasses are affordable in price and the service is impeccable. Great customer service all around! I would highly recommend going here for all your optical needs.

Loved my experience with SVS Vision. The doctor and staff were friendly, helpful and personable. They displayed good camaraderie among staff and long time patients. It made me feel good. Their service was top notch. I received glasses and contact. I was very pleased and felt cared for during my visit. They had a wide variety of glasses and many brands and styles to select.

Lovely staff quick and accuracte

My two boys and I all had eye examinations done here. The optometrists couldnt have been more friendly, gentle, thorough and patient. The support staff were stellar. Only I had to get framed, but the process was easy and seamless. Both occasions I went into the office, the entire staff and doctor were very personable, cracking jokes and smiling. Felt like family! Highly recommended!

We had a family emergency and I didnt think we would make it on time. I called and came in and we were taken care of right away. No waiting. No fuss. Prompt friendly service from everyone in a clean & friendly environment.

There was a little bit of a wait to see the optometrist Saturday afternoon but it was cool. I loved her personality and technique she used while performing the eye exam on my little person. Very polite, staff was mature as it appears this location caters to a diverse mature consumer base.

I give five stars from setting the appointment, to the warm friendly greeting, the care taking in helping me to select the from just right for me and the doctor is absolutely amazing. The staff here are great! Awesome personalities and it feels more like visiting family than a vision place. This location also has a much better selection of frames than a few of their other locations Ive visited.

I went to another vision care center and had my vision tested. I wasnt pleased with the selection of eyeglasses they offered but I was prepared to purchase a pair anyway. If not for a coworker who suggested that I try SVS vision I would have paid $200.00 more for my glasses. Their selection was great and the service was even better. Thank you Carmen and Eric!!!!

I have been going to a different branch of SVS my whole life. Today was my first day of going to the Southfield office and I will never go anywhere else. The staff here is INCREDIBLE. I had a blast, got all the help I could have asked for, and left in a better mood than when I got there. This place is simply the best.

My oldest daughter recommended I take my youngest daughter here. The staff was polite, the doctor was on time, friendly and knowledgable. They have a variety of frames to choose from. I will make an appointment for myself next.

They gave me a same day appointment. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. The optometrist gave me thorough explanation of procedures, and answered all my questions. I would highly recommended this location.

Dr. Jess is very good with adults and children. I haven’t seen this clear out of my contacts in years and she is getting my young daughter’s eyesight together. The workers there are very kind and friendly. I’m glad I chose them.

I was told that my glasses would be to me in 9 days. Then, it went from 9 days to 3 weeks and still waiting! Did they call to touch bases, nope! I had to call the store multiple times. You would be upset too if you’re spending $353 dollars for glasses that is on back order! Oh yeah, I just found that out today. After, my fourth time calling. I will never order my glasses here again and I would warn against my coworkers choosing this company for their future optical needs.

This optic center is sneaky, deceptive and full of BS! My mom bought me a new pair of glasses for my birthday because the store has a buy one get one (BOGO) 50% off sale and she wanted me to get two new pairs of glasses. We went together and ordered one new set of transition glasses so I could see how I liked the transition lenses before ordering a second pair. The deal says you have 30 days from the time you pick up your first pair to order the second pair at half off and redeem the BOGO deal. Anyway, my first pair of glasses cost $400 and I really do like them. After loving the transition glasses, I went back in (15 days later) to order my second (50% off) pair. When the manager calculated the cost of my second pair with the 50% off deal, it came out to a total of $390. I told the manager that price didnt make sense because the second frames were $10 cheaper than the first pair and those only cost $400 with no 50% off deal, so half off the price should come out to more around $200 for the second pair of glasses.The manager then told me that I was wrong and printed off the bill for my first pair - showing me that I received a discount on my first pairs lenses (supposedly the original lenses cost $395 but some magical discount made them $184 - of course this is a normal discount they give anyone, all the time, on regular priced glasses) but when they do the BOGO deal, you have to pay retail price for the lenses (meaning $395 half off is $197.25) so Id have to pay $12 more for the lenses with the BOGO deal. Of course, none of this was said or gone over when I ordered the first pair and they were promoting and pushing their great BOGO deal.Basically, half off at this deceptive business saves you nothing. The manager was a joke, I had already watched him argue with another lady 10 minutes before me, because this scammy company wouldnt properly apply her groupon coupon and once again was trying to use a discount to gouge people for more money and hidden fees. When I attempted to articulate how unreasonable it was to purchase the same set of glasses (actually same exact lenses as the first pair, yet $10 cheaper frames than the first pair) at 50% off and yet there was only a $10 decrease in the price ($400 compared to $390), the manager just kept rambling bs acting as if the math totally added up and made perfect sense and I was just an idiot who didnt know how to count. I tried to explain to him that we wouldnt have bought the first pair from SVS if we hadnt been fooled by their BOGO offer but he just kept spewing deceptive bs. In the end, I just told him I didnt agree with the SVS company methods and that I would never be back and I walked out. Never go here, and certainly dont buy theyre BS about a BOGO offer. Thanks for ruining a great birthday present from my mom SVS Vision - Southfield!

I was very dissatisfied with the service that my children and I received at this location today 9-21-17. We had 3 appointments scheduled, however, another woman customer came into the store which she was told that that there will be a wait... She told the staff, I cant wait because I have another appointment. The staff then took her ahead of my children and I as if our time isnt valuable. Not to mention, we made it to our next appt 20 minutes late. If it wasnt for my children having a much needed appointment, I would have cancelled all of our appointments! As a first time customer, Im totally annoyed and dissatisfied. First and last time doing business at SVS Vision Southfield. Manager, Thanks but no thanks for the apology.

Called late morning and they gave me an appt for thay afternoon the eye dr. Was through. She found out i had surgery on my eyes and another test to find if my eyes were still good. She took the timeTo review my questionnaire and ask me questions about my eye health, work suggestive selling of occupational glasses. Everyone was friendly.
