Do not order from them online. Ordered a new helmet, no statement of being out of stock. A week later hadnt shipped. Was told it would Ship out shortly from the parts manager. One additional week after was told it wouldnt ship for another 2.5 weeks.Dealership was NOT proactive about informing, I had to reach out to them every time. Eventually cancelled my order rather than deal with them.

Avoid at all costs. Ordered a simple internal sun visor replacement for my E1 helmet. Other than accepting the order and my payment via PayPal I got ZERO communication for a week and a half. I sent several emails to multiple address and called twice. Finally got someone on the phone who told me the part was coming from Schuberth and it usually takes a couple weeks. I canceled and ordered from Revzilla who actually keep parts in stock.FYI... Revzilla.com will price match anything that this BMW dealership has in there online store.

This is a bicycle shop inside a BMW motorcycle store! I came in for a inner tube replacement today and I got helped free of charge. They have been a motorcycle shop for 8 years and recently, 2 years ago they started doing bicycles too. This is a great shop for all your 2 wheel needs with a mom and pop shop vibe and BMW service.

If you’re on a long distance motorcycle trip, don’t count on Sierra BMW Motorcycles to change your oil. While traveling through Reno on a 7,000 mile motorcycle trip, I contacted the service department to see if they could change my oil. I’ve always been told that most service departments gladly work in long distance traveling motorcyclists. I was very disappointed that this dealership would not consider it and offered no alternatives other than ride on.

This online shop was a disaster for me!Order 01.07.21 immediately confirmed and paid via PayPal.07/03/21 Inquiry when will be sent Answer from Tim: There are parts out of stock ?? and would be ready for dispatch in 3-7 days!Until today 29.07.21 no further information received and no emails will be answered!Shameful for me because we sell beta even in Germany and our customers are used to a different service.

I ordered an Arai Signet-X in XXL, because I have a very particularly shaped head. After a week and some time it had not arrived so I called Sierra to inquire about the helmet. We found out it was back-ordered until June, and this was February.I could have had a refund but Sierra had the good price and I had another helmet...I do not know how they did it, but about a week later my helmet showed up. Perfect shape, I was able to remove enough of the tear-away padding to make it fit and thanks to a warm spell here in MI I have been able to put 100 miles on the helmet and I think it is going to work out. I would do business with Sierra again. I would have had the helmet a lot sooner but it got stuck in Memphis during the blizzard for a week. That was nobodys fault, as I have heard it said: it is always better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air rather than in the air, wishing you were on the ground.

Ordered 3 things online 2 weeks ago, 2 showed up promptly but the 3rd and most expensive item did not. their website didnt say it wasnt in stock, never got an email saying anything about any shipping delays, have tried to contact their parts department last 4 business days everyday by phone and email and got no response ever. still dont know whats going on, “we specialize in customer service” 1 star

We have an annual ride in June that historically involves torrential downpours. I needed a waterproof riding shoe and liked the BMW boot/shoe a great deal. I placed my order a little late considering the pandemic and was apprehensive about them arriving on time and in the correct size. I spoke to Tim who was not only knowledgeable about the product, he also moved heaven and earth to provide a quick turn around and I received my shoes on time and in the appropriate size.I truly appreciate Tim’s professionalism and the customer service provided. I had shopped for seven parts at several BMW dealers across the USA from Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, California, ETC and was met with excuses like the parts arent available, they are on backorder, inflated prices because of the availability ETC. Luckily I found Tim Conway at Sierra BMW Motorcycle. I sent Tim a list of the needed parts in a timely manner he responded with reasonable prices and stated it would take a week to receive the parts from BMW and two to three days to ship to me. Within three business days the parts were shipped to me and within two business days they were in my hands. Great example of a business practice of Under Promise and Over Deliver. I will definitely spread the word to my BMW riders.

Love these guys! I bought a Beta 300rr from them back in 2018 and have had nothing but great experiences shopping with them ever since. The parts guys are very knowledgeable about the bikes they carry, and can answer most questions right off the top of their heads. Need parts for your Beta? They have an amazing inventory, you could just about rebuild an entire bike with whats sitting on the shelf! Great service, convenient location close to my work, couldnt be happier. Thanks guys!

Ive been ordering accessories from Sierra for a few years now. I dont live in Nevada but Sierra has spent a tremendous amount of time building an online shop that, for me, shows their commitment to people like me. I have a 1500 mile trip in a few days that was on, then off/on/off, finally on and ordered a few items that were much needed and last minute. After uncertain status on whether everything would show up in time, I called and emailed to cancel the items and just roll without. A day later, an email arrived that my accessories would make it on the day I needed, and it did. Thanks Tim, you rock and its times like this that customer service and loyalty of customer go hand in hand!

I chose Sierra BMW for all my accessories and parts needs years ago because they offer the best prices in the US, charge a super low rate for shipping, and send me my items very quickly. I live in AL so I know that I have many choices but I found that Sierra is the best bar none. Tom, Lane, and all the staff are always ready to help me regardless of when I call. If I ever get out west, I will be sure to stop by and meet these great folks.

First, the purchase-I purchased a used machine in early 2017 from Sierra BMW. My wife and I were treated like royalty from the very beginning. When Lane said he had my back, he really meant it. Darin was a huge help to the both of us when we were looking at gear.Support-Recently before a big ride I had discovered that I had a possible bad coil. Of course it was Friday evening, around 5:30pm. I called Darin to make sure that they had the part in stock and asked him if he could hang out for a few minutes after they closed because I was coming in from Carson City. When I finally arrived, Darin was still there as was Scott to make sure I was getting the right part. What a terrific group of folks at Sierra BMW!

Best service manager (Scott McKay) and service team in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, most of California and all of Nevada, (make that the West). Their parts manager and department is incredibly knowledgeable.They are used to dealing with dualsport riders and are all dualsport/dirt riders, who know and understand the needs of rural riders. They mail or courier parts to me. They are used to doing it. For service, I ride 500 miles round-trip (drive in winter) to take my F650GS and F800GS in for service. I leave home at 5:30am, ride US 395 north to Reno, to get there when service opens at 9am, then ride home, same-day. I appreciate their quality service and professional attitude. Thanks Sierra BMW.

Dont buy from this place. Especially dont deal with their parts department.Ive emailed the manager, Tom Lynn, on multiple occasions and my order has been pushed back in 3-4 week intervals since I originally placed it in August. I get no updates unless I send an email or call in, and every time I ask for an update, they just tell me the part is delayed again. This was a $250 face shield.I asked for updates, and Tom said he cant give me updates because they have a list of 200+ people waiting for updates and it would be impossible to give everyone updates. He was rude and took zero responsibility.Originally with the order, I paid for expedited shipping, as the part was listed online as currently available. When I found out (on my own, no courtesy call from the department) that it was backordered and I wouldnt see it for months, they treated me like I was ridiculous for asking for a refund. I didnt get a refund on the shipping until I posted a negative review.I truly wouldnt have minded waiting, had Tom Lynn given me some kind of courtesy update. But in September I was told 2-3 weeks by Tom, so when I finally called in today and was told another 2-3 weeks from today (Nov 12), he wrote me off and told me I shouldnt be upset because he replied to my email.I work in a dealership and would never treat my customers this way. We have vehicles and parts on backorder and we keep in consistent contact with our clients. We do not wait for them to call in just to be informed that their already months-late part is delayed, again. If something gets delayed, you call in advance. EVEN if you have 200+ people waiting.

I made a request and I received an email that they had sent it, I waited 15 days and it did not arrive, I wrote to them and they informed me that they did not have it and that they had requested it from the factory, after 8 days I wrote again and the same answer adding that one of the requested products had been discontinued to choose something else with the same price, supposedly they already sent it after 30 days of purchase and even today it has not arrived. Terrible customer service.
